I watched season one of this show when it came out and I absolutely loved it. All these years I thought there was only one season until last week I came across this video and I said “holy shit, there are scenes in here I’ve never seen so there must be more seasons”. Anyways I finished watching the series. season three almost made me want to stop watching it but I’m glad I stuck with it.
TV show from Catalonia, Spain called Merlí. Netflix has only released Season 1 of 3 as of November 2018 in the U.S. I watched a couple of episodes when I was in Barcelona in October 2018 and downloaded the rest. But when I tried to watch back in California, Netflix blocked it with a pop-up saying I was not in an authorized geographic area!
he comes back towards the last three episodes so that we get a happy conclusion to a long yearning love story. Even i had stopped watching after Bruno had left in thd of seson 2. But the moment i found they get back together for good i looked it up everywhere and found the 3rd season on Dailymotion. Its yet not available in India on netflix or other place. Yeah Bruno came back :) and in the end Pol & Bruno make a happy couple.

I've watched all three seasons of this. It's relation ships between teens and adults. I give it 10/10. Funny, moving, romances, odd deaths of those we fall in love with. Highly recommended for all. (No spoilers)
@@gabrielcal3921 The name of the series is "Merli". If you like this kind of storyline you might also like "The Thing About Harry" which is a full length movie and well done. Good endings in both.
I run the risk of being attacked here but I actually hate this storyline. Pol is a horrible person, he's a liar, a cheater, a coward and he has no problems hurting the people who love him to get his way. And Bruno is that person with very little pride who lets anyone play him like a fool. I know they end up together and all but I honestly don't understand how Bruno could still be in love with Pol after all the pain and hurt that Pol caused him. I also don't like how the storyline falls into every stereotype of bisexuality, as if bisexual people were unable to commit to one person just because they like both genders. The threeway in the last season was just the most stupid thing I've ever seen in any gay couples' storylines. To be honest, we don't have many gay storylines that have a happy ending and we're always glad when we see one, but for me the best ending would be Bruno finding someone who would love him like he deserves to be loved and Pol being all alone and having to learn how not to be such a jerk.
After merli died they had a lot more toxicity in their relationship. It's just sad that we can't see how they've resolved it 😭 like the spin off is just a bad after taste. It kinda ruined the original show for me.
This love story disappointed me so much. These videos make their love story look great but I finally got to see the series and it’s a sordid one. Bruno is so handsome, so beautiful. He deserves better.
I honestly stopped watching after season 2 because i couldn't take not seeing Bruno there but now that I've had the courage to watch this compilation I'm gonna watch merli again lmao
Bruno is really fucking hot, David Solans put so much real in his acting game, glad they end together i'm gonna watch this show for sure, even if I hate ppl like Pol, I'm happy for Bruno that he can finaly be with the love of his life.
yeah Pol is a complicated character but.. at some point you can understand why he behave like that. I'm glad you're gonna watch it, it's Merli, and It's a great show =)

Just finished watching the second and third seasons of Merli again. It's a shame the series is not more readily available on the various streaming services so that it can have the wider exposure it deserves.
@@JonInCanada1 Yeah, same here in the US. That's where I first saw the series about about 3 years ago. I went to watch it after the cluster that is MSA, but couldn't find it again. Only recently found the first season on a streamer called topic, but they don't seem to have any plans to bring the other two seasons anytime soon. Be nice if Netflix just picked it up again.

The TVshow is called "Merli" and this video is a summary of their story, they continue Pol's life after school in "Merli sapere audi" but the series was canceled and we wont be able to see the development of their story on screen. So, I don't recommend "sapere Audi" but i do "merli"
In the end, yes they do find their way back to each other and it's a happy ending. Very end of the first series alludes to that with a 7-year jump when the boys are on the cusp of getting married. The second series Is okay for showing some of Pol's growth, but you have to remember that it's a half told story that was canceled in the 2nd Act. At the end of the day though none of what they did in that series changed the final outcome.
Okay only i am waiting to know how they ended up 2gether i thought Pol would have felt jealous when he heard he was with Nicolas, i hope pol would realise when Bruno left for Rome. They are making Merli; Sapere Aude, it is Pol's spin-off show, but it's not gonna be on Netflix sadly :/, it will be on a spanish stream service, but maybe it will be available on Netflix for other countries, hopefully.

I did start season 1 a long time ago haha, but I thought that they wouldn't end up together so i've stop watching it. Now that I see they're ending together...BACK ON THE SHOW haha
I think I still liked the Merli storyline, all three seasons, and the distance was actually what was needed, Bruno was very in love and Pol knew he always had Bruno as a constant second option, someone who he can always fall back on which is why things got toxic after a while. Although I liked that Bruno being away did both of them good. Bruno actually was in a healthy relationship for once and Pol could actually experiment and figure things out without having Bruno as his net to fall back on. It let him experience attraction, love rejection and hurt all of it on his own. He really needed that. Although I will tell you I definitely hated Merli SPA, it completely ruined it for me, like we saw nothing of Bruno, they should have shown us Pol Bruno storyline ( the 7 years later phase) in second season but no they included the whole AIDS fear mongering and we saw no Bruno.
Actually, Bruno's relationship was bad. Per the story Merli Is based on, Nicola was unfaithful and emotionally abusive towards Bruno. Agree on the separation between the boys. Actually in both series. Bruno needed to grow up and gain his experience, Pol needed to do the same. MSA showed us that neither of them were ready to be in a relationship, and so the party fight was necessary to give each time to do that. Time to live, learn, love, and grow! I was definitely not a fan of MSA. There's just so much wrong with the format, the story, and some other creative decisions, especially in the second season. That said, nothing they did changes the final outcome, that the boys do eventually come back together right around the time Pol graduates. We just never get to see that final chapter that reconnects the second series to the first and brings the story full circle. This is what the third season was to be about.

Because they said that in "Merli" the original serie. "Sapere aude" it's something between school and they getting married but they didnt record more episodes so..
Because the first series ends with a 7 year jump (approx 3 years after MSA) that shows boys together and on the cusp of marriage. Also, in the story MSA is based on, the first scene opens with Bruno proposing, and Pol telling us: "Bruno Bergeron and I are dating, and we have lived together for a year. We took the step after graduation." MSA is a half-told story that was canceled before the final act. The original plan for the series was for three seasons, with a third being when the boys come back together and establish their relationship. The end of the second season effectively sets up that scenario. Pol graduates, and has learned to accept who he is, as well as survive and thrive with his illness. Axel is done and dusted. The door closes on one chapter, and opens to the next.
Just wanted to say there's going to be a fourth season of Merli, focusing on Pol and his life as a phylosophy teacher, and also on his married life with Bruno, the only actors who will be appearing on the fourth season from the first, second and third season are Bruno, Pol and Pol's father. After. The reunion takes place 7 years after Merli, or about 3 years after university. Bruno and Pol start dating shortly after university (Yo, Pol Rubio), and are on the cusp of getting married 3 years later (S3 Merli, 7-year jump). MSA was intended to run for 3 years, unfortunately it was canceled after the second season. That third season was supposed to bring the boys full circle to establish their relationship. That's one of the few good things about the ending of the series. It's pretty damn clear that Axel is out of the picture, which leaves things wide open for Bruno and Pol to connect. Actually, in my own mind, Bruno is in the background at Pol's graduation.

@@MyaAlixaa Fighting or not, they are still best friends and will always be there to support the other. Graduation is a key milestone for Pol and there isn't a snowball's chance that Bruno is not present both as a friend and as an extension of Merli.

Damn. Only season 1 of Merlí has been released on Netflix USA. Though I have to say it sounds terrible dubbed in Castilian. Much better in it's original Catalan version.

I think I still liked the Merli storyline, all three seasons, and the distance was actually what was needed, Bruno was very in love and Pol knew he always had Bruno as a constant second option, someone who he can always fall back on which is why things got toxic after a while.
Although I liked that Bruno being away did both of them good. Bruno actually was in a healthy relationship for once and Pol could actually experiment and figure things out without having Bruno as his net to fall back on. It let him experience attraction, love rejection and hurt all of it on his own. He really needed that.
Although I will tell you I definitely hated Merli SPA, it completely ruined it for me, like we saw nothing of Bruno, they should have shown us Pol Bruno storyline ( the 7 years later phase) in second season but no they included the whole AIDS fear mongering and we saw no Bruno.
Actually, Bruno's relationship was bad. Per the story Merli Is based on, Nicola was unfaithful and emotionally abusive towards Bruno.
Agree on the separation between the boys. Actually in both series. Bruno needed to grow up and gain his experience, Pol needed to do the same. MSA showed us that neither of them were ready to be in a relationship, and so the party fight was necessary to give each time to do that. Time to live, learn, love, and grow!
I was definitely not a fan of MSA. There's just so much wrong with the format, the story, and some other creative decisions, especially in the second season. That said, nothing they did changes the final outcome, that the boys do eventually come back together right around the time Pol graduates. We just never get to see that final chapter that reconnects the second series to the first and brings the story full circle. This is what the third season was to be about.

It's a TV show called Merli, It has 3 seasons, 1 and 2 are in Netflix, and you can watch season 3 in Dailymotion.com, and there's a spin off called Merli:Sapere Audi about Pol's Life in the university (the blonde Guy) and Bruno is in the spin off too, it's already filmed It Will be aired in october :)
Im so confused why everyone is saying the end up together…? I wish, but they dont?? In Merlí: sapere aude Pol says he never loved Bruno and Them they never see each other again. Right?
Because they said that in "Merli" the original serie. "Sapere aude" it's something between school and they getting married but they didnt record more episodes so..
Because the first series ends with a 7 year jump (approx 3 years after MSA) that shows boys together and on the cusp of marriage. Also, in the story MSA is based on, the first scene opens with Bruno proposing, and Pol telling us:
"Bruno Bergeron and I are dating, and we have lived together for a year. We took the step after graduation."
MSA is a half-told story that was canceled before the final act. The original plan for the series was for three seasons, with a third being when the boys come back together and establish their relationship.
The end of the second season effectively sets up that scenario. Pol graduates, and has learned to accept who he is, as well as survive and thrive with his illness. Axel is done and dusted. The door closes on one chapter, and opens to the next.
Just wanted to say there's going to be a fourth season of Merli, focusing on Pol and his life as a phylosophy teacher, and also on his married life with Bruno, the only actors who will be appearing on the fourth season from the first, second and third season are Bruno, Pol and Pol's father. It's confirmed
Actually it starts when Pol becomes a universitary and maybe we'll see "brunol" history to their marriage

After. The reunion takes place 7 years after Merli, or about 3 years after university.
Bruno and Pol start dating shortly after university (Yo, Pol Rubio), and are on the cusp of getting married 3 years later (S3 Merli, 7-year jump).
MSA was intended to run for 3 years, unfortunately it was canceled after the second season. That third season was supposed to bring the boys full circle to establish their relationship.

That's one of the few good things about the ending of the series. It's pretty damn clear that Axel is out of the picture, which leaves things wide open for Bruno and Pol to connect. Actually, in my own mind, Bruno is in the background at Pol's graduation.

Damn. Only season 1 of Merlí has been released on Netflix USA. Though I have to say it sounds terrible dubbed in Castilian. Much better in it's original Catalan version.
