Hey John, went out to Jeff Head a couple of days ago and caught 2 limits of slivers. DOW was about 220 ft. deep and fishing depth was 150. Pretty deep for Silvers, eh! The setups were a mountain dew flasher with cookies and cream coho killer the other one was a purple haze flasher and purple spatter back ace hi fly.
Love your video John! John, I just got a small downrigger for a small 12 feet aluminum boat. Any good salmon trolling rod brands and model you can suggest. What trolling rod did you use on this video. Thanks!
Thanks you for this information. I went out with a buddy recently who followed much of this information and we had some good success. Much appreciated.
What leader length for the hoochie and fly?

Great info, did you use a dremel to cut out the hole for the LED blinker?
I used a dremel with a rotozip cutting bit to cut the hole.
That's what I used.
Love the dead coho in the net. Thanks for the tips.
Hey...we got one on the other rod...get that right away"😅
I’m no film expert but the ending looked a little staged... lol.... fish on!!!
I thought about editing that portion out of the video out but there was a fish on the other rod while we were shooting that clip. So I left it in.
