Hi CC & TLFG ... Greetings... I saw your channel name and thought.. that sounds English... I wonder... Then saw TLFG comment.. workshop tour .. CC do it and include... (It started raining and I kept writing...) health and safety, stacking wood, floors, face and hand protection, first aid, fire extinguishers, fire blanket, smoke and CO alarms... ... Now what I am about to say is serious .. RAGS with Oil etc on them can spontaneously combust.. ie Linseed oil and blends!!! Varnish etc!!! And thinners.. even water based paint... but chances lower... What did you do with the rag after you polished the table?... Similar happens at kitchens... Some times it's a slow burn.. then news reports 'Restaurant fire 2am' When drilling or working wood.. things can get hot... Even the vacuum cleaner.. They thought that was the cause on the Cutty Sark.... Lenses are another.. bright sun shines through window on to very dry sawdust, there might be a glass of water by the window.... Obviously paint, just about all paint you buy on the street has powders or resins in it, thinners, AHH (I don't have a script 😺) putty has linseed oil in it... and then there's pyrography.. and blowlamps .. I think the Japanese or a country nearby?.. use fire to smooth or reduce pest attack.. Flamethrower pallet wood then wire brush.. possibly repeat... Leave in garden in case of slow match.. spray with water... ask fire about that... That's some examples.. When I started writing I didn't realise I would write this... So.. precovid the fire service did home safety visits. I suggest a load of neighbours group together to make visit worth while. And Fire service give you advice on your workshop... They might agree to be on camera... And don't put rags in bin!!!!!!!!!! .. Either burn them.. or if using again .. I put mine in a bucket of water down the garden... any hot wood stays outside... that's where my workshop is... No roof !! I play with some big wood... If I had an indoor workshop I'd fit automatic fire extinguishers also around house... I have 3 fire extinguishers and blanket... You? Anyway... What I was going to write.... I just realised... TFL .. G... ... thinks ... ... Transport For Greater London... Play with idea... It can also show problems ... years ago car model names translated into very bad words... I haven't watched your videos yet... You have definitely got a niche (why do people in certain countries put a T in niche?) I have watched rather a lot of YT training videos.. various channels .. lockdown learning .. got a bit out of hand... 😺 .. (I intend to do a channel.. need better camera, 1080dpi wide angle.. some I've filmed already 640dpi has good content but I won't post those yet) .. I'm not an expert .. Anyway....... I'm in central England.. I saw CC comment several times on VidIQ .. " rating 5* and only getting 50 from YT " .. doesn't read well as PR .... edit them... You are both in similar position... and wow you have some spikes... That's how to get watch hours... Take notice of the spikes but ... Which videos generate subscribers.. loyal ones ... The statistical average.. is 151 videos equal 1k subscribers.. There's a thinking of just ask people to like the video.... The algorithm see's that... and shows more people your video... and some subscribe... and more watch hours... Another angle is not to say anything.. just put on like on end screens with cards directing to other content... Do CTA after you've given something really useful... Use cards after end of video to relevant content... Music is used sparingly... Except in high speed or shorts videos... BUT only from YT audio ... others can play game of making copyright later... Like people slamming brakes on at roundabouts! And... So CC .. no more ting ting earworm muzak... So many do it ... And ... Wonder.... No subs... I haven't looked... Do you have ALL social media covered.. using same name and email... Don't use public email for admin including reset password etc... It's a matter of finding where your potential audience hangs out... As I've only seen CC videos audio could be a bit better.. Both ABOUT on your channels could be better... with at bottom of page.. (something like) "I hope you like my channel and will like and subscribe.. Thank you for watching" And your first name and channel name... Hope you both get to read this... I don't usually write this type of thing .... I had a thought about you meeting up... Also places and food for children as a YT film. Hope this helps.. Mark. ps... 🎁 TLFG .. 408 CC .. 318
@@mySeaPrince_ i want to thank you for taking your time to write your comment, it is bery heartfelt and informative and i appreciate it! (Ive read it twice and will definitely again when implementing your advice in my videos!). Fire extinguisher is something i really should actually consider now you've put the thouggt in my head🤔. Instagram, etsy and TH-cam all active and running! Audio i agree is definitely something i can work on AND quality of video as others have said AND more videos without music i feel. Thats as far as my brain can remember right now, id love to see ur workshop especially since its roofless! I look forward to seeing videos by yourself from one UK woodworker to another🤗..makes me feel more at home 😁! I look forward to speaking to you again!
