I said it once, and I'll say it again. They should've had it on gamepass. They would've had a boost in people playing. When i first played it when it was free for a weekend on xbox the lobbies were packed. Seeing that the developers shouldve made a choice to put it on gamepass that way once they built a more loyal fanbase they couldve taken it off. Or stay on. That is how dbd is. Its free on console so theyll always have a player base. And if they ever decide to take it off people who are loyal to the game will buy it
I will see you in the next one" is such a releif to hear. Whatever you decide to do, Ill remain watching and supporting. Came for DI, stayed for glitch
Deceive going in limbo isn't surprising, the writing was on the wall for a while now, but the studio disbanding? I was waiting to see how'd they bounce off Deceive and make something with many lessons learned, but alas...
Back when Deceive Inc became free and i started playing your character guides really helped me out :) Watched basically every video since so thx for the content and ill be looking forward to other games on this channel :)
Glitch I'm sorry how this game turned out and we all know how much effort you put into your videos. I want to thank you for everything. You are one of the best players and a great teacher. I learned a lot from your videos. We'll see how the situation develops. Maybe when they shut down the servers they'll put some singleplayer mod in the game where you can only play against bots and maybe they'll leave private lobbies. Anyway, have a great new year and I wish you a wonderful Christmas.
I said since start of the year that the fact that game lasted another year was a miracle. We enjoyed it, sadly the game never had enough players to shine.
I just want you to know that your videos on DI are the express reason why I started playing. The concept of the game intrigued me when I first heard of it and I grabbed it on sale but never installed it until your videos came across my feed. I’ll keep watching if you feel like doing Marvel Rivals, Deadlock, whatever; your videos are fun to watch. If you build it, they will come, etc. Offer stands to do some Helldives as well if you like Helldivers.
Thanks for everything you've done, man. Your content has been huge for the community and I know I've sent at least a handful of new players your way to learn about the game. I hope that you find your niche again, if you want to continue producing content. It's been mentioned a lot, but a whole lot of the Deceive veterans have signed up to try Thick as Thieves when it comes around.
Took a bit of a long break on DI, and wanted to say I feel I miss something, but can't tell what really remembers the game - gameplay itself or community. I will miss DI, we stay strong yet ready to face it's end. I really hope I'll buy a new laptop to enjoy the game before it closes, but this project is the first "fast" pvp shooter I've ever played and liked it a lot. Also people here aren't common, really!..
I'm a bit late to the party but I will share my thoughts: -The YT guide videos you did is how I found out about you. So from my end it was good for your channels health. -Marvel Rivals is quite hyped up right now so if you enjoy playing it then maybe it's fate? New year, new game, new you, maybe worth taking a leap of faith and giving it a test run? -Streaming DBD is maybe good for short term until you come up with something else imo. The game is 8 years old so the amount of DBD streamers by now is massive and since you haven't even bought the game I can assume that you never played it. And if there is something DBD is known for is the absurd amount of hours you need to play just to become decent and its infinite grind for perks, characters, items etc... And I don't know making a long term commitment to an 8 year old game feels weird to me. To clarify I'm not saying the game is dying (it's not even close to that) but that there should be better options for you out there atm. -Deadlock might be a good streaming game and you can just upload highlights to YT. -A game I'm enjoying a lot at the moment is Helldivers 2 though I'm not sure how good that will be for the channel tbh haha. But hey if you upload it I will watch for sure! -I hope to still see you upload deceive videos from time to time, like a once a month maybe? I will definitely watch. -See you in the upcoming Deceive stream!
Thank you so much Glitch for all the videos for so long. They have genuinely made my day better with each one (slightly parasocial but let’s ignore that). But yeah in all seriousness man, thank you. Truly. Cool anyway happy Christmas byeeeeeeeee
Hey glitch, it was really disappointing to hear that deceive's future was uncertain. Though as you said in this video and over many others while playing the game, you had to take a couple of breaks and your drive for the game has been going down for a while. At the end of the day you are a likeable guy. You support the communities you involve yourself in and help others along the way. Those are amazing traits that you should be proud of and you deserve to do whatever it is you enjoy. Whether that is making content or not, even if it has nothing to do with videogames we will be here to support you. If you do enjoy making content I would be over the moon but it's ultimately up to you to decide if it's something you enjoy. Whatever you decide, the people and community you will move onto next don't know how lucky they are having you there. I'll be there for next livestream. Until then, I will see you in the next one.
I've played the game for a bit and loved it. What demotivated me from playing was the "noobstomping" while i was learning the game. The players who were level 500 kept showing up and dominate lobbys, and after a few weeks of trying a few games a day and in all but a few games barely getting to play the game .., it shun me away.
I’d at least hope that Deceive somehow gets some single player/local support. The art style and gameplay is so unique and I would hate to have it sitting in my library to collect dust. Seeing the Thick as Thieves announcement at the Game Awards gives me a little hope, so if anything I’d love to see you make content on that! Best of luck and thank you for all the awesome content.
Hey man I’m so sad right now because of the news of the game I play the game every now and then but I genuinely enjoyed watching you when you play this master piece of a game that has a wonderful a unique concept. I hope you never give up the role and oh put out into the community you have a lot of fans and I am one of them. You’re an awesome guy that is dedicated to his interests and always want to help others. You are one of my favourite content creators that I enjoy watching. If you do continue dead by daylight is a great choice I will definitely tune in to your videos. At the end of the day it comes down to your choice but I just want you to know we love you and we don’t want you to leave I get it if you do though. Have a good one man your awesome I hope to see you again Love you, you GLITCH KING
Damn shame. I don't know why this game wasn't more popular, a ton of big channels played it, the videos got tons of views, but at the end of the day barely anyone who actually watched the game bought it, despite clearly enjoying watching it. I suppose people are just scared to commit to games nowadays unless they're something that has *"IT",* whatever *"IT"* is. The feeling that it's a big game, a certain inexplicable presence that decides whether or not a game lives or dies that can't be reliably designed. And then when the game has less than a million players, it's proclaimed as dead and everyone suddenly leaves. Loyalty and patience are both dead at large, it seems. That being said, I'd be down to watch you play just about anything, whether it's Marvel Rivals or Deadlock (suggesting these as examples of games that you've played in the past).
I have enjoyed your stuff since your early things on device. And I am sure anything you go to would be great as long as you enjoy it. All depends on what you like and I wish you the best for it and will stick around. Broad list of suggestions; Marvel Rivals still, Supervive, Stardew Valley, Sun Haven, Dead by Daylight, and even something like Project Zomboid. Good luck with it all and I’ll be here to see
Have you seen the trailer for "thick as thieves"? i think that game might be right up your alley, maybe to early to say, but maybe you can get into contact with one of those peoples and work some kind of magic, you do have the followers
Thick as thieves seems really cool, I've applied for their playtest through the normal means but I might reach out independently and try to play my "I'm a special boy" card 🤣 The biggest issue with thick as thieves is there's currently no release date
I really hope somehow we can get the ability to host a server locally, just so we can keep playing with friends. It would be a shame to just never be able to play deceive inc again. . .
This game I just jumped on and I enjoy the concept. They should have added different game modes. A mode where you don’t have weapons and only abilities and you have a separate team of security trying to stop the other team would be fun
You can try Marvel Rivals, its a new game and there is no real set youtuber of it yet. If you can find a main to specialize and be idk, the captain america guy you can get pretty recognized too
No I'm not stuck on multiplayer only, but I also don't think "lets play" style videos are my thing, so for any single player game I'd ideally have a start and end point in the same video, for example if I was doing Slay the Spire a video could contain 1 run, but I could make a lot of videos with a lot of different runs / goals / builds etc. Hope this makes sense!
Here are some of my game recommendations (no particular order): 1. Marvel Rivals 2. Helldivers 2 3. Thick as Thieves (not released yet) 4. tf2 5. Phasmophobia 6. The Long Dark (survival game, no "missions") 7. Deep Rock Galactic I'm sure there's plenty more, there's also a ton of story rich games I can recommend, but if you want more "mission" type games kinda like DI, then I would say any of these :) and also take your time to figure out what to do with your channel, Happy Holidays!
The Long Dark would be an interesting experiment, it's the kinda game where you cant really tell if it's a good fit for a channel until a video is made about it. I would like more gameplay of the difficulties that still have things like the firearms in them if he did that, since most people play Interloper and thus guns never get shown off.
I think that if the game was free to play it would attract so much more players, and it sucks that even tho the game is paid there is more paid stuff in the game
More players does not mean more money for the devs. I talk about it a bit in my "Borrowed Time" Sasori video, and there's a pinned message about it in the official DI discord if you want more info.
I recommend Monster Hunter, it is challenging yes but quite rewording once you learn it and 1 or 2 hunts a vid could be a good length for a vid, unless u happen on a long hunt as it do happen sometimes. Also has extra keys if your interested.
Excellent suggestions! I love MH: World and Rise, I probably have almost 1000 hours in those games combined. I'm really excited for Wilds I've tried to remain in the dark about it as much as possible. I don't think its something I'd make videos on, but I can certainly see myself streaming it!
I really think this game had good potential. Sad it didn't catch on more
I said it once, and I'll say it again. They should've had it on gamepass. They would've had a boost in people playing. When i first played it when it was free for a weekend on xbox the lobbies were packed. Thank you so much! I hope it remains playable, with private servers or something. Have a great new year and happy holidays to you as well!

thick as thieves maybe whenever that is released similar concept i suppose

Some others said this as well but Thick as Thieves seems up your alley, but I heard it wont release until 2026.
Really sad 😭 I can't imagine di being shut down 😭😭 It had so much potential. Hopefully that new game thick as thieves is pretty good 🤞
I loved this game so much it’s tragic that this game didn’t get that much attention
Damn shame. Looking forward to whatever else you do. Hope you enjoy the streams.
it's a real shame to see this game go. I hope the devs well on their future prospects
Well at least I found this channel and saw cool moments from looking up deceive inc, so at least there is one good thing.
I have enjoyed your stuff since your early things on device. And I am sure anything you go to would be great as long as you enjoy it. Love ya, glitch. Stay strong.

Thank you my friend you all of deceive content
Can't wait for controller and DbD stream!
Here's also some recommendations if you ever wanna do variety:
- Phasmophobia
- Hollow Knight
- ZZZ
I really hope somehow we can get the ability to host a server locally, just so we can keep playing with friends. It would be a shame to just never be able to play deceive inc again. . .
This game I just jumped on and I enjoy the concept. They should have added different game modes. A mode where you don’t have weapons and only abilities and you have a separate team of security trying to stop the other team would be fun
I'll follow you anywhere.
Excited for the DBD stream, what happened with the bitrate in this video?
I don't know, I didn't do anything different, but something happened clearly
I'm sad they are doing this to the game, it was so good 😢
sad 😢
just started this week
and love the game so far
It will still be around for a while! Just no new content will be added
Haven't watched you for a while. Got surprised by your new mic (as far as I understand), you sound so different :D
Thanks for stopping back in! It does sound very different, but I think its better.
You can try Marvel Rivals, its a new game and there is no real set youtuber of it yet.
If you can find a main to specialize and be idk, the captain america guy you can get pretty recognized too
Do you wish to make content only on multiplayer games?

not sure if this helps, but Dead By Daylight is on Gamepass, if you dont feel like buying it.
Here are some of my game recommendations (no particular order):
1. Marvel Rivals
2. Helldivers 2
3. Thick as Thieves (not released yet)
4. tf2
