  • I built this fuel tank a few years back and just recently decided to finish and install it in my truck. Im using a gravity fed system with an electric solenoid to control the flow of fuel from my auxiliary tank to the stock tank on my truck. Makes it pretty nice for those extended trips when you don't want to stop or fuel is pricey in a certain area.
If you are interested in doing something similar on your truck, here are a couple of the parts I used in my build that would work on most other tanks.
    Electric solenoid: amzn.to/3DilVL3
    Push button switch: amzn.to/3iFfcBl
1/4" Weld in bungs (aluminum): amzn.to/3iYacrX
1/4" Weld in bungs (steel): amzn.to/3DfhCjH
Filler Cap and neck (aluminum, the one used in this video): amzn.to/3IDSyUE
Locking & Vented Filler Cap (Ive used this on other builds. Use with a 2" weld in pipe flange) amzn.to/3ILWWB5
Weld in fittings for Filler Cap listed above --
    Aluminum: amzn.to/3Dvdcpb
Steel (cut one end of and weld on): amzn.to/36zrA3w
    Roll over vent valve: amzn.to/3qFB6cj
