When things were at their very worst:
2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy.
The first sign - the Earth will spin faster.
The second sign concerns the sun, which will loom larger, brighter and begin to spin.
Scientists will say it was a global illusion.
Beaware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again.
After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way.
Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet
      - will seem to rise from the dead
      - will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one.
One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist.
Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent.
      - banking collapse was deliberately masterminded by the Antichrist
      - Antichrist will step in and create a false peace in the state of Israel by joining them with palestine in an unlikely alliance.
      - „He will recite extracts from My Teachings, which he will passionately proclaim from every secular stage in the world, until people sit up and take notice of him.“

for those watching, Mike didn't go too deep into this part but the best way to protect the tree and make sure it survives is to plug up the hole after you're done using it! Use some wood from the tree itself, maybe a branch that's fallen off, strip it of bark, and hammer it back into the hole.

    • @MathasiaJ
      @MathasiaJ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +133

@@itsmanzr7004 you should *absolutely* plug the hole. The reason being that if left to its own devices the tree will scar itself, and the resulting tissue will not pass water and nutrients through the tree properly. This is especially important if you accidentally drill too deep into the tree trunk, because if the core of the tree scars, then the branches of the tree can wither. Plugging the tap hole ensures that there is standard plant tissue inside the space, so the tree rebuilds itself safely without the chance for scarring.

Hey guys! First off I love the video and your channel but I wanted to share some important advice I have learned from my survival school (The Tracker School) regarding this method particularly on the tree and the drinkers safety. Not only is this method absolutely viable and effective, there are actually a few trees that have the ability to give you fresh water during this time of year. Birch is obviously one, but also Maple, Sycamore, Walnut etc. although Birch and Maple tend to taste the best. Something to note that’s important is for the trees whose sap has more sugar (such as maple) the water will not store for more than a day or two as without refrigeration as it will get bacteria FAST and you can get sick, Birch I believe keeps a little bit longer, but you should still really try and drink it sooner rather than later . Second I love the advice you gave about warning of the dangers to the tree, something else I’d like to add on the subject is that when selecting a tree you are limited as to how many taps you can make before you kill the tree. If it’s a one foot diameter tree you can only have one tap if it’s two to three feet in diameter you can have up to two. It’s also worth noting that you shouldn’t just let it drain constantly but give it a break after getting one liter or so. When you’re done make sure you plug the hole with a hardwood plug and try and cover the outside of it with mud. This will help protect the tree from bacteria and pests while it heals. The water you get from these trees also have huuuge amounts of vitamins, calories, and nutrients and they are amazing in a survival situation and you really should only use this method when there is no other means of water or if you can effectively heal the tree afterwards. Some other methods of getting fresh water are sphagnum moss, as well as dew, you can also dig a couple of feet in from a water source to access ground water that is partially filtered although you still need to purify it. Anyway great video, I just wanted to share some advice on the method and ways to keep the tree safe haha. Can’t wait for more if your stuff!

i want to also mention for anyone who was interested enough to read your comment, birch water contains a large amount of manganese and the limit is 11mg per day for an adult, that means 1l a day of birch sap/water contains your daily manganese intake and you should be weary of drinking more. children should drink no more than 300ml a day
Further, those with asprin(salicylate) allergies should also stay away as birch sap contains small amounts of Salicylates although not as much as the twigs and bark. Methyl Salicylate is essentially apsrin and also falls in vapour from the plant in a sort of tree to tree communication network via the wind, and crazily enough people with asprin allergies have died just living near a batch of birch trees as its slowly poisoned them over time with vapour.

  • @bungalo50

Quebecois here. Maple sap is basically the same thing but you gotta help yourself with the weather since the sap is thicker due to more sugar content. Ideally you'd have just below freezing in the night to get the sap to slightly expand the tree and warm weather in the day to get it to flow. It really is amazing how cold fresh tree-water is. Once travel becomes easy again you have to come to Quebec and make a follow-up vid on how to collect sap AND boil it into syrup! BTW there are many different ways to collect sap without actually hurting the tree in the long run IDK about birch but maples are fairly tough trees

I remember learning this in the scouts back in the day, never actually tried it, another odd survival took if you’re going out on a couple day hike and camping, is to take a bag of monkey nuts with you, not only are the nuts high in energy, but the shells can also be used if you can’t find dry fuel to boil water, because if there high oil content the shells burn hot and for a long time

Hey Mike! Thanks for another great video. I wish you would have done a little more explaining on how best not to harm the tree if you decide to start tapping rather then just saying it may harm the tree. For anyone wanting to try this here's a few more pointers. The bigger the tree the more likely it is to survive. I personally don't tap anything smaller then 10 inches in diameter and have never had a tree die. Also (at least here in Canada) birches only produce water during a certain time in the spring after the frost thaws and only produce for 2-3 weeks so don't go hack into a tree in the middle of summer expecting a lot of water. There's lots of info on the web about birch tapping so do your research before you try!

Every year I tap maple trees and make maple syrup. It takes a long time to collect it and you have to boil down 97% of the water in the sap to get syrup. It took me 5 hours straight of boiling to just get half a jar of syrup out of five gallons of sap.
