My procedure on wheels: Inflate wing and watch risers coming up. Look up, steer to get under center of wing with slight opposite direction brake (if needed). Line up and hammer it. Just before liftoff do a quick tug equally on R/L brake and release and you kick upward for quick climb. Works every time!

I like your procedure. New setup should be here soon. I'll follow your 4 step process. 👍

@@MarcAmenson Hello Marc, I really enjoy your videos. Maybe you can assist me. I own a Kestrel v3 with the Black Devil 172 mounted to the BH light trike, the wing I have is the Core2 28m². I'm still training with my instructor and have pretty much nailed trike taxiing and at the point where I'm ready to have my 1st flight. We have hang tested my trike and we've tried getting Mike Robinson to send me a picture of how to mount my trike correctly to kestrel v3 and comfort harness. Problem I'm having, no matter where we set the hang points, or where we attach the ground handling straps, the front of the trike drops nearly a foot and a half and causing the wheel of the trike to come up last when my instructor flies my gear. How do you/your students mount the trike frame to solve for the front end dropping upon coming off the ground? I've seen other trikes take off, for instance, the adventure pluma w/black widow trike, and some drop is to be expected since the harness is supporting pilot weight, but not to the point of causing the front wheel to come up after the back wheels. Any advice would be awesome!!

@@anthonycochren2513 My Basik Kangook has a simple strap from front of harness to under the frame. It help distribute the weight. Without it, the trike can hang/droop a little. I have a strap with sewn in mark that fits on in mere moments. The length should be where you have just a couple inches slack when sitting on the frame "seat" at rest (not hanging). Perhaps yours is similar?
