Thanks very much. Things have slowed at the moment, it's very cold in the loft at the moment so gluing and painting would take an age to dry. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, cheers Rob.
Hi Robin I hope you are well You have a huge layout Castle looks great Always like seeing turntable thank you for the update Love music too Keep safe ARP
Hi Adi Yes it is quite large. Hope to have some kind of event at the castle at some point. I also like a turntable, just need to motorise it as it can only be turned by hand at the mo. Glad you like the video and music, thanks for watching and the nice comment. Cheers Rob.
A model railway is never finished, Robin, speed of “progress” is unimportant. The main thing is having fun and it looks as if you’re doing just that. Good stuff.
None a truer word said, I'll keep going though I do have a little envy of the people that have large spare rooms rather than the low loft I have. The boards around the edge are quite camped to work on. Thanks for watching and the nice words. Cheers Rob.
Should have stuck to the original layout, that was much nicer. I don't think the changes were needed. No branch line ever sits on top of a tunnel, too unstable. Tunnels are not ventilated. A track vacuum cleaner will do the cleaning for you. However, it's your choice. Where are the steamies? You should be finished by now. And let's choose more upbeat music. Christmas is only a few months away.
Sorry you feel that way Kelly, to be honest there hasn't been that much of a change to the original plan. The branch line was always going to be where it is, I just moved the tunnel alongside it. The tunnel isn't under the branch just next to it. You must accept it is around 8 feet long so access was always going to be needed, what if a train got stuck in the middle. As for ventilation I must correct you there and I'm a little surprised you don't know this being the big fan of the GWR that you are. Look up Box Tunnel it was built with such shafts with some remaining today. You can even see them on google maps satellite view though they are obscured by trees in places. There is one in someones back yard. Thanks for watching. Cheers Rob.
Hi Rob,
Nice upday in your usual style and showing the layout well so well done keep it up and I will look out for the next one.
Cheers Robert.
Hi Robert
Progress is slow but I’ll get there. Thanks for watching and the nice comment.
Cheers Rob.
This is the first time I have seen one of your videos, but it looks like you have an incredible layout in progress. Looking forward to updates!

@@RobA500 when I see them style Castles I imagine Time Team being there
Fantastic update
@@AdiPullen Now there's an idea, though obviously they wouldn't be looking for the castle itself. Anyone seen a 1:72 scale Tony Robinson.🤔
@@RobA500 it be skullingtons and old walls ect or dinosaur bones
