Yes, this is true. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Movies, TV, and media is tailored to paint a picture of men as better than they are; while also degrading women. So, many movies portray the woman as being uptight, and difficult while portraying the man as boyish, laid back and fun all this while he is actually irresponsible and selfish. I am glad that women are waking up to the mind control and raising standards. Unfortunately it seems that men prefer the illusion and want to be seen as being heroic with integrity without actually having integrity or words and actions that are heroic.
This is exactly why many dark secrets these men have been hiding in the back burner for decades are being revealed one by one nowadays.

Lots of anime has male power fantasy, this contributes to the glorification of men. Little girls (not in all cases of course but) watching media that mostly comprises of women being helpless and in need of protection from a men subconsciously induces learned helplessness in gals. “If that’s the norm then I guess I’ll just fill that role.” some anime fans idealized version of a woman is a stereotypical woman seen in from anime. On the other end of the spectrum, gals in anime are depicted to be unreasonable as hell and too emotional to make the right call. How women are portrayed in anime is internalized in both genders whether they realized or not.

I watched an old movie from 1946 yesterday called, “Till The End of Time” where 4 guys come home from WWII with problems. It was such gaslighting. These guys started acting up, but they eventually “changed” and became good men. That just doesn’t happen in real life. The male experiences one setback, and they give up. They start abooosing the women around them and ride the women through life like a mule.

I believe I heard that male dolphins stalk a grape female dolphins...I think sharks or orcas do to. My mind was blown because I thought dolphins were gentle creatures. There was literally just a story that came out about how the male angler fish latches and darn near melts into to the female angler fish when he finds one. Oh my gosh this is so true! My friends are women, I prefer talking with them, and I like doing things women do. I've never been serious friends with men. Movies and romantic songs groomed me to like them. BUT, I did/do find a lot of them looked physically cute and attractive. I'm very independent so I didn't need them to do things for me. My liking of them is mostly superficial and I was groomed to like them.

This is what I also realized some years ago. That's why I like Shrek so much. The orge changes for the woman he wants (maybe it's not the best he can do but he's one male character that adjusted to accommodate another person instead of the onus being on Fiona). And we see the villains have a life, not just stains that need to be stamped out. Also, the princess isn't just a perfect skinny girl, she has her "flaws" . We also see what Disney doesn't show, the "forever after", how the in-laws react, external and internal issues threatening to ruin the relationship and the baby issues.
But there’s no equivalent for young boys when it comes to Disney films.

Idealize the type of man you want, check to see if they exist if so also check what it is these men want in a woman then become that woman.
@h8h215 I usually just see what qualities I like in men and embody certain of those qualities that women can also have. The men women want (we also have to be realistic about what it is we want) do exist, women need to stop telling themselves that they don't or they'll never find what they're looking for. I watch these videos for insights to keep an eye out for more red flags I haven't encountered before, but seeing women now just completely shut down and try to get other women to do the same is a little sad. We were created to balance each other out, to compliment the different properties in one another, but over the course of years, everything has gotten muddled. Women are the rule makers, the home creators, the peace makers. Men are supposed to be protectors, the enforcers of the rules women make. Patriarchy has destroyed that, but the scales will be balanced again. I just dont like that these videos are basically telling women to either be single or turn lesbian

Are you a mother figure?(Mother figures look for men who are Father figures) Are you family oriented? Are you humble? Are you confident? Are you emotionally intelligent?
Then it goes off into certain aspects of life too. Are you financially stable? Do you have your own car your own place to lay your head down? Can YOU provide for yourself? You want a man who makes 6 figures, but do YOU make 6 figures? Embody those qualities that you want first before trying to seek it out in someone else. Can you cook?Can you clean? Do you know how to wash clothes? How do you expect someone to help you around the house if you do even help yourself? Do you love yourself? Do you know your self-worth? How do you expect a man to love you if you don't know HOW you want to be loved? You want someone to pamper you, but do you pamper yourself? You expect a man to treat you like a queen but do you act like one? Do you take yourself out to fancy restaurants? How do you expect a man to drop 300-400$ on a date if you don't even give YOURSELF this type of treatment? Women have become to entitled to things without even looking within first. Are you educated? Are you street/book smart? How do you expect a man to be these things if you are not these things?
Ask yourself am I worthy to have these things. If you are then you embody these things FIRST before you expect a man to come put you back together. You do not go into a relationship expecting someone to treat you right if you can't even treat yourself right first. Partners ADD to what you have already built, and you ADD to what the man has built not expect him to build you up or vise versa. Do you get what I'm saying? Write down the TRAITS you want a man to have and look at those and see if you can match SOME of those traits that a woman can also have. You want a man to be a protector, but what would he be protecting if you are not a woman worthy of being protected? Men protect what they cherish. Men respect women who respect themselves.
Once you learn to treat yourself the way you want to be treated. The men you want will come to you that will treat you that way. There are a lot of good men out there but women want these fuck boys/bad boys. They have the "Oh I can fix him. He will change" mentality when it comes to men instead of "how can we help each other? How can we grow together?"

MEANING are you emotionally intelligent? Are you stable mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally? Do you respect yourself? If not, how do you expect a man/woman to respect you? Do you love yourself? If not, how do you expect a man/woman to love you if you don't even know HOW you want to be loved on. Are you looking for someone who is family oriented? Are you even a family oriented person? Do you like kids etc etc. A mother figure looks for father figures. Do you catch my drift?
I'm not saying become a man or become a woman. If you dress a certain way you'd want your man or woman to match your esthetic. If you dress academic style you'd want your partner to either be similar or exactly the same. Are you healthy? If not how do you expect your man or woman to be the same?

There are good guys out there. Some of these videos are a little harsh on all men and I think that’s a bit unfair.

There is a difference between buying into a fantasy, happily ever after, fairytale type relationship with a man and looking to build a future with an equally yoked man who you realize is human.
