Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge - Enhanced Edition is an action-adventure virtual reality experience that follows the story of a droid repair technician who gets swept up into a grand adventure after crash landing on the planet Batuu. Take on missions in the Batuu wilds, face off against the Guavian Death Gang, infiltrate a First Order facility and travel to other eras in the galaxy while proving that anyone can be a hero in their own adventure.
Exclusive to PS VR2, the Enhanced Edition has been rebuilt to take advantage of the hardware capabilities including eye tracking and foveated rendering, headset feedback, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback with PS VR2 Sense controllers, and dynamic 3D audio, among others. Combined together, the experience will bring you to a galaxy far, far away in an even more immersive way as you live out your own action-packed Star Wars story.
Throughout your adventure, you will be joined by fan-favorite characters like R2-D2, C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Jedi Master Yoda (Frank Oz), and Hondo Ohnaka (Jim Cummings). You’ll also come face-to-face with new characters like the boisterous barkeep Seezelslak (Bobby Moynihan), treasure hunter Lens Kamo (Karla Crome), and Guavian Death Gang leader Tara Rashin (Debra Wilson).

@@weepee2010 Which is the confusing part about gatekeeping this game completely behind VR. So many Star Wars fans just want to play the game. Trover Saves The Universe was great without needing VR.
I think the Oculus Quest 2 did that, it’s the best selling headset so far. PSVR 2 is for enthusiasts for sure.
@@weepee2010 most vrs are around that price but it opens up pc level vr to the average consumer someone who owns a video game console and aren’t into spending 3k on a o gaming setup just 500 on a console and somewhere along the road possibly 500 for the vr too

Looks better than I expected. Not sure if I'll buy it right away, but I'd definitely be interested to check it at some point. I still remember playing Vader Immortal on PSVR1. As a nerdy kid who grew up in the 80s, there's been almost nothing as exciting to me in VR as pulling that lightsaber close to my ear and hear it humming clearly right next to my head XD

in the off chance that you have PCVR also,you should mod blade and sorcery with the star wars mod,i literally got the have the phantom menance duel literally felt like i was living my childhood.
@@Cazanu417 Modders have done an AWESOME job of recreating almost all of THE _Battlefront II,_ by LucasArts and Pandemic-the one for PS2, PSP, OG X-Box, and etc.-in _Contractors,_ the VR military shooter which is now made to easily download and use mod skins, Jedi with unique powers, maps/arenas, and everything else a creative modder could make, all from within the game. Modders even recently got Speeder Bikes and those single-seat, hovering “Super Segways”-whatever they’re called that the Battle Droids from the prequels ride around on-and are working on other vehicles and more maps. It’s _beautiful_ and does what every kid who had that game and had seen _TRON_ thought about, at some point - being “IN” the game, in 3D, which is as awesome as it sounds. (Other modders also did an incredible job with _Team Fortress II_ by Valve-the hero shooter series that inspired _Overwatch_ but is way better and has a huge following that hasn’t been able to play the game, via online multiplayer, for nearly a decade-which is a work of art that every video game enthusiast should experience (whether the original, flat version, or in VR)! Allowing modding is the future of VR, so long as the IP holders don’t start suing devs that host IP content on their servers, for download - when VR inevitably becomes a threat to flat-screen gaming, at least insofar as there’s adequate💰 💰 💰 to be made, in the VR market, which is perfect for porting great, classic, retro games, with exponential immersion... )
"Looks better than I expected" it's a three and a half year old pcvr title ported across so expect PSVR2 native titles to look a LOT better than this.
You still remember playing Vader Immortal? Mate it was released on psvr less than 4 years ago. You ought to be worried if you DIDN'T remember playing it.
I really want to play this but I heard it’s like 3 hours long. 50 bucks is a little steep for that playtime.

The original base game was kinda short, but the dlc really fleshed it out. I thought it was really solid and way better than Vader Immortal. This also looks significantly better than it does on Quest obviously.

Quick reminder that this also includes the DLC called ‘Last Call’, which practically doubles the playtime and is said to be even better than the base game.
There are also side quests within the semi-open world, definitely worth it for Star Wars fans!

Yeah. Unfortunately that's probably never going to happen. I've wished for it for years, but it's never going to happen. We all want "alternate reality" type VR but in reality, we wouldn't be able to handle it. If something was indistinguishable from real life, then a game like call of duty storming the beach at normandy would cause "real" PTSD in people. It would be terrifying. The more real something gets, the more ethical questions start to come into play and I think that will prevent us from ever reaching a life-like simulation.

It's an older game that's a lot cheaper on other platforms... $30 would be a more reasonable price.

It seems like the white shell of the stormtrooper armor is missing its reflection map? eg. 0:12 the white armor has no reflections so it looks kinda flat shaded in the context of the environment.
How long will it take for them to simply stabilize the hands.. geez so shaky. It's not that hard to do

It’s about 3 hours,but this version comes with free dlc. which would add up to 6 hours
The previous commenter is correct but if you take your time, explore, do side activities and such, it’ll easily land you over ten hours

Not really, but you can explore the world at your own pace and do a few side missions, this also includes the DLC which might be a bit more open-ended but I haven’t personally played it.

It’s actually 6 hours since this comes with the ‘Last Call’ DLC.
There isn't a whole lot of AAA VR games that are available in VR 2 i know they announced that RE8 is now in VR. So I think that's a plus but to me personally they would need to kick it up a notch in order for me to be completely invested into getting the PSVR 2. Right now I'm more invested in getting a house right now so idk maybe down the road.
So now make a pcvr version please.

this game 2 hours long and made for a mobile phone first,i aint paying 50$ for this make it 15$
It has the DLC. It's like 6 hours long.
It was made for a VR headset not a mobile phone. It wouldn’t function on a phone lol, it’s extremely fun to play from experience
It’s also, if you include the DLC this comes bundled with and the side content, easily an over 10 hour experience atleast

The graphics seem a bit inconsistent. In some scenes it looks amazing but in others it looked mediocre
We could have had a nice death star battle in VR or even a pod race like in episode 1 or the battle of hots in VR, but not instead we had a boring game without interest, locked in small piece without interest, I do not understand the developers
I hope this eventually gets released on PSVR for the PS4. No interest in PSVR2 if it still can't play 3-D movies. It is a downgrade at this point.

The game is built around VR. You will inherently need a VR headset. If that’s too steep then you can always watch it be played online.
It’s also available on the quest 2 which is relatively cheap for a VR console.

It’s not. Vader immortal was a VR experience but galaxies edge is very much a game. It’s wel over ten hours of game time, has a semi open world to explore, and a pretty sizeable amount of main and side content and a huge variety of gameplay types
