Yes Arsenal need to strengthen but to think Spurs has a better squad depth is ridiculous. If Spurs loses just Kane and Son to injuries they are finished. Conte had already complained multiple times this season about lack of squad depth despite having Kane and Son. If he loses those two, he lose his head and probably walk.

I’m not even focused on winning the league at the moment, as a fan I’m just taking it game by game and I am just so happy that we have turned a corner and got out the mud. We’re finally playing great football, defending well, whilst seeing the players actually play for the shirt. The whole club and the fans are connected on this journey and that’s the most important thing.

This team has never fought for the championship but last year they've fought for top 4 til the last day. That's the same type of fight. The difference between a top 4 fight and a title fight is consistency. The need to respond etc is the same

Arsenal were not poor in all areas of the game against PSV and I just don't understand why the media is stock on that notion without them not showing the stats. Arsenal had more possession in the game, Arsenal created more chances, Arsenal had more shot on terget and, Arsenal controlled the game more than PSV. The only area that Arsenal was poor in, is putting the ball in the net. The only reason why Arsenal lost that game, is because they went to play for a point instead of trying to win it.
Going into the season it was just about getting into the CL(top 4 or Europa League win), but circumstances have changed now. No PL team has failed to finish in the top 4 after getting 28 pts from the first 11 matches so we really should rethink our objectives.
The Thursday - Sunday routine we have had in October is basically going to continue till the end of the season (unless we're out of the cups early, of course which is not the desired outcome) so we definitely need to add some quality depth to our squad.

when analysing the loss to PSV is you need to consider lack of motivation to give 100% in a mid-week game you dont need to win. arsenal can still easily win their europa league group and players dont want to burn themselves out in that sort of game when they are more focussed on the next premier league fixture

Let’s look at the facts.
Arteta has finished in 8th, 8th and 5th the last 3 seasons. It’s not like they’ve been pushing at the top and would’ve been a likely contender before the season started.
It would be the same if Spurs was on top playing brilliantly under Conte, yes they’re on top and playing well, but it takes more than having a good 12 games for people to start taking you seriously as a title contender.
People aren’t disrespecting Arsenal, they just aren’t being sensationalist and putting them in the same conversation as City.

We have Elneny ESR coming back, we have blooded a lot of players who would not have had minutes if these 2 were fit. Sure Eddie hasn’t been scoring which is a worry as he has looked weak in some games, it would be nice to have a more solid Party back up but I’m sure we can see the season out with who we have, we will look at players in the World Cup in but unless real quality becomes available in the market were not that worried about signing anyone.

The thing with the current Arsenal is the players aren't going to get worse. They're getting better. Saka is the real deal. Martinelli is the real deal. Odegard is the real deal. etc.... They have a lot of players that at the very least, are good players you won't easily be able to upgrade. In the past it wasn't like that.

I think there are obvious concerns that can't be ignored in the depth and quality of the squad, which is exposed in compressed game fixtures. We are heavily reliant on a particular set up which involves a few key players. We just need to add to our squad.
