Sad that someone who comes to Sapere Aude blind without any background would think that was it, Paxel was the end. My suggestion is to completely ignore the second season and look to fan fiction or your own imagination for scenarios to reconnect the boys after the fight.
I miss Merli, one of the best gay storylines written, Bruno and Pol were brilliant, natural chemistry, exploding passions.......the supporting cast was wonderful........ thank you for this beautiful video!
I love that it starts with Bruno looking at Pol all the time and by the end, it's just Pol making heart eyes at Bruno. Such a lovely video that I've watched so many times. Thank you thank you thank you!
I noticed that in that final segment when they jumped 7 years. Pol had the longest journey of any character. Going from the straight guy who doesn't fall in love, to being bisexual and not falling in love, to whatever he is and able to love. It's just a shame that as viewers we weren't able to see that go full circle when he realized that Bruno was the one.
It's clear in S2, E12 that Bruno is the love of Pol's life. After saying goodbye as Bruno leaves for Rome, Pol is totally R-E-K-T. You don't get that broken up saying goodbye to someone who's just a friend. Yes, it takes Pol a long time to figure things out, but that makes the ending (the 7 years after high school graduation) all the more touching.

I have watched this whole series and I was very impressed with the actors and the acting. The story line is so true for so many. Great series and great actors. I hope them much success in their careers they are the best.
Bruno IS Pol's first and only (given that they get married) love. Tanya was never a person he was truly in love with, he had already opened his heart to the idea of love thanks to Bruno but he wasn't ready to admit he felt that way for a guy yet, Tanya was the first person to come along after that who was an 'easy way out' because she was a girl and she was different from his usual conquests. As soon as bruno was an option once again Pol was already second guessing his feelings. Loved this video the editing is amazing
I definitely disagree i think it's the other way around actually besides he became more open to the idea of love after merli has talked to him about it and that master and slave talk

Yeah, MSA definitely did them dirty. At the end of the day though, nothing they did in MSA changes the outcome for the boys. MSA is just a poorly told and incomplete middle chapter.
I honestly didn't bother to watch Merli Sapere Aude because its still a prequel of Merli... in the end they got married so I'm not even gonna bother watching Pol date other people during college.
4:25 he goes to them both but then we see bruno.. he chooses him. I don't know if it was your idea but this exact moment with this exact music is perfect. so is the video ♥️ I rewatched it already about 6 times, four of them before starting show, which I started BECAUSE of this video.. @@clavilon Not really a popular take, but I do like that they effectively split them up to an extent at the end of S1 of Sapere Aude. It gave both the needed opportunity to learn, experience, grow, and gain perspective for that moment they do reconnect.

It would be cool to see them do the intended third season that brings everything full circle. Sadly, I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe at some point Lozano will commit the rest of the story to paper. His vision of how they kissed and made up, what Bruno did during those years, Pol's self discovery and realization about Bruno, how the Axel relationship went turned to dust, and ultimately how they came back together. Until that happens, we have to come up with our own story.

I’m so damn fucking happy that Bruno and Pol had a happy ending and that through all the pain they suffered in that past at long last they are ready to start a future together.
We know that Bruno has always seen Pol as the one. It would have been cool to see on screen when Pol came to that conclusion about Bruno in the gap between college and what we see at the very end of Merli.
What I wouldn't give to feel that butterflies in your stomach when I look at you, can't stop thinking about you feeling again. Even for a short time it would be blissful.
yeah it promised a lot but it was very dissapointing, I don't mind if the spin-off is more focused on Pol and his university years but they way they treated Bruno was a big no from me
@@somosinevitables Yeah, wasn't a fan of some of the choices they made. Really a shame that they didn't give David good material to work with. I'm fine with the larger focus being on Pol, because he had the hardest journey to get to where he could be with Bruno. The writer should have done a better job of building stories for both. Great video btw.
Hate how they didn‘t ended up in „Merli. Sapere Aude“. And also how their storyline ended is just terrible. Also hate they didn’t kept Bruno in season 2. I really liked his group of friends. Axel is alright but still.
Absolutely agree. Bear in mind MSA is simply a half baked, half told story in a series cancelled before the final act. They DO make it in the end, but the writer and the network decided the audience didn't deserve to see that or the rest of Pol's journey. We know they make it both from the 7-year jump at the end of Merli, and from the story MSA is based on, as well as from interviews with Lozano an Menna. Axel is just a learning experience. It's Pol's first adult relationship - although it's with a creepy red flag that walks and talks. Gives him a chance to figure things out with the disease, and to stabilize emotionally. It also gives him a chance to understand he can be in a relationship with a guy. Experiences that set him up for his next relationship, one of love with Bruno.
The intention was for 3 seasons, with the third finally bringing them together. Bearing in mind they just established that the boys need time apart to grow up, it's understandable why the writer might choose to minimize Bruno's role in the second season if he thought there would be time to wrap it all up. It was a bad choice. Unfortunately the network gods are merciless and they love to axe shows before the full story can be told. Lozano gambled and the audience lost.

@@clavilon Not really a popular take, but I do like that they effectively split them up to an extent at the end of S1 of Sapere Aude. It gave both the needed opportunity to learn, experience, grow, and gain perspective for that moment they do reconnect.

It would be cool to see them do the intended third season that brings everything full circle. Sadly, I don't think it's going to happen.
Maybe at some point Lozano will commit the rest of the story to paper. His vision of how they kissed and made up, what Bruno did during those years, Pol's self discovery and realization about Bruno, how the Axel relationship went turned to dust, and ultimately how they came back together. Until that happens, we have to come up with our own story.

yeah it promised a lot but it was very dissapointing, I don't mind if the spin-off is more focused on Pol and his university years but they way they treated Bruno was a big no from me
@@somosinevitables Yeah, wasn't a fan of some of the choices they made. Really a shame that they didn't give David good material to work with. I'm fine with the larger focus being on Pol, because he had the hardest journey to get to where he could be with Bruno. The writer should have done a better job of building stories for both.

Hate how they didn‘t ended up in „Merli. Sapere Aude“. And also how their storyline ended is just terrible. Also hate they didn’t kept Bruno in season 2. I really liked his group of friends. Axel is alright but still.

Bear in mind MSA is simply a half baked, half told story in a series cancelled before the final act.
They DO make it in the end, but the writer and the network decided the audience didn't deserve to see that or the rest of Pol's journey. We know they make it both from the 7-year jump at the end of Merli, and from the story MSA is based on, as well as from interviews with Lozano an Menna.
Axel is just a learning experience. It's Pol's first adult relationship - although it's with a creepy red flag that walks and talks. Gives him a chance to figure things out with the disease, and to stabilize emotionally. It also gives him a chance to understand he can be in a relationship with a guy. Experiences that set him up for his next relationship, one of love with Bruno.
The intention was for 3 seasons, with the third finally bringing them together. Bearing in mind they just established that the boys need time apart to grow up, it's understandable why the writer might choose to minimize Bruno's role in the second season if he thought there would be time to wrap it all up. It was a bad choice.
Unfortunately the network gods are merciless and they love to axe shows before the full story can be told. Lozano gambled and the audience lost.
