Congrats 🎉 And only 3 years, it feels like you've been living in Japan for a decade 😅 I got to Korea in early 2020 And now I'm planning to head to Japan to teach next Super informative 👌 as always ❤
Hi Amber :D I'm so glad I found your video. I was working in Japan until last year and now I'm going back, but I'm trying now, not to work as a regular employee, but as a content creator / freelancer, with several jobs. So I'm trying to figure out, which visa I need and how to apply. I feel that the process you describe is pretty much the same, that I had with my regular job as full time employee. And another friend of mine, has the same or a similar visa and she is a freelancer. So I think it's nearly the same process for me. :) But anyway, glad I found your video! It's so difficult to find the correct information online.
thanks for sharing your experience getting a work visa in japan! I'm also looking at options for japanese visas so this is a helpful reference point. congrats btw on getting the visa and moving to tokyo! It must be a big change from kochi
Congratulations on getting your visa. Your video is really helpful as I am trying to change my visa from student to work visa. Did you graduated from the Japanese school before you applying on your work visa?
Not sure if you answered this in a previous video, but I'm curious how you transitioned from an eikaiwa teacher to being a student. I'm considering applying for the same company you did, but I also want to study Japanese seriously. And when you did transition, what happened to your initial work visa?
Hello! It was pretty easy actually. I just found a school I wanted to attend, went to their website and applied, and they sent me a list of everything I needed for the visa. Once I collected all the paperwork I was able to go to my local immigration office and apply for a change of visa. ^^
Congrats 🎉

This sounds super stressful, I bet it’s a huge relief to be done!
For sure a huge relief !! 😆
That sounds like a lot lmao, at least now I'll be a little more mentally prepared for all of this when the time comes.
It is roughhh haha but I hope the info is helpful! Good luck with your visa app~ ^^

Hii can you suggest me some public universities in tokyo for bba in english ?? Please 🙏🙏
I’m not sure about public, but I know Sophia University is a popular English speaking one~
Wish they made it easier to freelance 😢😢
It is rough out there for freelance 🥲
