I didn’t catch on that they had a little crush on each other, Mary is such an angel to everyone that I just took it for granted that she treated Matthew with extra care since I thought it was just her nature to be kind to someone who is judged harshly. It is kinda cute seeing them be like kids with a crush. It’s rather wholesome even if I’m not sure it will lead to them actually becoming a couple. Cause realistically it wouldn’t really be a feasible idea for the series to try to go all in with; but I still love their friendship in the show. Plus, God tends to place people in our lives to take the focus off ourselves in the midst of tragedy. It sort of rescues us from being consumed in despair.
