What’s wrong with king arthur in solo? I’m new but I seem to do well pretty much every game. He’s really easy to farm with and tanky. Games only seem hard if they go too long. I’d be more concerned with his lane opponent in the video. That guy that throws his ace and makes it rain, that god sucks

This might be weird but maybe a “your first game and what to do” video. Smite still has a ton of new players and the guides on TH-cam are almost entrely conquest. So maybe a super basic arena video could help new players plus I can show my friends who are new to the game too

Guide by role: (the times are in order for each role Early, Mid, and then Late)
Solo Lane: 3:07 ; 8:36 ; 12:43
Mid Lane: 4:05 ; 9:22 ; 13:41
Jungler: 4:56 ; 9:56 ; 14:40
ADC: 6:10 ; 10:49 ; 17:42
Support: 7:08 ; 10:15 ; 16:05
(ADC, and Support are Duo lane)

Support is a thankless job
I have 1700 hours in smite and have always thought of the support as the front line tank as opposed to the solo laner. Just goes to show that no one knows everything! Thanks as always for the super informative vids!
Well I think 99 % of people play frontline support together with solo thats what I read on online manuals and thats how I play and how I see others playing . You go frontline, force others to throw their abilities on you so they dont get thrown on mid or adc (smart players wont throw their ultimate on tanky support unless of course support is almost dead ) . By doing this their focus is on you not on adc / mid which allows them to move and attack from behind .
When pushing tower or phoenix if there are no minions you must dive first so that tower wont attack adc . If you are in backline then its much easier for others to focus and attack your mid/adc .
Of course since you are a guardian you have crowd control in you kit so you use that to save your teammates when someone tries attacking them , you peel for them or depending on situation use crowd control to set up kills if your team is in advantage and attacking.
Its jungler job to avoid frontline and attack backline and quickly kill them. Of course your mid and adc should be there when you make setup for kills without this you are wasting your abilities and getting punished by others if there is no one to follow you .
Support is supposed to be the secondary front line as a support you should stay in the back line using your actives, ult, ability, items to make the enemy diving hard
Thats one of the reasons that i hate the mage solo meta that some times appear, WHY? If you play a mage in solo you can win the 1v1 but won't be doing you job, late game you WONT no matter what do the job of a Warrior even If you are a Hades or Zhong that are supposed to be solo laners

Dive otherwise known as engage (to me at least)
Tank generally opens (there are exceptions) pinning down or just drawing the attention of the backline. Any damage dealers (bruisers/assassins) followup to eliminate the backliners, normally after key abilities have been spent (hard CC,ults,dashes,aegis etc.)
Then pray your backliners aren't complete potatoes and managed to at least gravely wound the enemy frontline
I've recently gotten into Smite and I used to be a support main in Paragon. The amount of flame I got for not being aggressive in lane as a support is insane and it took me a bit to realize there was some truth to it. The Support role in Paragon is very laid back in the early laning phase because there's fewer early objectives and hitting lane minions as a support is actually VERY BM because of Last Hitting being so vital, so yeah, I am now ready to become decent lol
"hyper lategame" *flashbacks ensue of 70+ minute games where it seems like both teams are literally of identical skill and none of us are going anywhere*. those teamfights are won or lost by sheer mental attrition warfare
The longest game I've played was around 90 mins and came down to no phoenixs alive and the enemy wiping on titan lol and it was "one quick game before i go to bed" lol
Maybe do a video about what to look for when counter building for each role. You dont have to mention specific items, just in general "see lots of health, build anti health sounds kinda obvious but I think it could definitely help

I wouldn't mind a more comprehensive farming guide. I hate playing Conquest because I always end up under leveled and just get demolished. Recognizing when and where to farm. Feels like half of the time when I go to clear a camp, I end up getting jumped and killed

You could do a video on counter building, or maybe a series on the best and worst matchups for specific gods as requested by us in a poll or something like that.
I'm from a different moba so this helped me alot with the differences.

Id like to see some good combos of everything you described. Good 3 man combos for early fighting in mid with supports, mids, and jungles. Also some good dive comps with solos and jungles. And even 3 backline combos, mid, carry, and support

And people gotta realize that sometimes your jungler gets out-rotated, but that does not mean he has to come to your lane if you die. If you get killed in a lane by a gank from the enemy jungler, 9/10 times it is more efficient and better for your jungler to go farm his experience, because anyone half decent will just retreat after the gank is complete, unless your buff is coming up then your jungler should be trying to defend. So quit your bitching and play better. I.e save your escapes for a retreat, do not play up without wards or relics. Call out any ultimates or relics that was used etc. A jungler is only as good as his team allows him. You have to be able to take care of yourself.
