If you think about it, it’s quite scary that a Psychiatrist dares to diagnose someone based only on their looks, movies, and if they like to eat candy. Dr. Spiegel is out of his mind, can’t believe he’s an expert, it’s mind boggling.
I think that it is reasonable to give an expert opinion based on whether someone use an earpiece to be feed scripts or resite lines from their memory. It's a piece of a puzzle when you are profiling someone
Lets give Alejandro a round of applause for having the guts to commit a traffic violation while giving his deposition. That dude didnt even bother putting on his seatbelt when he started driving.
It was shortly after Alejandro Romero started driving off that his part was over. It was the judge's reaction after the jury left out of the courtroom that had me laughing. She'd never experienced a witness like him before. She was speechless.

How is dr shannon curry not in this memorable list at depp vs heard trial? She was so articulate she turned a cross examination from the opposing lawyer into essential a comedy sketch you wouldn't believe really happened if it wasn't broadcasted live.
The psychiatrist testifying on the behalf of amber heard reminds me 100% of my brother who is a psychologist. they are both most likely insane but yet are doctors of mental health go figure.
@wioi I've heard that psychology is a common job field people struggling with mental health will seek out to try and understand their condition better. As is the obvious, not all mental health conditions are the same. So while for some this ends up being a great help for both them and the patients under their care, for others it's a nightmare.
Amber’s case relied solely on her testimony being believed. She had nothing else. Her photos were obviously doctored; she didn’t hand over her devices for forensic analysis; her sister’s account didn’t correspond with hers; her witnesses all said they had never seen JD hit her despite her accounts of him being a monster when impaired; and all the audio tapes showed her being aggressive and demanding and JD being averse to conflict. Even then her stories made no sense. When Camille asked if she was worried about the “monster”, she said “why would I?”
“ Objection, hearsay! “ Became the running joke during any stories at my house during the trials. ANYTHING we say about each other was hit with a quick ” OBJECTION, HEARSAY your honor! “😂💀
Johnny Depps whole trial was iconic, so many memorable witnesses And Dr Martin Tobin’s testimony was honestly so incredible, articulately detailed but kept simple for all us nun-medical people.. he was teaching us all so much and honestly he was breathtaking on the stand and he did it completely for free ❤️
Not only was Dr. Tobin’s testimony for the prosecution extremely convincing, the defense expert’s testimony was disturbing - the outcry from physician peers led to an audit of 1300 “in custody” death reports performed while he (Dr. Fowler) ran Maryland’s ME office, and it was recommended that approx 100 of the audited cases be reinvestigated.
Ridiculous. Tobin wasn't convincing to anyone other than those who were looking to convict Chauvin no matter what. The retaliation from the ME community highlights another reason why Chauvin couldn't get a fair trial. The Hennepin County ME was threatened to change his autopsy findings, and the state's expert was retaliated against. Tobin just made an overdose a murder because it helped his politics
Dominique Jones has to be one of the rudest, nastiest, dishonest, and entitled witnesses I have ever seen.
