- This is 100% A Challenge Video and I don't have a baby. I wanted to see what I would be like to live as Chelsea from my 100 Baby Challenge and raise a baby for 24 hours!
What challenge should I try next?

not only was hazel on the 100 baby challenge but also she's semi-regularly on the not so berry series so it's extra funny that she forgot
OMG!!! It's so true though!!! I paused the video to come to the comments to see what people would say about the name Hazel!!!!
P.S. Love you Kelsey!!!!
ya your correct
So funny!!!
Hazel times 3
Oh so cool 😎
Chewy was so confused the whole time 🤣 he said "I'M BABY"
da baby
You can 100% tell Chewie is so used to being the sole focus of Kelsey’s attention it’s so cute. He tried to play along but it’s not about him anymore and he’s not a fan 😂😂😂
I agree 👍 lol
People in Kelsey’s neighborhood must be so confused about how she was definitely not pregnant and then she definitely was pregnant and then the next day she’s walking around with a baby 🤣
Wandavision
No they mean from her other vids like being pregnant for 24 hours now this
Umbrella Academy type beat
I'm a single new mom, my baby is 8 months old. When Kelsey's friend talked in the beginning not gonna lie it made me tear up a little bit
Aaw, you got this!! Keep it up, lil' mama!
New mom baby is 5 months and I felt so emotional with her talking too!
I’m a single mom to a 2 year old. Had him at 16. It gets easier mama. 🥰
True i have three kids triplets im on my husbands account sorry if this hurts you
Aww, God Bless You
Being prepared for parenthood: an extreme sport
so is doing homework while the teacher is collecting it
Oh yes. Childbirth too!
16:59 I never laughed so hard at the simplest thing. "Good morning, Hazel" and the baby is just sitting upright.
You so need to do this again with the second generation of these babies! they have bottles and diapers with sensors in them that you have to change as well as they have to be rocked and physically burped. plus the heads move so you actually have to cradle the head like a real baby! A lot better experience ! You did amazing mom-ing for 24 hrs!!!
Totally agree. I had the baby with the sensors like you’re describing, it’s a way more immersive experience
I also did it with the second generation and it was so much harder but i managed to get 100% i was so proud and exhausted after 3 days during highschool XD
Yes, I'd love to see her with the second generation one. It's so much more of a realistic experience!
I was sick when I had to do this in highschool. It was horrible having to wake up almost every hour while sick. Lol
Yes! I had one of those babies for a weekend in high school. We had to write down how many times the baby cried, duration and what the reason was for.
Chewie casually stealing the show bc he is baby
kelsey: "you just want attention?"
me: YOU DON'T WANT MY HEART
Maybe you just hate the thought of me with someone new!
Me too 😂🎶
I'm having flashbacks to my junior year of high school when we got those dolls for my childhood development class. My aunt had way to much fun watching the doll for like 2 hours when I had to go do something
My parents wanted to get a car seat and a stroller... I was like no. It's not a real baby you guys 😂
That weekend I went to a family party and there were some people there I didn't know and I took the baby and just left it on the table. People just stared at me and the baby in concern 😂😂
Sammmmee! I had one my freshman/ sophomore year. I took mine to chick fill a and someone thought my baby wasn’t breathing so she tried to grab her for cpr😂 I broke Monday morning when I only wanted a shower haha. Mine had a wrist monitor I had to scan it feed it with a plastic bottle, change diapers (the diapers had monitors to), could tell how long it was in one spot or if it got to hot
@@jackiewinn2944 Yeah the ones we had in school are way more advanced than Kelsey's! And I had it over a whole weekend not just one day.
@@lucieperchellet same! Haha it was a struggle 😂 I couldn’t leave its side because of the wrist monitor I had to scan it with before taking care of it
We got ours in middle school 8th grade instead of high school. Ours weren’t as advanced as this one tho and only had one key that we had to stick in the baby’s back and physically turn it until it stopped. I had it for 2 days during the school week and I’m not ashamed to say that I slept on the floor in my mom’s room so she could help me take care of it overnight. 😂 One of the mornings I remember being so tired that neither one of us realized that I still had my pajamas on and we had to turn around and drive back home to change so I wouldn’t break dress code, which made me late🙃
I would have liked to see what her score ended up being.
She got the hang of it, she never used the panic button
When my twins were around 3 weeks old I was once so sleep deprived I thought I fell asleep holding one and some how got trapped in my pillow. A small corner of my brain was saying “No that’s just crazy. The babies are fine asleep in their cribs.” The other part of my brain ripped open a feather pillow. My mom came over to help out and there were feathers everywhere. She laughed as I was trying to pick up all the feathers by hand. She took them for a walk in the stroller and I vacuumed the feathers. Then I pumped for 30 minutes and took a short nap. Newborn stage was rough.
2 is no joke! There's def nothing like help when it comes to babies.
... I may have picked up my cat off the bed one night and tried in vain to get her into correct nursing position, thinking it was my weeks-old son in the dark. ... Sleep deprivation is a trip.
I only have a Singleton but I woke up once cuddling my pillow and I freaked out thinking I had smothered my baby. Thankfully it was just a pillow.
Oh look, it’s the baby that was in your tummy for the last challenge. Glad to see it’s healthy, considering that those 9 months just flew by! 😂
Thanks for another fantastic video, Kelsey!! Stay awesome! ❤️
Love these - is the gold digger challenge coming back as well? I’m needing to know what happens next with Kaley!
Same here!!! We all need to know🌻
It’s coming back!
@@kelseydangerous yay!
Thank you for replying to this question!
Can't wait for it. Should do black widow also
@@JennsCleaningTouch she should also do extreme rags to riches (like James Turner never finished). She should do all the challenges because her storytelling is just *chefs kiss.* I look forward to every upload.
@@kelseydangerous wow you seem to be interested in baby’s lately lol jkjkjk
Chewy: "It look like person, but it not smell like person"
This baby looks way easier then the one i had in school! We actually had to change the diaper and feed and physically burp it! There were sensors on it to make sure you did what needed to be done. Also we had to make sure we supported the neck and it sensed any dropping or shaking of the baby.
Sounds like the version we had. Edit: I had to look it up and the version was called Baby Think It Over. They apparently call it RealCare Baby now though.
Same! And mine was also one that could sense temperature and which clothes it was wearing for how long and if it is too cold/hot.
This baby definitely seems easier 😅
Same! My older sister was a pain in the butt in school so when she got her baby, the teacher gave her the worst program😅 that baby cried like every hour on the hour! Oh and when I got mine, my mom insisted on taking care of it while I rested a little and she snapped his neck TWICE! She didn't tell me and I didn't find out until the teacher told me 🤦🏽♀️ I told her she wasn't allowed to take care of my future children 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, I had the same type as you. I honestly didn't realize they had key ones like this. Feels like cheating in comparison lol. Having to actually complete the actions and treat it exactly like a real baby with everything being recorded in it's smart tech was really cool.
@@edgesamantha AGREE!
When chewy scratched baby's head... I died💀😂 hes so jealous😂
he said this is my bed
Chewy's reaction when you said: "There's my baby.." 🤣
Girl, your makeup at the end was so gorgeous! Seriously, you are glowing!
I did this project for extra credit in my 8th grade health class. This was in the 90s so back then when you put the key in you had to twist it and hold it there until the baby was satisfied. They also put the keys on an unbreakable band attached to your wrist so you couldn't have anyone else take care of the baby but you. Needless to say it worked. Im in my late 30s and I STILL don't have kids lol.
I had the SAME one and was trying to find a comment saying this. I had mine for 2 days during the school week and forgot to change out of my pajamas one morning. Had to go back home and change into something that didn’t break policy LOL
That's the one I did, too
The watching cocomelon had me, that was the most accurate part of having a baby around 💛😂😂
Kelsey as a mom would be hilarious 😂 Still waiting for 'Im Not Single Anymore'
Both last week's video and this week's video were so wholesome, thank you for your dedication to making the best videos on TH-cam. On a related note Catlin's (sorry if I misspelled her name) guest appearance was the perfect parenting 101, she did a great job
Should have called the baby Olive!!! Like the 100 baby challenge! Anyways, love u Kelsey❤
Never thought I’d hear “Hazel’s upset again” outside of the 100 baby challenge 😂😂
Sleeping when they sleep is the best, going through the motions is definitely the best way to feel confident with taking care of babies and definitely love yourself! Staying calm is key and animals really cant tell happy screeching from upset screeching :)
YES! My husband used to be like: "how do you know what the baby needs?!" And I would be like, "Dude, idk... I just go through the list on things that could possibly be wrong."
I’m happy for this video because I’ve never got to experience robotic babies in high school. This is fascinating
Awwe this was so cute! Love how baby Hazel is everywhere. Also Chewie was such a good sport even though he was jealous
I knew something like this was coming in the moment that we didn't see the doll in the pregnancy video AND I LOVE THAT IT'S HERE
Kelsey was sleep deprived but her makeup was still BOMB!
I really want to see Kelsey taking care of her friends kids for a day or close to it. It would be so fun to watch it. ♥️😬
24 hours is such a hilariously short time for any sort of simulation of having a baby.
Because it's the days and days and weeks of newborn sleep deprivation that makes it so hard.
Kelsey chilling watching cocomelon 😁🤣🥰
She seems to have way to much watching it
In highschool I took a parenting class and we had to take one of these home for the weekend. The one we used had a sensor in the lips, so you actually had a bottle to feed it with, and you have to physically pat the baby on the back for it to burp. It's head could fall back if you didn't support it properly all the time, which would make it scream like crazy. There were some sort of motion sensors in it, so you literally have to rock and bounce it to calm down if the head fell back. Luckily it only happened to me once 😅 It was actually kind of fun lol
I wonder if Kelsey's going to do a similar vlog when she got an actual baby. That'd be interesting to see.
WE LOVE YOU KELSEY! ❤️
I am loving these different types of videos. I think it is so great you are having fun with your channel.
My baby in high school, had sensors everywhere, we didn't have cards. And you also had a neck senor to show if you were too rough with flopping around the babies head
1000% the same. The keys would have been soooo much easier!!
Yes!
Did you have the ones that came with the bottle and the diapers with the sensor in it.
And then you had a wrist band with a sensor in it you had to touch to the baby so they'd know you didn't just pawn it off on your Mom or something.
@@SjofnBM1989 yup!!!
Yeah mine was like that too. I actually preferred the sensor it was way simpler and easier just based on how this looks
I think the one thing no one really preps you for is that feedings take 30-45 minutes (or more) and then baby may want to be fed again in less than an hour. I wish it was as easy as a key in the back! No poop!! :)
Kelsey really love babies 😂
Thanks for all parents out there, you guys all are amazing 💞
They should've made that baby more floppy. Holding infants while their heavy heads flop about always freaks me out lol
Chewy seems like he wants a sibling. He was being very attentive lol....and a little jelly....JUST LIKE A REAL SIBLING!💁🏿♀️🤣 LOL
chewie really said "IM THE ONLY BABY HERE MISS"
I'm getting flashbacks of child development classes in highschool when I had to take care of this thing for a weekend lol 😂
I always wanted to do that assignment but my school didn’t offer those types of classes!
@@andreamolinar6883 the baby I had was very different. Granted it was like a decade ago lol but the one I had you just had a bracelet with one key thing and you had to click it in then actually burp the baby with your hand, or change a physical diaper, rock it and I think a bottle for food. It was intense lol
@@ChillinWithRen wow that sounds a lot more hands on! Probably a lot more realistic than baby Hazel.
@@andreamolinar6883 haha it was definitely an experience. The lack of sleep from hazel is very accurate to my experience lol
The moment she said Hazel I remembered 100 baby challenge..... This video was Chewie being jealous alll throughout, so adorable
I did that with that almost the same baby on hardcore setting for an extended weekend (thank goodness I got extra credit for the extra day) in my teen parenting class. Easy but you do get a lot of weird looks especially at 16 but had to actually do the things like they have microchips in the diapers and bottles and had to literally burp it. I wish mine was that easy lol
Edit: I didn't have a cheat key aka a panic key.
I actually don't like the keys. I had the one you had with the bottle and diaper sensors. Much easier to handle in the middle of the night so you're not fumbling trying to find a correct key.
I never was able to burp mine... And I think I ended up getting a B because of that...
@@greeneyesgirl467 probably honestly. I was at an alternative high school for this class and the teacher showed me they can see everything you did with the baby how long it cried what you tried to do to fix the problem and so on.
I think the panic key is a good idea - assuming these are rented out, you don't want stressed teens taking a hammer to the doll to shut it up. But using it in anything other than a verifiable emergency should be an instant fail.
"I feel like she was calm all day so she could cry at night" - that is very realistic!!
Fun! I for sure thought you purposefully picked Hazel because of the 100 baby challenge! Also your makeup at the end of the video was amazing!! 🤩
So I know this isn't the challenge, but I was thinking and the ultimate gold digger daddy would have to be father winter!!! Marrying him gives you $500,000
That’s exactly what I did! I only needed 5 husbands thanks to him.
Hearing baby cries when it wasn't. Hearing phantom baby cries is a thing IRL
So we have learned Kelsey doesn’t like being pregnant but loves babies. Lol
The chaos in this is exactly how I feel about being a real mom. Good job
Hazel crying kept distracting my 7 month old daughter from eating. 😆 She looks over every time.
The baby talk is so on point 😂 I love it.
Your 4am session was exactly what all of us mom’s go through. Lol great job and video as always!!
Loving this series! We all want to see Kelsey as a mom 🤣
I'd love to see you do this for a whole weekend!
Literally had to do this for class in grade 11 for 4 days… never again
LOL
I had to do this when I was in 9th grade, not fun at all...
@@Sissie131 did you have to wear a bracelet that’s the key for all the things the baby might need like a diaper change or what not?
My teacher programmed it to wake up very often but she only did it to me… my teacher was psycho
I've kind of always wanted to do this project in school but I don't think I'm taking the right classes.
I feel like a future episode is going to be 'Single girl decides to adopt a baby'
You are freaking adorable with your satisfaction when you get the baby to quit crying. That is legit. The relief of stopping the crying is real, lol. Also the one handed laundry - truest thing I've seen all day.
In some ways what you're doing is harder, because you don't get the magical parts of having a newborn (the cuteness, the love, etc.)
YAASSSSS this is exactly what I was hoping would come out of the last video haha
Chewie being so curious and jelous of the baby is the best thing
Loved the vid! You should try it for a week or a weekend to challenge yourself even further!
As a recent new parent. This made me laugh. It's brutal for your sleep but the absolute best thing in the world.
I have the same washer and dryer combo in my apartment! 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I took off the front cover of the washer and found 27 socks and 4 pairs of underwear inside it! 😂
I haven't watched the whole video but can you imagine next video: single girl tries to take care of 100 robotic babies
Hazel ate a bunch of Chipotle and Taco Bell on her way to Kelsey 🤣🤣🤣
Oh no the ones with the keys. My child development class had more updated ones with a bracelet to show your acknowledging it is crying but the bottle and diapers have a magnet in them that react with the doll to stop the crying. For 2 days I had to carry around a whole car seat and diaper bag.
Same! And you had to watch the head I was so frickin careful but when my teacher showed my stats I had let it’s head fall soooo many times! 🤦🏼♀️
@@chelseamae7 we had a baby out of rotation because one teacher didn't like them in his class but one girl couldn't get a friend to watch it for her. It started crying and he threw it. He made it clear to me he didn't want mine in his class. I never got to see my stats because I left the school after those couple days.
Hey where’s the “sup boys” when you say you’re single??😂😂
Sitting on couch with baby and dog watching cocomelon. Basically my life. Also thank you so much for not playing the cocomelon music. I know it was for copyright reasons but I'm glad my 2 year old didn't come running in yelling "coco!"
Omg we had these in a class in high school except our would scream if you didn’t support the head and we had sensor bands instead of the keys and all the tools like diapers, bottles, etc had sensors so the baby would know when you would change them or feed them. And it would also make breathing sounds when it was sleeping 😂
Yay a video
Your going to be such a good mom in the future! 🤍
Wow that baby doll is an accurate simulation of what having a real baby is like! Also it’s a lot easier when it’s a real child that gives the best snuggles on the planet!
They have keys now?! ANNDDDD A PANIC KEY🤯🤯
I'm jealous lbs! Mine had like a watch but it was a chip so it knew its me that you had to scan on its back every.time.it.cried. and came with diapers and a bottle with censors that RARELY worked.
Good job kelsey!! You did great sweetie!😊
I took care of one of these (Though with mine I had to physically feed, change, burp, and rock) for three days for my child dev class in high school and it would have been fun except my baby started having technical problems before I could even leave school and would beep randomly so my teacher said to leave it plugged in on its side whenever I wasn't responding to a cry so. :'')
Despite that, watching this video brought back a lot of fun memories! I was excited back when I saw Hazel on your story. And I loved how happy you were taking care of her through the day, it just made me smile, haha.
I love your dog! He was so confused bless him. He knows that's not a real baby but probably wondering why his mum is giving it so much attention 😆
Wow, definitely a different "Baby Think-it-Over" than what I had in high school.
My sister had the original that was just one key you turned in the back & had to hold in place until it made the cooing sound... murder on her wrists, but she got it down.
I had the more 'advanced' model: a touch-key sensor in the back for attention, a bottle sensor that when it touched baby's lips baby would make a suckling sound... a motion sensor in the back that could tell when you burped/bounced/rocked baby, a diaper sensor in 2 diapers so that you could actually change baby's diaper (it even knew if you put a new diaper on vs the same diaper from before), a sensor in the neck in case the head tilt back too far, & in the abdomen if you laid baby down on its stomach for too long... AND baby made different sounds for different things- one to coo, one to cry when it was hungry or needed changing, a completely different cry for when baby was fussy & just needed attention, the feeding sound & a totally different coo when you successfully changed baby's diaper!
Certainly made me think more about wanting kids for the longest time... & managed to get me prepared more for when I ACTUALLY had kids.
Been waiting for this since last week!
Y'all notice she also kept calling the mannequin Baby???
"NOBODY PUTS BABY IN A/THE CORNER!"
LOL 😆🤣
Chewie was ready to put himself up for adoption at night LOL
This whole video is just chewie being upset that there is someone else occupying kelseys attention 😂
Your make-up looks sooo pretty at the end of the video ahh xx
Man, wouldn't it be great if there was always just 4 potential things for what a baby wanted and it was guaranteed to stop crying so long as you tried those 4 things?
Request: one week with hazel but you have to actually “do” the actions along with inserting the keys
There is a different type of fake baby that actually requires that. Like, you have to hold a bottle to the mouth until the stop "sucking" and some can even sense temperature and how often you change the clothes and has actual diapers you have to change, and you have to support the head, make sure they aren't in the baby carrier for too long, actually patting the back to burp it, etc...
I want that make up look! That’s amazing! Makes those eyes ✨pop✨
On a side note, when you have a real newborn they make noises all the time. Awake, asleep, and at night even when they do sleep... they make noises so it is super hard to sleep even if they are not crying because sometimes breathing sounds like choking( sleep deprivation for the win)
Yep and you're scared they're going to stop breathing and hormones are going crazy. When people told me "nap when the baby naps" I wanted to punch them in the face lol
Omg the sleep grunting and snuffling can be so crazy!
Hi Kelsey love your videos
Loving this parenthood series
Yep, they let you leave the hospital with a brand new human and no instructions . But motherhood is the greatest gift after those first few weeks of sleep deprivation
THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS VIDEO WAS CHEWIE HAHAHAH. HE WAS SO DARN CUTE!!!!❤❤❤😍😍😍😍
Kelsey watching cocomelon is the highlight of my week 😭
To be fair, this leaves out all of the reward that you’d get from having a baby lmao! All the cuddles, smiles, and loving 🤣 all the pain and none if the gain LMAO
When chewy scratched baby hazels hed it made me laugh so much x
When you just feel like Kelsey is your spirit animal
I never did this in high school, so I appreciate this video. I see I didn't miss out on anything though!
Watching this type of content now that I’m a new mother of a 6 week old is so weird lmao I wish my baby was as easy as that doll!! 😂😂😂
Oh no this is going to be crazy lol
“They are portable”
This sounds weird and I hope someone out there can explain why
Newborns don't walk, run, "need" things as toddlers do. You can easily move them around and most of the time they sleep in any surrounding. Breastfeeding is convenient as a meal on the go. When children get older they need to sleep in their bed. When they start to walk it is harder to go anywhere with them as they try to run away. Not every child can eat anything in restaurant.
Children are hard exhausting work.
My baby as a newborn: Eats, sleeps, poops, falls asleep anywhere and was relatively quiet. My baby as a 9 month old: screams at the top of her lungs because she doesn't want to be where ever she is and if we're at a table will rip everything off of it. Also cry inconsolably at "strangers" in groups more than 3.
chewie laying down next to the baby reminded of my sims. whenever i have a dog and the family has a baby, the dog will choose to sleep in the room with the baby instead of their own bed and i think that's very cute
