So beautiful...so emotional! Although the claim of being spiritual but not religious seems to annoy believers and atheists equally, separating spirituality from religion is a perfectly reasonable thing to do. It is to assert two important truths simultaneously: Our world is dangerously riven by religious doctrines that all educated people should condemn, and yet there is more to understanding the human condition than science and secular culture generally admit.
Well said 👏. Well unfortunately the new India is going into the consumer concept of the west..I am sure things wil turn back. Proud being an Indian. We always believe in seeking. Vande Mataram
Sir, you are such a blessed soul. In fact the way you mentioned it even I have to learn something from you. Let us all learn from each other and live with each other. The whole world is 1 big family - Vasudeva Kutumbukkam.
You should be happy that a Canadian is comparing an Indian city to a modern presumably westernised city. Development and infrastructure give peace and prosperity especially on a large scale, along with spirituality. You need to try to engulf the two more.
I have to agree with you on that. But one thing that's happening is that many Indians are lead into believing that Westernized society and their practices and is presumably cool and they are adopting it gradually. Now what's happening is our own culture is dying.
Yeah, India should be devoid of any modernization because a few Occidental people want to come and chill. Makes me wonder if they really love the country or just the Power of the Pound Sterling
I meet so many indians who move to western countries and adapt that life and talk bad abt India. It takes an outsider to appreciate the country yet one who comes from there never aporeciates it.

India is completely embedded in his mind in such a way that even a rain receding in a wall looked like India to him. But the fascinating thing is he remembers every small details.
I started traveling in India in 1986, and have been back three more times. I have traveled from Mumbai to Nepal, Chennai to Mumbai, Chennai to Kolkata, and the Seven Sisters. In total, it's been over a year. My last trip was in 2018. I can tell you things have changed a lot. Some for the worse, but mostly for the better. It used to be rough and now it is cake. I am happy to see Indians beginning to enjoy the wealth of the world that others have had for so long. No matter the changes, India is a wonderful place to travel for a variety of reasons, but the most important reason is that the people are really some of the best.

I was in India twice in the early and middle 1970's. The first time was when I was in the US Peace Corps and living in a village (with no electricity and only one combustion engine on a motorbike). That time was seven months. I had to leave because I seemed to be unable to beat getting dysentery over and over. I returned to India on my own a couple of years later. That was in 1974 I think. I wanted to spend time in Nepal that time and did. After Nepal I was back in Delhi staying at the house of an upper middle class family. I was interested in possibly getting a teaching job, and the son in the family was a graduate of Lawrence Academy in Shimla. He invited me to a dinner party for Lawrence graduates where I would meet the headmaster of the school. The dinner party was at the Delhi house of the Maharaja of Jindh, who was a young man, married with children. The dinner party was fascinating. The most interesting things about it were the older Delhi matrons and the young hotshot Sikhs as well as the dinner spread which consisted of easily fifty different dishes. It was the best Indian food I had ever tasted. I haven't been back to India since 1954 but now I feel strongly drawn back to Mother India.
A deeply touching tribute paid to one of the most beautiful countries in the whole wide world by this gentle soul. Loved to hear of their experience. Gave me chills. I grew up in a Nainital boarding school. Best experience of my life. Been searching for that feeling ever since. Although unexplainable the rendition was emotionally satisfying.
They're such a sweet couple. I wish to give them a hug if I ever see them and thank them for thinking so kindly of India, even through the changing times. There's something so innocently enthusiastic in their eyes and voices for everything that's chaotic about India, everything I've taken for granted growing up, that it brought tears to my eyes.
I really loved this mans energy...he’s still so much in awe of his experiences meaning they’ve been rich and deep for him and that’s basically the meaning of a life well lived...

I’m awestruck with this guy perspective and little things he mentioned about our country like daily activity. Kudos to your channel. I just subscribed and the first video I’ve ever watched of your channel.✨✨
I came to Canada 🇨🇦 from India 🇮🇳 to find a better life.. Yes, its a beautiful Country, people are very friendly and helpful and really peaceful. I wish to go back with some money to India but not where I was brought up (in a city), but in a village on the hills, where its real India 😇
I just switched off bedroom light and put headphone and try to close my gap. Eternal u beauty thanks teaching us to look around to question around and co exist around......the inconceivable nature of nature
Ray reminds me of BBC's Michael Wood. Highly affectionate. Somehow felt the video compelles you to ask yourself, the fundamental questions of life and existence. To find that string of inner calling among thousands of strings of chaos and distraction. And that is a seeking, one must endeavor to go after, sooner or later! Sincere thanks for uploading.
I seldom ask, why your channel have so less views. Guess today's generation love over the top senseless comedy with lots of profanity and mediocrity more. I pity them. I just love your videos... They are full of life.
You can see it in his eyes, he is purely in love... I am from northeast India, nd I abosultely love it.. But like him, I too want to travel to Japan...cuz Japan really fascinates me..
This is such an amazing video.... I mean I am really amazed that this man is so fascinated by india, it's so obvious... Although I am from Haryana (22) and I have been thinking like him lately that everyday we are going into mediocrity, losing our diversity bit by bit, coping from bollywood and especially from hollywood.... Everyone has the same opinions and desires. it's like a beautiful melody is turning monotonous.. This is especially vivid in cities like Delhi and Mumbai.. There is just k-pop, english music and anime everywhere... Where is our Indianess , our beautiful diversity.
Each and every video of urs makes me feel as if I am right there, at that moment and listening to the wonderful things narrated by each and every interviewer... Thank you for this wonderful feeling...
Not necessarily. You don't seem to be aware of the fact that so many of them say some of the most horrible things humans can say about India. Just saying ...
I am an Indian who stayed abroad and I didn't like India at all as a kid. But when I came back and decided to settle here, I fell in love with our beautiful culture all over again. Jai Hind!
Such a noble gentleman... His talk depicts gentleness and subtle nature. India can give the world so much and he is a lucky human being to get his part. ❤️🇮🇳
This wasn't about India. It was a man's description of his inner most desires and simple pleasures of life. I guess...that's how, Ernest Hemingway, Jk rowling , rudyard kipling and so many other literary geniuses made those novels of life and it's beautiful meanings.... I really enjoyed this episode. Thank you.
When this man goes quite, he looks saintly. His face turns in a holy man. same is his partner. I am watching this sitting in my car, just km. From Central Melbourne, I can see harbour bridge traffic. And it takes to my village in Haryana, almost 50-55 years ago, no pucha road in my village , no electricity. I keep going there but don’t feel that warmth. That Bharat, I miss and visualise.😊
Amazing couple.. very impressed.. very unpretentious.. simple.. humble.. true to oneself.. they are going to live and leave peacefully.. am sure of this..
They know India more than we do.... enjoying the simplicity ...this is called going back to the basics...which I do miss when I visit my native....the simplicity hate those buildings ....and wish if I can stop time and transitions which hampered the beauty of my place...I connect with them .
I remember these heights, they are home. And I couldn’t agree more with the gentleman about the sounds and peace and the change brought by past few years.
Loved it! It's always beautiful to see your country from someone else's eyes. Makes you fall in love with it all over again. And such innocence n simplicity in the words of the man who said "No hard feelings" . Epic 👍😻👍

He is madly and deeply in love with india.. we can see that in his face and words..❤️
Same here lovely video developed more respect and love for my country
Awesome video. The way he describes India can make anyone fall in love with India.
Each and every video of urs makes me feel as if I am right there, at that moment and listening to the wonderful things narrated by each and every interviewer... Thank you for this wonderful feeling...
Wow, thank you!
So genuine is his love for India. Hope I get to talk to him someday. It was just so wonderful the way he was articulating his feelings for India.
Ray's love of the country and its people really exudes throughout the interview- Enjoyed the simple conversation ! Thank you !
Wonderful ! He's found something here that countless are struggling to find .
I love my BHARAT SIR, REALLY HAPPY TO HEAR FOR MY NATION, THANKS SIRJI
So many fans in India want to meet sachin Tendulkar and this guy from Canada just meets him like that! ... just wow!
Someone two posts in new messsges, above your post goes to that very cafe in char dukan .
This man is so excited to be there! Wonderful!! Thank you for uploading
Wherever we go we meet ourselves. This couple is so loving and sweet, so the whole world mirrors them.
I am glad i accidentally stumbled upon this beautiful life experience. No matter what, life can never be explained any less than this. Mesmerizing ❤️
Beautiful couple full of love for India. Thank you for this video.
Western people always appreciate the beauty of India than we all do .. they r really in love with India 🙂🙂
Not necessarily. You don't seem to be aware of the fact that so many of them say some of the most horrible things humans can say about India. Just saying ...
@@DipayanPyne94 so true. Many Indians think that everyone thinks us to be really great and nice.
Thank you so much for loving my beautiful country. I love India
I dont live in India any more, but i miss her more than anything else on earth.
It’s happy to see roy's face. Maybe he is one of the happy man of the World.
„Sir, no hard feelings“- what an amazing end to this peace giving video!
Really marvelous end...."No hard feelings"
This wasn't about India. It was a man's description of his inner most desires and simple pleasures of life. I guess...that's how, Ernest Hemingway, Jk rowling , rudyard kipling and so many other literary geniuses made those novels of life and it's beautiful meanings.... I really enjoyed this episode. Thank you.
With Lots of Love and Warm Regards from India.
🌹🙏🇮🇳
what a film ....hats off ...it covered every thing ..almost rare to watch ..so pure
Excellently made... People who are chasing the foreign dream miss the big picture...
Now that's beautiful. Thank you. It made me teary🥺
Just tears swell my eyes hearing the couple speak. They are so much now into the present.
Wonderful!!! What a passionate way of expressing his love for my country ❤️❤️❤️
The way he speaks, man the conversation with such a person really becomes memorable....
Thanks for the book. He seems to be true gem of a person. Very emotional and genuine person. Really nice interview....
I loved it how calmly and slowly he speaks 🔥
Amazing couple.. very impressed.. very unpretentious.. simple.. humble.. true to oneself.. they are going to live and leave peacefully.. am sure of this..
This guy is so ground to earth. He is telling every story excitingly and full of joy
I don't think it's just an "India experience". Both of you seem like wonderful people, so something wonderful is happening with your life.
They know India more than we do.... enjoying the simplicity ...this is called going back to the basics...which I do miss when I visit my native....the simplicity hate those buildings ....and wish if I can stop time and transitions which hampered the beauty of my place...I connect with them .
A wonderful piece of work. The best video I saw in the starting of this decade.
I remember these heights, they are home. And I couldn’t agree more with the gentleman about the sounds and peace and the change brought by past few years.
This is a beautiful conversion.
'No hard feelings' 👌
Loved it! It's always beautiful to see your country from someone else's eyes. Makes you fall in love with it all over again. And such innocence n simplicity in the words of the man who said "No hard feelings" . Epic 👍😻👍
Amazinggggg!
I wish I could live in that calm moment that someone is talking about India with such a different perspective.
