The EW is definitely an issue, but in this case it’s just the specifics of fpv drones. Few meters before the target they loose the visual image and the signal because they get so low to the ground, but they continue flying by the trajectory.
Useful on the early stage of the war when russia was advancing at high speeds towards kiev,meaning their AD (air defense) couldnt catch up,leaving it vulnerable to drones No longer the case,as currently both sides had time to entrench

When I when from Driver to Loader to Gunner I thought I had the perfect position. We did not have thermals at that time. Nevertheless, at 1500 meters I was hitting 70%-85% 1ST Round on stationary targets day/night. At night this was with mortar illum or IR. 2ND Round was 95%. On moving Targets I was 65%-75% 1ST Round and 85% 2ND Round. I only had to shoot a 3RD Round 3X in 6 years. This is shooting TT7 and TT8. When promoted to TC, it was almost a let down. After becoming an Officer, it was always a goal to qualify on 1ST Run. We were about 90% after the thermal site M60A3s were deployed. As a TC, firing machine guns is not as exiting as Gunner. A TC only gets 1 opportunity to fire in each TT. I got “volunteered” to become an MI Officer. I attended all the schools and became a Brigade S2 (MI). Planning and winning multiple Battalion formations and engagements has a different kind of satisfaction. Good shooting!!! Slava Ukraini!!!

Technically a violation of conventions of war to wear the markings of an "uninvolved" country, but I assume the wearer just didn't have the time to get it done before being deployed to the front lines. Or maybe they chose to keep it as a way of signaling appreciation for German support (I also noticed the flag inside the bunker looks kind of NATO-inspired), or as Luis said it could be a foreign volunteer.

When I when from Driver to Loader to Gunner I thought I had the perfect position. We did not have thermals at that time. Nevertheless, at 1500 meters I was hitting 70%-85% 1ST Round on stationary targets day/night. At night this was with mortar illum or IR. 2ND Round was 95%. On moving Targets I was 65%-75% 1ST Round and 85% 2ND Round. I only had to shoot a 3RD Round 3X in 6 years. This is shooting TT7 and TT8. When promoted to TC, it was almost a let down. After becoming an Officer, it was always a goal to qualify on 1ST Run. We were about 90% after the thermal site M60A3s were deployed. As a TC, firing machine guns is not as exiting as Gunner. A TC only gets 1 opportunity to fire in each TT. I got “volunteered” to become an MI Officer. I attended all the schools and became a Brigade S2 (MI). Planning and winning multiple Battalion formations and engagements has a different kind of satisfaction.

@@drazgul9403 Having worn one of those myself, I can confirm they are indeed sewed-on very tightly, though probably not *impossible* to remove by a tailor with the proper tools. Technically a violation of conventions of war to wear the markings of an "uninvolved" country, but I assume the wearer just didn't have the time to get it done before being deployed to the front lines. Or maybe they chose to keep it as a way of signaling appreciation for German support (I also noticed the flag inside the bunker looks kind of NATO-inspired), or as Luis said it could be a foreign volunteer.
