Do you use the regular polygel base coat when putting on the tips? I'm new to polygel & have only used my kit once but I also have the tips I want to try out & wasn't sure if the base coat worked just like a glue to keep them on
Hi! So I use base coat to glue on my tips because I first put on a peel off base coat. This is only because I take the nails off after I’m done. So regular nail glue doesn’t stick to the peel off base, that’s why I use base coat. If you want your nails to last, I would recommend using regular nail glue. My favorite brand of glue is from KDS on Amazon
hi there! I’ve just started learning how to do acrylics, but I still live at home and my parents absolutely cannot stand the smell, so I’m going to try out poly gel! This is exactly the way I want to try it, doing it similar to acrylic because I have some experience, whereas other videos, people do it other way. I just have one question though! Do you use alcohol to spread it? If so, does it matter which one? I would like to know before I order thank you!

How do I clean the poly gel off the brush when it get sticky and how do I clean it of the spatula after scooping the extra off??
Paper towel and rubbing alcohol, for both
@@melsnailsasmr thanks I did that but my brush seems to get kinda stiff when I’m done like it still works good once I dip it and wipe it a few times

Hi! I use 91% isopropyl alcohol as my slip solution. That one works best for me. I usually get mine from target.
