Reminds me of many years ago on the Royal Canal at Robertstown, Co. Kildare (early 70’s)with the late greats, Tommy Moore, ex Pipe Sgt. Fintan Lawlor PB and John (Bisto) Keogh , Drums giving an exhibition of reels and jigs for members of Narraghmore Pipe Band who were on the barge with them. Your playing brought back happy memories, many thanks

Thanks Neil, the acoustics were really good, that High A was brilliant.

Fabulous sound! Any challenge with tuning - temp change/humidity change? I was surprised to see the back of the tunnel unscreened… loose/falling rock in the tunnel?
    Scottish tourism ambassador for sure!

No, but the barge guys did lie a wee bit they said I wouldnt get wet.. There were a couple of waterfalls! And yes, inside was damper than out,, the sound began to change as we got near the exit. Very interesting. and ty!
