Weird. I’ve rarely ran into Havel monsters at 150. A lot of Catarina thicc bois but only 1 or two havel users. It’s a lot of high level pyromancers.
You get more havel's around 300 or 250

I just got a PSPlus account finally and I've been trying my hand at DS3 PvP since I had gotten into it so much with DS2 (Blue Flame sorcery build with Heavy Homing Soul Arrow roll catches ftw), and I really freaking admire you. Not just for your skill, but just for how you're able to let the things that make me salty just roll off your back. It seems like it's really an essential skill for enjoying any competitive game really and it's something that I'm trying to build up within myself. It is a freaking tough road, though, although I might be doing it wrong since I just took my level 146 Dex character into the PvP with no real modifications, and even you seem to get saltier at that soul level range, so I dunno maybe I'm subjecting myself to a greater hell than I should be.
Even so I've gotten some solid wins with my Farron GS + offhand Dagger combo. Having the regular dagger to switch to for an easier time roll catching has really helped me have a game that's different to other Farron GS users, and I think people not expecting the dagger has really helped, since most people just L1 until the end of time. But my point was, thanks for inspiring me to become the type of person who can let the salt slide off. I'll get there someday. :)
Damn that first phantom to die has exactly the same setup I me (brass armor set and profaned great sword) I got scared that I was just rekt on stream.

Would love to see a Dancer's Enchanted Swords invasion build. I've been messing around with them and they are very good, especially if you are good at spacing. The L1 staggers like a greatsword, and roll catches for days.

Nope, he somehow pulled off Crow Quills WA. Similar jump, but different. It looked like he had a 2H'd straight sword moveset, but a completely different WA. Probably the result of some INSANE lag and lost packets.

Havel set has surprisingly low defence (not naked low just lower than you would think) but it does have highest poise which is arguably more important

This is what I play as a sl 150 dark build: a four prong plow or lothric war banner as my main and lothric ss offhand. Simple Cestus and crossbow. lloyds sword swapped out for hornet, fap, prisoners chains and leo. It's filthy and use it in try hard duels. I'm ashamed to admit I even throw bk sheild in the mix too. Love your vids and how versatile the dark build is. Shit I forgot to mention fillianores chime for TOD and the legendary chaos dagger
Also hoping to keep the game alive as long as possible as I'm relatively new with the pvp. So thanks to content creators like you 🙏😀 I saw a dude named chase is my senpai yesterday and he gave me a good duel👍
I feel the exact same about vestiges, too many people use it, and every gank squad had at least one person who only knows two things, spam sorceries, spam vestiges. It's the most cancerous thing you can do, spam that bs rasen shuriken

True, but nothing's more casual than Fallen knight Set/ Farron MemeSword/Shield of Want.
"Full Havel's" isn't in reference to the weapon/shield, just the armor set, Moon. That said, those that use the Dark Blade + Havel's shield on top of full Havel's is the epitome of "casul"

Hey chasethebro im watching your vids for a while now and wanted to ask you what a good pvp build for starter is i just finished my first playthrough and im thinking about a farron greatsword build but i dont know if that build would be good.
I just got into the PvP myself with the Farron GS and I'm finding that the majority of the people I fight seem to know me better than I know myself, probably because it's such a common weapon. I've tried my best to switch things up with an offhand Dagger, so I can swap from the Farron's dagger to a normal Dagger for some slightly faster attacks that my enemies don't always see coming. It's much better for punishing poor spacing and roll catching than the GS, at the very least. And it gives me a break from that deliciously fun L1 attack so my opponents get a little more skittish not always knowing what my next move will be.
I wouldn't recommend Farron GS unless you can't see yourself having fun with any other weapon. It's been kind of a tough road.

Doesn't 150 go up to like level 255? Probably explain why you got so many. I mean, I invaded a world on my level 150 got one shot instantly. Moved to my 420 character and invaded the same guy while he was on that same character.
