Rian Johnson coming to meet the fans at the overnight hall was amazing for me, and I feel grateful that he made so many people like me happy with pictures and autographs and his overall friendliness.
Qasim Hassan me too. Made my 9 year old kid very happy. He is already an aspiring filmmaker and he will never forget the night he met Rian Johnson at midnight at Star Wars Celebration.
Remember that Hamill meant that he disagreed with Rian's take on the character after his FIRST reading of the script. He meant that that was his initial reaction. But then Hamill goes on to explain that he realized his ideas aren't always the best for the story or the direction it should be going. He used the example of how he initially thought Luke appearance in Episode 7 might come off badly. But then he says he thought it turned out really well because of John Williams score and Daisy Ridley's performance. Also let's not forget during the panel Mark Hamill says Rian Johnson is the best writer/director he'd ever worked with. So I think all of his comments are just saying he was skeptical upon reading the script for the first time.
I think I actually managed to laugh and cry simultaneously. If anyone didn't cry their eye's out at that, they need to be seriously examined for some kind of hideous zombie disease.
I need the Council to do percentages for KOTOR/ Revan movie! Also, Christian mentioned something about a similar story arc with Rey which seems pretty cool, just wondering who she could previously have been.
Me too. So why show Revan. I do think he will be made canon in the not to distant future. I also think the long rumored live action show will be about the old republic because you simply could not tell that tale in a one off movie. The saga movies [trilogies] seem to concentrate on the Skywalker family.
If there was ever a day I needed to escape to a Galaxy far, far away, it's today. Star Wars & Jedi Council never fails on helping me do that. Thank goodness for Star Wars & thank goodness for Jedi Council.
I think people are forgetting the part of the quote where mark says "and once I got into it most of my fears went away." I think mark hammill wanted luke to be some old Jedi that is entirely heroic (like obi wan in a new hope) but that he is actually a broken man who is somewhat cowardly and has had enough of being a Jedi. I trust Rian Johnson and I do not think mark thinks that the script sucks, just that it's a much different take than he wanted
So fun seeing you guys at celebration! I was so happy that I got into the Jedi Council and Schmoedown panels and I even got a picture with Perri! Here's to Celebration 2019!
i second that. honestly im 100% certain that he will be canonized. hes too beloved a character. they just want to do it right and not bastardize the character we love
Every time I look at the amount of subscribers they have I still wonder how they don't have AT LEAST 500,000 subscribers. Collider's content is so great!!!
Mark's tribute to Carie was really touching as well. I thought it was great. The John Williams moment was tear jerking. Even from home on TH-cam. Hard not to well up
As a diehard Ahsoka fan, I HATE the wolf idea. If we are to have Ahsoka back, I want her to be "really" back, not some Direwolf nonsense. It would be a shame for her character to just suddenly take a turn into that would limit her ability in future stories. If they kill her off in Season 4, I want Togruta Ahsoka to give an emotional farewell, not as a Force Wolf. If she survives Rebels Season 4, turning her would regulate her to, well, what a wolf can do. And Ahsoka is so much more than that. Although this is a stubborn Ahsoka fan over here who grew up alongside her, so I'm incredibly protective of her character. Maybe, I'm crazy. I actually think these wolves seen in the trailer are the ones mentioned by Filoni in the Ahsoka Tales panel at last year's Celebration. During Order 66, while Clone Troopers were after her on some planet whose name escapes me, they ran into Ahsoka but she had these two Mononoke-type wolves, with legs like tree trunks, that came to her aid. I think these will be almost her "spirit guides" in a way, but however Filoni incorporates them in Rebels, I'd down. *sigh* I still trust Filoni, because if there is anyone who loves Ahsoka more than the fans, it's Filoni himself.
Jesus Christ, I can't tell Mark Reilly and Ken Napzok apart when they're in the same video. I was legitimately very confused. But I love you both in your own way, keep on keeping on.
DUDE! Me and my Brother lived off of Nathan's Hot dogs at this years celebration they were awesome for some reason. I thought everything was awesome. I Cos-played as Mase Windu I met fans from all over the globe. Talked Star Wars with Strangers who suddenly felt like family. It was a wonderful experience especially for my first time. After watching Celebration 2016 from Home last year. I can tell you this was a much better experience. I barely slept the whole time I did Photo Ops and autographs with Hamill and Billy D. I did miss the Jedi council panels just because i was so dam tired at the end of each day at celebration. But I did make the Last Jedi and Rebels panels. The First episode of Rebels was awesome and a real treat.
Revan is by FAR the most popular character in legend's history, imo. Everytime there's any type of poll about a legend's character, Revan comes out ontop.
Kyp yeah I'm pretty sure Vos didn't die in Dark Disciple, I haven't read it in a while though, was there something else later on that he died in? Anyway, Momoa as Vos would be fucking perfect
I would love to see an Old Republic Trilogy and an Obi-Wan standalone spinoff. I'd think it be cool to expand the universe into tv shows so that way they don't have to put so much focus on a fourth Trilogy.
When Tiffany is jet-lagged she really compliments the council. This was one of my favorite episodes! Don't get me wrong I love this girl, but I hate the giggles because I take STARWARS so seriously. Alas, this a flaw in my character, not hers, so I apologize if anyone takes this as insulting. This is an awesome council line-up, love' em all.
I think Hammil is throwing everybody off on purpose, he's being deceiving so that it makes people talk. Something that led me to believe this was when he was speaking at the panel and was really beating around the bush about Luke and Kathleen Kenedy cut him off to say that Luke is a major part of the film. Cuz Mark was really not giving much info at all. He's very much downplaying his role atm and it's probably gonna be bigger than anyone expects.
The stream for the 40th anniversary absolutely sucked. We missed some of the best parts. Also, some screens weren't shown from some of the panels on the streams. So I'd say being there would have been so much better!
I think the best Idea for a Star Wars Live Action Series, would be just about Coruscant between III and IV. Imagine something like Game of Thrones, where you switch between the Characters. You have Underworld Criminals, Imperial Moffs, Senators, some regular Stormtrooper who is just serving his duty, you could have Cameos by Vader and the Emperor, and maybe even Thrawn, Yularen or Sloane. It wouldnt need too big of a budget, because you can shoot the most scenes indoor with Sets that you can reuse, and you dont need too much Space Scenes because you stick to the Planet. And there would be soooo much potential for Storys. Imagine a Imperial Senator who slowly figures out that they are building the Death Star, and then gets murdered by a ISB Agent, or a Rebel Spy who tries to recruit some resistance fighters to attack the Palace...so many possiblites!
This gets me more excited. As much as I loved R1, Gareth Edwards heavily detailed it. They hired him for his great scope which he delivered but he even admitted that he first planned shots and wrote the movie around the shots. Rian Johnson genuinely wants to take the story in a new direction over the visuals and that is some of the best news I've hesrd
Been rewatching SW Clone Wars and this time, I'm really appreciating the QUALITY of animation, cgi vfx if you can call it that (still). It's amazing and beautiful - production budget must have been huge!
I hope they don't go the route of Ahsoka being the large wolf. That concept is going to suck balls. Vader didn't defeat her at the end of season 2. That was a good, evenly matched duel. Why is it all of a sudden that people think she didn't survive the fight? If anything, I think the series demonstrated how powerful she's become since the Clone Wars. She was a good fighter then, she was going toe to toe with Vader here with a dual fencing style to boot. To me, she's shown that going Grey Jedi is the way to go. Comes back to that theme of having balance in the Force. It looked like she went into the Sith temple in the end of Season 2 after the fight with Vader. To me, that fight was a draw. I think having her come out a little darker having learned from the Sith holicrons would be a much better direction for her storyline.
I would love it, somewhere on the other side of the galaxy in a system no one has heard of, there's the neatest characters and the greatest story yet to be told in the Star Wars universe. Lets go there soon so Star Wars can blow the minds of this generation.
Rey's backstory. I was thinking about how Daisy has said she felt it was "obvious" who her parents are so I really thought about it. This is what I came up with. 1.) Leia cheated on Han or vice versa (though if it's Han it'd have to be a force sensitive woman). The child tore them apart and caused their split and Ben was bitter and angry over his family being torn apart. That's why he refers to Rey as if he knows of her but never met her. She was training with Luke as well until Kylo snapped and destroyed the order and she was hidden for her safety. 2.) She's from the unknown regions. She was dropped on Jakku at the edge of the galaxy and mind wiped. Possibly evil origins like Abeloth or she was mind wiped like anakin was when The Brother showed him the future. Snoke wants her as a host (he's also from Unknown regions). Possible tie-in to Thrawn's personal mission. Whatcha think Collider crew?
Only way you can justify the scar change is that the Bacta tank mostly healed it but not fully and it resulted in the slight movement and thinned it out a lot
I had the chance to go to celebration and got into 40th and last jedi panels live. It was the an amazing 4 days would do it again in a heartbeat. Also both your panels were really fun! Especially the Schmoedown.
One thing to consider about Hamill's feelings about Luke: Johnson may have given him a character arch that ends in XI. His arch may end more in line with the ROTJ Luke we knew. I'm not sure Hamill has read anything for XI yet.
does anyone else besides me want a standalone vader movie? he could hunt down some surviving jedi while being plagued by visions of padme yoda and obi wan
I don't think that a movie with Vader as a protagonist would work all that well. Not post-mask Vader. A story like that I think should be left for comics or books, but Vader works much better as an antagonist in a film. As a protagonist, he would not have much to say considering with normal demeanor, facial expressions would be non-existent, and the film would almost be action and slaughter for the sake of it.I'd LOOOOVE a Vader story, but I do'n't think it would work. Read the Purge comic for an example of this. It's Legends, but it's still really cool. AND we're getting a new on-going Darth Vader series set right after RotS, in which he hunts down some Jedi, so there's some Vader stories for ya!
Last Friday at the beginning of Star Wars Celebration, while speaking on stage to the crowd Kathleen Kennedy said that the success of Rogue One has given her and her colleagues the confidence to proceed and develop more future Star Wars film projects similar to Rogue One. This most likely means Kathleen Kennedy is willing to consider green lighting darker themed Star Wars films. This is good news for a potential Darth Vader film. I mean if a film like Rogue One where all of the film's main protagonists get killed by the Empire and the film still grosses over 1 Billion dollars then why not make a Darth Vader film while James Earl Jones is still around to provide the iconic voice of Darth Vader and maybe make 2 Billion dollars at the world wide box office.
We had three prequels that were supposed to do that. If he has multiple scenes like Rogue One's cameo, it would be better. He's kind of that behind the scenes guy that's a badass when it comes to absolutes.
I would love a standalone "Vader" movie, but I wouldn't want the protagonist to be Darth himself. Vader is best when used conservatively. Instead, have the movie be from the perspective of one of the surviving Jedi after Order 66. It could have a horror movie vibe to it, as our protagonist is hunted by Vader, ending in their inevitable defeat.
PurpleNaruga the big 3 of the legends universe would be Revan, Thrawn, and Kyle Katarn. Bane I'd say is a close 4th, but you could open a film with any of the big 3 mentioned and have it span multiple films easily.
revan will get in eventually....they dropped the ball on kyle kataran, i assume they didnt wanna pay for the rights to him? same with most legends characters/backstory who owns the rights
With Rebels I'm so glad I stuck with it through season 1. I thought a few times they would go to "Disney". Clone Wars was Gun Smoke and Rebels was Bonanza. I loved how CW would tell stories from anywhere and anyone in the galaxy.
I do want to give Filoni some props. I don't like everything he's done, but he made Anakin a likeable, understandable, relatable character, and all the more tragic for it. And he created Ahsoka, giving her a full, rich, "realistic" journey from an annoying kid that was one of my least liked characters in Star Wars, to a teenaged character that I really enjoyed and saw a lot of growth and potential in, to an adult character that I love. I do hope we see more of her in some form.
Kristian prior to last week, "I think we're gonna get Ewan McGregor and a Kenobi announcement and the new animated show premise." Kristian this week, "Of course we didn't get anything on the Kenobi movie or new animated series. It would take away from the 40th Anniversary and Carrie Fisher stuff." I like how he can be right no matter what.
Ahsoka's theme and the Imperial March were played during the concept art reveal of the Mando helmets for S4: hopefully this signals Vader wiping out some Mandos and a final duel with Ahsoka.
only issue i had with celebration london wasnt the content, it was wristbanding, they had in writing on the website that no bands would be let out until 9am an hour before doors open inside the convention. So ok thats cool so if you want to queue up night before thats fine too if your hardcore enough and live local. But for me i got there at 7am morning of day one only to find out that lucasfilm decided to open the doors to get wristbands at 10pm the night before and giving out free pizza, and soon as people heard this news, locals in london went rushing to the arena to get wristbands earlier than they thought they could, meaning people like myself who were travelling down on the day couldnt get there in time. You dont change the rules of the smallprint with tickets and wristbands as people as planned hotel and travel. That was a big no no for me, i dont know if they did that again in orlando but they sure pissed me off last year... I did get to meet Perri though and one fan gave me the rogue one poster which was kind of them as id missed out on one. I agree though the buzz of being at celebration was still awesome even though i didnt get to any panels.
LevelGap Gaming jesus christ dude tone down the fucking negative shit, everything fucking comment is you talking shit...if you don't like the new movies then don't reply and keep that bullshit to yourself
In the future id love a live action anakin and obiwan clone wars standalone movie. This may add to the lack of friendship between the 2 seen in the prequels and the potential to see rex and ahsoka even? Also putting emphasis on the jedi we got to know which will add more weight to the order 66 sequence. Dave filoni could have his chance in the directors seat (though i know hes busy with animation but come on! Its about time) plus, hayden and ewan still look relatively young. I get that we should explore new territory but clone wars era is just great! And seeing a more in depth look at the clone wars in live action is just the film i need. Dont feel like we got enough in episodes 2-3 as there were other story elements in the way to really show the clone wars in a real gritty live action setting.
I'm guessing he meant the 40th panel too, but you never know he might not have realised he was there. I have to give props to Denis Lawson for showing up, he's been quite outspokenly negative about Star Wars in the past and I think only now is he starting to be proud he was involved with it.
Ahsoka is pretty much Gandalf. One of the tracks in the season 2 soundtrack is called "where the sun sails the moon walks" (paraphrasing) But it's a quote from Gandalf. :D
Love all the content, but you guys got 'Phantom Menaced' out in Orlando. Battlefront II we knew about, Carrie Fisher we knew about, Rebels IV we knew about.
Last week was my first Star Wars Celebration, and it will also probably be my last. The wrist band panels were managed so poorly. If you have one major panel each day, have a enough spaces set aside for EVERY badge for that day. Loved the Collider Panel and Meet Up.
Can we slow down on all the new aliens and planets and have some returning ones in the background AND forfront in Han Solo and Episode 8? It feels like they are adding so many new ones that it feels very very disconnected to the Star Wars universe, as if it takes place in a different Galaxy. A nice balance of old and new aliens and planets is all I'm asking for.
great show and welcome back to the studio. in your absence, i discovered a TH-cam fella named Thor Skywalker. VERY good. have y'all heard of him before? dude is on point. just wondering.
Regarding Mark Hamill's comments, anyone who grew up with the OT certainly spent countless hours thinking about where these characters would go next. Hamill has probably been thinking about and crafting his story in his head for 30 years, only to have it all be pointless because of the new direction Rian, JJ, and crew have taken things. I don't think it's a bad omen for the Last Jedi, so much as a sign of a unique storyteller and fan getting to show what he can do. If they rehashed ESB, we would complain about it being unoriginal . If they had just adapted the Thrawn trilogy, it would have been cool see come to life, but we would complain that it was unoriginal. If they introduced the Yuuzhan Vong, there would be rioting in the streets.... so I am glad they're spinning a new story. Keeps us all on our toes.
I was at Celebration last year and in terms of Movies stuff, there seemed more last year. We the directors of Han Solo and Youn Han Solo himself on stage. We had a Rogue one trailer plus the same as this year Rebels ,Mark Hamil etc.
Mark Hamill's full quote about his character: "I fundamentally disagree with virtually everything you've decided about my character, but might be a good sign because I was really wrong about my character in episode VII."
On the Rey Dameron topic... 1) I kind of don't think they'd do it because it would be the same thing again, but... 2) I kind of don't think Disney/Lucasfilm cares that some people don't like repeating themes because... 3) The Last Jedi will definitely have repeating themes. 4) Shara Bey, as Ken alluded to, cannot be Rey's mother, but... 5) That does not mean that Rey cannot be a Dameron, even Poe's half-sister. 6) Rey is young enough and Poe is old enough that any younger interactions she may have had with Poe would have been during the long segment of Poe's early life, that we little know of. 7) Perhaps being born near and being raised (to a point) near a Force tree would have increased her Force sensitivity, the way it is theorized that Poe may be somewhat Force sensitive, having grown up near one, but not from birth. 8) Rey is Basically the Luke of this generation's characters. 9) Poe is basically the Leia of this generation's characters. 10) Oddly, they are two of the three new main hero characters, yet they haven't met, as far as we've seen on screen. 10) All this has happened before and all this will happen again. So say we all. Wait, wrong franchise. 11) Or is it...? :P I doubt that they are, but I see no clear reason at this point why they can't be halfsies. So far, it makes more sense than Luke and Leia did back in the OT. Though, if they did turn out to be, that is not the big shock reveal that's coming. It would be as matter-of-fact as it was presented when Luke told Leia in RotJ. Maybe with a bit more excitement, because this generation needs things turned up to eleven.
Honestly, I would love to see a trilogy of movies based upon the old republic era. At least one of the films should cover most of the original KotOR storyline in depth. I'd love to see Revan etc, that'd be great!
Give us a KOTOR trilogy! Nothing would be more awesome than this!
Help us, Obi-Wan standalone. You're our only hope.
Anyone else get happier when you see the video is over an hour long? :)
Remember that Hamill meant that he disagreed with Rian's take on the character after his FIRST reading of the script. He meant that that was his initial reaction. But then Hamill goes on to explain that he realized his ideas aren't always the best for the story or the direction it should be going. So I think all of his comments are just saying he was skeptical upon reading the script for the first time.
Mark Hamill's panel for Carrie made me full on cry.
I think I actually managed to laugh and cry simultaneously. If anyone didn't cry their eye's out at that, they need to be seriously examined for some kind of hideous zombie disease.
It was awesome seeing you guys at Celebration. Thanks for taking pictures with us and talking to us. The council are some real down to Earth dudes.
Did Harloff buy a lightsaber? That's the most important question I have.
This was supposed to be the year! lol
Yup
Dude, yes! I want to know as well!
I dunno about Harloff, but I did
shehchahc
I see Darth Revan I get hyped up
I still have hope they will finally do something with Revan.
Let's hope it's not just "Darth" but rather Revan...as a complete person...he wasn't just a Sith and I feel like a lot of people forget that.
I need the Council to do percentages for KOTOR/ Revan movie! Also, Christian mentioned something about a similar story arc with Rey which seems pretty cool, just wondering who she could previously have been.

I'd be down for that too but would love to see it sooner...
If there was ever a day I needed to escape to a Galaxy far, far away, it's today. Star Wars & Jedi Council never fails on helping me do that. Thank goodness for Star Wars & thank goodness for Jedi Council.
Great show guys, can't go far wrong with Napzok & Reilly on the council for me. Thanks for all the celebration coverage too guys.
I think people are forgetting the part of the quote where mark says "and once I got into it most of my fears went away." I trust Rian Johnson and I do not think mark thinks that the script sucks, just that it's a much different take than he wanted
Billy & Boris His whole family fucks shit up in the galaxy on both sides makes sense he would be a broken man
So fun seeing you guys at celebration! I was so happy that I got into the Jedi Council and Schmoedown panels and I even got a picture with Perri! Here's to Celebration 2019!
Alexandra Daddario as Ahsoka.
I just want Revan canon, i dont care if its a film trilogy or a netflix/HBO miniseries or full series.
I dont understand, why they have Revans picture in the title of this video but they dont mention revan at all ?
They could never make that a one shot. Old Republic, or possibly Darth Bane, should span multiple movies.
i second that. honestly im 100% certain that he will be canonized. hes too beloved a character. they just want to do it right and not bastardize the character we love
laughed so hard at 59:01 haha. love david griffin man.
Hard not to well up
A big round of applause for the Collider crew on a job well done. I hope I can be there in 2019.
You guys did an amazing job covering Star Wars Celebration this year!

It's always good to see Tiffany Smith it brings me back to the far far away days!
Adrian Garcia I miss those days
Jesus Christ, I can't tell Mark Reilly and Ken Napzok apart when they're in the same video. I was legitimately very confused.
But I love you both in your own way, keep on keeping on.
Fitting Reilly and Tiffany were here since they were the 2 Big Council Members who missed the big Celebration Panel
DUDE! Me and my Brother lived off of Nathan's Hot dogs at this years celebration they were awesome for some reason. I thought everything was awesome. Jason Momoa as Quinlan Vos being hunted after the Clone Wars. Make it happen Disney!
Kyp yeah I'm pretty sure Vos didn't die in Dark Disciple, I haven't read it in a while though, was there something else later on that he died in? Anyway, Momoa as Vos would be fucking perfect
He's mentioned in episode 3 after dark disciple.
Obi-Wan: "Saleucami has fallen and Master Vos has moved his troops to Boz Pity."
jonathan fletcher oh alright thanks for the info, I had forgotten about that
I loved Mark Hamill's panel that was a tribute to Carrie Fisher. It was moving and beautiful.
Great to see you back Tiffany!!! Now, please come back on Schmoes too!
I love having the Smith Lord on the Council!! I miss her on Schmoes, but it's great to still see her every once in a while!
They should move Kylo's scar in every movie! lol
JDSCT nudge it a few mm until it's floating beside his head
He can be the Igor from Young Frankenstein of Star Wars lol
I was just down the row from you guys at the 40th Panel - what a place to be!
I would love to see an Old Republic Trilogy and an Obi-Wan standalone spinoff. I'd think it be cool to expand the universe into tv shows so that way they don't have to put so much focus on a fourth Trilogy.
I missed Tiff it's good to see her back!
47:23 Hahaha! That sound from Ken had me in tears.

OneButton Dash exactly man....too many people are worrying too much
warwick davis should be given great credit for keeping the panels lively, engaging and moving alone nicely.
Love u guys this is my favorite show period and the reason why I found collider and now watch every show u guys have👍🏿
The stream for the 40th anniversary absolutely sucked. We missed some of the best parts. Also, some screens weren't shown from some of the panels on the streams. So I'd say being there would have been so much better!

I wasn't at the Celebration, I watched it at home on a comfy sofa, with a cup of tea and a giant spliff.
Been rewatching SW Clone Wars and this time, I'm really appreciating the QUALITY of animation, cgi vfx if you can call it that (still). It's amazing and beautiful - production budget must have been huge!
I wish i knew Tiffany was coming, I live in Costa Rica but i was at home watching every bit of celebration !!!

Comes back to that theme of having balance in the Force. It looked like she went into the Sith temple in the end of Season 2 after the fight with Vader. To me, that fight was a draw. I think having her come out a little darker having learned from the Sith holicrons would be a much better direction for her storyline.
Wow! You didn't even took a week off. Kudos guys, kudos to you!
Disney, please. Give us solo movie about young Palpatine with Tom Hiddleston.
Another Jedi Council, another prayer for an Old Republic trilogy!
I would love it, somewhere on the other side of the galaxy in a system no one has heard of, there's the neatest characters and the greatest story yet to be told in the Star Wars universe. Lets go there soon so Star Wars can blow the minds of this generation.
found my self amazed that i just watched this whole thing, greatt vid, first time watcher , definitely got my sub
The stream was amazing this year!
Im waiting so much to see my favorite Obi character.! Ian was great, and im very happy to see him again
Hey Harloff, Denis Lawson was in Celebration, on the sound stage with the Star wars Show
I had the chance to go to celebration and got into 40th and last jedi panels live.
Jordan Sherrick they're making a virtual reality film. So if you count that then
why didn't you report on any of the battlefront 2 news from after celebration? Like tanks, new art and class details.
I agree you have to be there. This was my first one and blew me away.
Thrawn is the most popular character in legends? Thats a funny way to spell Darth Revan
Harrison Snellgrove I would actually say the 3 are revan, thrawn and Mara jade
It wasn't spelled tho, it was said so....
PurpleNaruga Bane, bro. Bane!
Man, I really wanted to see you guys, I was there all 4 days but everything we had planned just didn't line up :'(
I'm a simple man. I see Revan on thumbnail, I upvote.
Kristian prior to last week, "I think we're gonna get Ewan McGregor and a Kenobi announcement and the new animated show premise."
Kristian this week, "Of course we didn't get anything on the Kenobi movie or new animated series. It would take away from the 40th Anniversary and Carrie Fisher stuff."
I like how he can be right no matter what.
Ahsoka's theme and the Imperial March were played during the concept art reveal of the Mando helmets for S4: hopefully this signals Vader wiping out some Mandos and a final duel with Ahsoka.
Dennis Lawson was there. I saw him giving an interview on one of the stages while I was watching all the streams.
Happy 420 Jedi Council. Getting high AF and watching JC, Sláinte. Plus how you guys tease Smith Lord about Rebels is hilarious, she's gorgeous btw
Tiff is back. One of the best formations of the council.
I would like them all on the same table, but there would be no space.
I agree, Dwan. Great to have Tiffany back and yes this was one of my favorite Councils as well.
YES
Dwan Garcez De Oliveira I hope this is sarcastic.
Dwan Garcez De Oliveira IMO Tiff > Perri
only issue i had with celebration london wasnt the content, it was wristbanding, they had in writing on the website that no bands would be let out until 9am an hour before doors open inside the convention.
How about an announcement about upcoming Star Wars projects on the actual 40th anniversary date of the theatrical release of A New Hope on May 25th?
I wonder if Luke and Leia will have scenes together in The Last Jedi.
LevelGap Gaming jesus christ dude tone down the fucking negative shit, everything fucking comment is you talking shit...if you don't like the new movies then don't reply and keep that bullshit to yourself
Dennis Lawson was there. He was in celebration being interviewed on the Star Wars show but he wasn't on the 40 year panel
Yeah everyone knew that, we were saying we predicted him to be at Last Jedi panel and he wasn't/
Does Ahsoka really have to die? I mean if its the whole last Jedi thing, Ahsoka isn't a jedi so that doesn't mean she has to be dead.
Well don't you think she would have shown up to meet the young Jedi and great pilot Luke "Skywalker" if she were alive after Rebels?
Deuce Horn Geralt is the white wolf. Ashoka is the dead one.
4:04 Denis Lawson was there though, he did an interview, he just wasn't on any panels.
Rogan Miller I don't have Twitter, you should tweet Kristian the link to his interview. I saw it too.
Rogan Miller yeah I think they just meant 40th panel
I'm guessing he meant the 40th panel too, but you never know he might not have realised he was there. I have to give props to Denis Lawson for showing up, he's been quite outspokenly negative about Star Wars in the past and I think only now is he starting to be proud he was involved with it.
Rogan Miller he knew. he brought him up on movie talk when they were talking about why Ewan wasn't there
Great show guys!!!
Ahsoka is pretty much Gandalf. One of the tracks in the season 2 soundtrack is called "where the sun sails the moon walks" (paraphrasing)
But it's a quote from Gandalf.
Did celebration do anything for Kenny Baker?
Can we slow down on all the new aliens and planets and have some returning ones in the background AND forfront in Han Solo and Episode 8? It feels like they are adding so many new ones that it feels very very disconnected to the Star Wars universe, as if it takes place in a different Galaxy. A nice balance of old and new aliens and planets is all I'm asking for.
great show and welcome back to the studio. in your absence, i discovered a TH-cam fella named Thor Skywalker. VERY good. have y'all heard of him before? dude is on point. just wondering.
I know I am not the only one that says Whats the deal with canon when Kristian says it. Right?
Andy Evans I know I do lol
Keeps us all on our toes.
is the 6 eyed alien not Warwick? i thought thats why they were mentioned together when the pic hit.
That thumbnail has me hyped.
PSA the second w in "Warwick" is silent. It's "Warrick" not "War-Wick".
I was at Celebration last year and in terms of Movies stuff, there seemed more last year. We the directors of Han Solo and Youn Han Solo himself on stage. We had a Rogue one trailer plus the same as this year Rebels ,Mark Hamil etc.
Dennis Lawson was there! they interviewed him on the star wars show stage!
Just to stick up for TFA, maybe the premise went down the line of ANH, but the characterization was completely different which made TFA very original.
I doubt that they are, but I see no clear reason at this point why they can't be halfsies.
Love this Council. Cant wait for Captain Phasma
glad to see the Smith Lord
Honestly, I would love to see a trilogy of movies based upon the old republic era. At least one of the films should cover most of the original KotOR storyline in depth. I'd love to see Revan etc, that'd be great!
Do you guys see any details about the open world Amy Hennkng game wing revealed during E3
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Filoni saying that Rebels won't end with the Rogue One Scarif Battle
