It is kinda cute seeing them be like kids with a crush. It’s rather wholesome even if I’m not sure it will lead to them actually becoming a couple. Cause realistically it wouldn’t really be a feasible idea for the series to try to go all in with; but I still love their friendship in the show. Mary is such a lovely person and I love that Matthew sees so much of her best elements and she deserves that from everyone.

Plus, God tends to place people in our lives to take the focus off ourselves in the midst of tragedy. It sort of rescues us from being consumed in despair.
