I had lupus and I was on my deathbed with it literally the doctor told my husband my organs was starting to shut down and we still prayed for a healing we never gave up and we had 2 kids at this time in my life and one night nothing big happened no big feeling just a warm sensation and I started feeling better the next few days and I gained strength and weight and went for more testing and blood work and they doctor was so amazed they wanted to send me to North Carolina hospital for more testing cause they couldn’t find no sign on lupus! The Lord healed me and that was 8 years ago now!!!! God is good never quit praying!!!!

I have met both Joel & Luke Smallbone & I admire your courage & strength. I have been told by many of my friends that God will never give us more then we can handle. Last year, I became very sick with a Severe Case of the Stomach Flu, I was in & out of the Hospital 6 times in 3 weeks and I was at first scared & not sure what was gonna happen, but all of a sudden I felt God’s Peace & God pulled me through. The drs at 1 point did not think I would make it but I decided to just Trust God and I would be at Peace with whatever He decided to do. God is AWESOME!!!!! Praise God for Luke’s Healing.

I've had Colitis since I was 13, I'm now 42. I've never been told that I'm remission but at the same time, it has become my normal. I've learned how to live with it and for me, that is my remission.
I also have other autoimmune diseases. The Colitis actually caused a nasty rare skin disease called Pyoderma Gangrenosum. It's where your skin turns red and looks like an infection but can also come as a wound from ulcers that break out. I was in the hospital for two weeks four years ago, it took the doctors that long to figure it out. In the meantime, they kept doing biopsies and every time my skin would turn black and die, the wound got so big on my ankle that a chunk of it was gone. Not to mention how painful it was with even the slightest touch. The doctors thought I was going to need a skin graft but God is so good because of how well it healed.
I also had a blood transfusion when I was 18 because of the Colitis. And as mentioned I have another autoimmune disease that I got when I was a baby.
I used to pray for healing but God told me my soul is what needed to be healed more than my physical body. I trust God daily to keep me strong so I can take care of my kids and myself as best as I can.

Jennys Journey, Yahweh is a healing God but He does not promise everyone will be physically cured or healed of all things. That is a lie of the devil. Anyone telling you it is about your faith and not what it is which is God is allowing something and why can remain a mystery. The trials are the purification process and the only healing guaranteed is the healing of the eternal spirit within. Believe He can, for sure, heal the body as well as the spirit so don’t stop asking. Be aware of any bad feelings in your spirit arising from the length of time you suffer. Cast them out as you become aware. Amen

I'm so happy for you. I myself have an am experiencing some health issues and my husband had health uses prior where he almost died. Yes, you do grow from these tests. I guess that's why we have these trials and tribulations. We grow from them. You and Luke are so blessed and I'm so glad you found the strength. Though you may not realize it and it may not have felt like it, but God was carrying you sometimes at your weakest points. One set of footprints! May you and your family always be blessed. This story always gets to me! I’m 17 in highschool. I don’t go to the best highschool there’s not a lot of Christians and a lot of teens in my school are involved with drugs and alcohol. I also have a genetic condition that I struggle with. I’m a very insecure person I’m but open to my feelings. I try to help people in my school but not directly. A lot of them refuse but for me to be a light in school people steer towards me and I help them that way

This inspired me! God bless you both! Your story gave me hope, because right now I am going thru some injuries and illness myself. I have CRPS/RSD, I need surgery on my shoulder, anemia, and an enlarged spleen. I spend a lot of time in bed. I also have been dating my bf for 17 months now. My bf has taken me to Dr. visits, brought me food, made me food, he has always been there. I was worried he wasn't going to stick by me, due all the heath problems. I thank God for him! God is more concerned about our hearts and God has our highest and best! Even thru the hard times HE IS SO GOOD, even tho we don't understand why? PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!!

I, too, have Chronic Fatigue. I go to a pain management physiatrist who uses some “alternative “ therapies. Nothing new age or questionable. I have been taking Low Dose Naltrexone for three years, and it has helped me tremendously. It IS NOT a narcotic, nor is it an opioid. It is only available through a compounding pharmacy. Perhaps it is something that might help you.

I have lupus, sjogrens, rheumatoid arthritis just to start. I was the same when I was first diagnosed with lupus, i was so sick and lost so much weight, there were times I didn’t want to live. I was angry and pissed off at God. I felt I had been through enough in my life. I lost my mom when I was 4, I grieved the loss of my mother for years. I was sexually abuse starting at 2 off and on for 3 years. An abusive father and step mother. I had no control over anything and I was angry. But through a lot of years and counseling and loving people God began to break down the walls of hate and I began to heal. My illnesses don’t control me. I know Gods plan is so much bigger than I am.

Happy ending through all the struggles with God. My fiancé died by suicide, through years of pleading and fervent prayers. Sometimes the answer is no from God. I am so happy for wonderful testimonies but it leaves one feeling abandoned by God when things don’t go as hoped .

This title was clearly not what I expected it to truly be about. Not about divorce. Just fyi for anyone else who may be thinking the same thing before you listen.

Question, why did God put THC receptors in our bodies? I think he wants us to use thc in a responsible way for our infirmaties?

It's time to open your bibles and look back at the healing miracles Jesus did and then sent out his 12 disciples to do the same. God has given us ALL authority to trample on snakes which means you have the power through the Holy Spirit to be healed and delivered from ALL sickness and disease. Demons make you sick and if you repent of your sins and do a deliverance prayer the Holy Spirit will kick these demons out of your life and restore your health to new.

Why does everyone blame God when they have a problem, or think that they have to have this perfect life, just because they are a Christian. The Bible never promises us a care-free life, or that we would never have any problems. Actually it says just the opposite!

Sister Rose Acts 14:22 “confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

We know our life will not be perfect, we know we will have struggles. It’s different to know it vs. live through it. It’s human, so incredibly human and normal. We need to go through those feelings, not deny them.
