you can just play Knightmare Unicorn instead as your IP target, although is not nearly as versatile nor powerful as SP but at least it does a similar function
I’ve been playing this deck for a year now and opening a twin is one of the strongest reasons to play this variant. 6 ns is a bit lacking to me. I think that 8 is always the correct number for this deck. Also drawing one of each makes u play through handtraps on the twin without having to commit to gigantic, making it much much stronger. And for a runick variant nine non engine is a bit too much. Usually u wanna settle on 5-7 at most. Yes is a low number but it is what u r signing off when playing a runick variant. U don’t want to see more that one and for that I’ve been playing 6 consistently now in all runick variants except the plunder one in which I play 8. U obviously can go up to 9 and 10 but always post side and when u know u r going second and having a 6th card in hand, ensuring u open enough engine, bc u usually need 4-5 pieces of engine to slash through ht properly.
Agree. Always when i dont open a twin. My hand feels so bad. At times even unplayable cause you miss alot of gas and versatility. I tested runicks tho and didnt like it so reverted to twin spright with HTs. I play 11 twins. 3 lilla 3 kis 1 frost 1 treat 3 snitch
@@Niklas73707 Been testing for a month or so now and I still like the runick variant more. Yes, the pure spright runs way more non engine but it also runs way more bricks. If you put in the work and study the matchups in depth, the runick variant is better. Also it’s gonna be better once fuwaros releases bc u end on fountain and I:p into sp only giving 2 draws at max, 1 if they shotgun it.
Been playing this deck for a while before I switch to the Nimble version, with the new lv2 Ice Barrier mons, this deck now can SS Toadally Awesome, which is an omni. And you can SS it back from GY with Double Cross

I tried runick in twins spright and did not like it one bit. Some people say i suck which can be true but i feel handtraps are more versatile than the runick cards
Question for you. Do you think running crossout or forbidden droplets would be a good substitute for triple tactics instead? Also would bumping Live Twin Ki-sikil to 2?
Hell no. Tactics is a unique card that provides alot of versatility. Also more twins. People frown upon cause you just need 1 to start the whole engine. But you can test for yourself
@jangaman7823 I've been kinda running with 3 lil la, 2 ki sikil, 1 frost, and 1 sunny Snitch so far if that seems like a good ratio. Also figured I'd ask since truth be told I've never used talents before but I might consider getting a play set then
