I have been trying to learn all I can about the apostle Andrew. I have been relating with the character in a big way. Today, a 10yr old boy get baptized at church. The dad baptized him, and told us about how he was named Andrew, after the apostle. I love when God gives me personal little gifts like that. Thanks everyone for sharing! Father, I lift every member of cast and crew to You. Please keep Your hand on this show. Open the windows of Heaven and bless each and every one with blessings they cannot fathom. Holy Spirit, alert the supporters and fans to any opportunity to share, speak about, and invite people to "come and see" the show. Let us not lay up our treasure on earth. Andrew is not a 'favorite character in a show' it's literally an apostle that he's learning more about. That's through reading the bible and divine revelation from the holy spirit. Be in the world but not of the world, chosen.

I loved that moment too, and I gotta say, I think as funny as it sounds to us, she’s not wrong. I think Jesus would totally choose the unexpected, and the snake more than any creature would seem not only un-cuddlely (is that a word?), but actually maligned, because of what? involuntary participation in a plot to catch humanity in its worst moment? Jesus has championed more un-worthy causes for sure. Like me … for one.
@MikeKBar13 You bring up the key concept that makes all the difference...choice. Do we choose to face and address snakes with Jesus? Or, do we choose to go along with the subtle destruction of pet snakes? "Involuntary" is actually a choice we make. Yes, Jesus can handle pet snakes!!! Blessings to you!
