honestly i hope this will maybe make people be a little more considerate when asking for 100 baby challenge vids. because buzzfeed is a big corporation, i feel like people sometimes forget that while videos go out like clockwork, kelsey and the multiplayer team are the reason for that, and they work like hell for it to happen? anyway the effort and dedication is really really appreciated! 😊
Her effort is super appreciated. For the reason people are needy for more eps is because other simmers produce quality content like this all by themselves everyday, BUT they don't have to leave their house for it and all their setup is always at the ready. Kelsey honestly doesn't need buzzfeed. I watch because of her, although I think it's cool that a bigger corporation is making a niche community more mainstream.

For a reason
But with enough demand for more, potentially couldn’t buzzfeed invest in a permanent space for Kelsey so she doesn’t have to set up and tear down the set every time? Or pay someone else to do all that work, and to edit? So she could focus on content and not editing?
Right..it seems like Buzzfeed owns Kelsey’s name now? I hope she realizes that after this she will be able to go on without them.

Ok wow... I'm just in awe of how together your life is. You work out, eat right, work your butt off, walk your dog (TWICE), and your nails are perfect. Are you sure you have as many hours in a day as everyone else? Pretty sure you got some extra. 😅 Anyway, this was #goals
It's easy if you don't have anyone else to worry about. I used to be this way before I got married now I have to worry about cleaning after someone else and making sure they're fed. 😂

I didnt realize that they had to set up a whole area every time the games are filmed... I always just assumed they film enough game videos that they would have a set "gaming" studio...

There is a lot of teams working at the same time and equipment sets,
From management standpoint, it’s impossible to set up stationery studio set cause every time game setting could be different
And you just can’t put expensive equipment there and expect the to turn on and go... what if it’s stolen or broken
Must be properly stored and checked, if not each time

I never expected that I will learn so much just by watching this video.
1. Make your bed every morning so that when you get home, it's nice and tidy and ready for sleeptime (Normally I just let my mess on my bed then a stressful day comes ahead, my unmade bed adds to my stress).
2. Smile at work. Because smiling, as I can see with Kelsey makes the day lighter and even if things are not going as planned (just like what happened to the lost video), smile and trust to the team that everything will be fine.
3. Do things you love after working hours. Gaming, in Kelsey's case. When I come home, all I do is Facebook, TH-cam, Twitter. I mean, that's okay but recently I've been on my phone rather than spending my time to what I love and make time worthwhile after work shift. I love reading books and writing novels and never did neither these past few months. 😔
4. Prep all the things you need the next day before going to bed. It makes a lot of sense. Every morning I spend a lot of time thinking what should I wear (that matches) or what to bring that day... rather than just grab what you had prepared last night.
5. Meditate before going to sleep. We need to destress and reflect what happened today to make ourselves better the next day. We need a peaceful mind. And having a peaceful mind makes a peaceful sleep which is essential for a great mood the following day.
Sorry, its too long but these really hit the buttons in me. I'm having a bad week already and its just Tuesday.

Wow, never realised how much actually goes into making all the videos and streams. Hats off to you Kelsey, getting up at stupid o'clock and being busy at work all throughout the day sounds like a nightmare, but you can see just how much you love your work, and that's amazing xD Thank you for all of your time and effort in making quality content :D also I love your home gaming/streaming setup, super pretty! I had no idea just how much work goes into the 100 baby challenge it looks like an effort
Casey Johnson It is a lot of work especially when you have toddlers and multiple kids can be overwhelming. I have tried it about 4 separate times and most of the time I rage quit. I am having another shot at it. Trust me it is insane!
As a video editor myself I can't believe this work schedule. I never realized Buzzfeed producers had to fully set up and take down the sets of their shoots. Reminds me of my time in art college where we would be allowed to rent out the equipment and the studio to make things. At least she's getting paid, hopefully well! Also the fact that she films 3 movies a day is beyond my comprehension. The amount of energy it takes to be completely perky and funny for a movie is exhausting and to do it 3 times a day in addition to working out, eating healthy and editing for hours! WOW! WOW! WOW! Kelsey is an inspiration to all people who want to embark in this field!
You seem so healthy and happy. You are a real role model for me because you live healthy even tho you have a stressful job. Thats really inspiring ❤

I dont know why I just assumed the filming area was already set up and an office like room that they film in.... the wonders of behind the scenes. This actually gives me so much more of an appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into making these videos. Way to go Kelsey!
Meditation is the best thing that ever happened to me! I always mediate for 10-15 minutes after school and before bed. It really helps calm the nerves.

I have many mental and physical health ailments so when I'm sad, mad, annoyed, frustrated it's written all over my face.

I'm so glad that I came across Kelsey's channel a few months ago! She has such an amazing work ethic all while having such a positive and happy attitude, with constant laughter and smiles, whenever I watch her videos I can't help but smile, too! Wow, busy woman! I had no idea that recording gaming videos was so intense! 😯 A lot of coordination goes into a seemly simple process (why is it so much easier when Kelsey records a video in the 100 baby challenge? 😆) I recently watched ALL of the 100 baby challenge videos that are out, and I’m pretty invested in the journey, so when you thought the audio for two videos was lost, I legit started getting emotional with you 😭. Being a digital media major, I love that you set up your own lights and equipment, that made me happy! I for some reason always thought other people do that stuff for buzzfeed camera personals. I love how you wake up at 6:30 on the nose and accomplish so much. I hit snooze for about 45 minutes, have about 5 minutes to get changed, and leave my house with mismatched shoes and without eating breakfast or showering.

Love love love your channel and I absolutely admire how hard you work in a day, it's kind of unbelievable. Something that stood out to me was that you find time to collect ypur thoughts and relax at the end of a busy day, which is really important. I will say,though, be careful with meditation. I've researched it a bit and its affects can lead to some really dangerous outcomes( spiritually). But keep being awesome and keep the 100 baby challenge videos coming!!!!!!

As a person who minored in Digital Media Production, I can honestly feel your pain in the pre-production and post-production stages 😩 it’s so hard setting up lights, cameras, sounds, and the production design, especially when it’s just 1-3 people setting it all up. Plus the stressful moment when something forked up in the production process (i.e. lost audio/footage) and the trouble of having two production set-ups in less than a day.
I commend you and your team so much! I hope to get a job in that kind of industry (despite the stressful moments) because it’s so fun being able to express yourself in front of the camera and to appreciate your work after. 😌
