The first time I saw this video I knew he'd bolt GN'R. Once Slash started working with Michael Jackson and Lenny Kravitz he became a in-demand session musician. Which probably made Axl into a raving lunatic.

People were looking back at the '70s during this year. Now, almost 21 years later, we're looking back at the '90s and hoping this decade will catch on. We're still expecting some changes this year.

Very possibly played by Lenny, would have to look it up, but he often plays bass and drums on his own tracks in the studio. Although this track always had the feel of a live cut to me the way Slash and Lenny are vibing off of each other. So it maybe Henry Hirsch.

Wow!

I love the attitude with which Lenny sings this song...it sells the song... Check his attitude when he sings "my mama said it's good to be fruitful but my mama said don't take more than a mouthful" ..Up...Up . along with the great musical composition.... Lots of funk... Lots of attitude.. .. I think this is the song with the most attitude, funk and personality he has done.

I am amazed, Lenny Kravitz is such a talented musician and an amazing composer. All his albums have a high quality mark, regardless of the style of music in which the album is recorded . The song is a bomb, very emotional. Slash and Lenny are like two brothers , a great duo.. It's been so many years, but it's still a fucking hit ! Why is there some guy playing drums here, where is his unforgettable drummer girl? Well, in the end, a wonderful ending, Slash emotionally kicks the sound speakers . Yes, I just love it when musicians hit and kick their equipment.

Slash always insisted on their being at least SOME footage of Live-music being olayed in every single GnR video.
Axl would want Dolphins and some big concept art music video style, but slash was constantly arguing/insisting on keeping it to the roots and showing the band playing.
So I would imagine he absolutely loved filming this video since its all about capturing the live-performance essence 🤙🏽
