- “The Chosen” is a TV series about the life of Jesus Christ. The hit show has nearly a billion views in more than 175 countries, and much of the production is shot right here in North Texas. How did they turn a Midlothian, Texas campsite into the first century city of “Capernaum”? The Tex Factor takes you on a one-of-a-kind tour of the studios to look at the props, the wardrobe, and the “fishing village” the Bible calls Jesus’ “own city”.
I wish they would make it a tourist destination, I would definitely go.

This is amazing and the guy who narrated is great. Such a natural and he made everything so fascinating. Love the way he explained the cities props etc. I haven't seen any of The Chosen but now I can't wait!

So amazing to see the artistic work of constructing the entire set. Truly appreciate all the work all of you have put into creating the cities and ports. I was reminded of the scripture verses that were written on the walls. And if I'm not mistaken, I believe they also put bibles in the foundation? WOW!!!❤
This was such a treat!! Do they/would they ever have tours? I taught art for the last 15 years before I retired and would have loved to have created a field trip experience for my students. I’m not even sure they do that type thing anymore, but we surely did years ago. I liked to focus on careers heavily utilizing and/or influenced by art and set design in their own back yard (1 hour away from Midlothian) would have been a fantastic option!!! This young man did a fantastic job of taking the viewer on tour of all this, so the video would be the next very best thing!! I have enjoyed the first three seasons of The Chosen!

Unreal. If we didn’t know who Jesus was/is we would all say OMG WHAT A SHOW WHAT A STORY NO? Well it’s all true…. Now that’s amazing and the best news a human being could ask for whether they realize that or not…. Aside from being GOD is Jesus not the coolest guy ever on our planet? And there have been some really cool people but he stands alone no doubt when you look at everything that he did and everything that happened

@@TboneWTF great question actually it’s the question right? 2 things! Faith is believing without seeing. You turn the faucet on water comes but that’s not the source right it goes through a lot to get to that pipe-faith!!!!
Also a book the Case For Christ-amazing book written by an atheist investigative journalist who’s wife was Christian and the science aspect was in the shroud of Turin the science is in for non believers which I hold nothing against free will and all that and I had a what felt like a real religious experience with Jesus I wasn’t even raised that way in fact I was raised to denounce him but after the things I’ve mentioned and there’s a lot more stuff more amazing things than my stuff I have faith that it’s true that he did live although was 70 years before we had gospels John was there at the cross and documented it I choose to believe and as a book science claims it’s the most accurate book ever written see lee strobes Case For Christ
@@josephgrumet Exactly my concern; faith is the hope that something unseen is real. So far there has never been any proof showing anything written in the Bible to be factual. LOL. Wait - all of the scenes from The Chosen are from Season 1, and filmed at Capernaum Studios in Peaster / Poolville, Texas. Yet you visited the set at Midlothian - they are NOT the same place.
The BIBLE Has been ALIVE AND So I AM

Did you know that the BIBLE comes alive every time a person reads GOD’s word? The Holy Spirit speaks to your soul, makes a picture in your mind and draws you into deeper thoughts. Always use the Bible first instead of an interruption of men. A show/movie is 2nd hand news…..always can be misinterpreted or rewritten for another purpose.
I dunno, I've certainly read the Bible and been very confused. I don't think it's true that you can just pick it up and understand it.
For people who are illiterate, The Chosen might serve some spiritual purpose. But for those who can read, the Bible was given to us for a reason. We are a culture enslaved to visual imagery, electronic sound effects and morality tales which may or may not reflect biblical truth.

The shows creators accept things that the Bible says is a sin and an abomination to God, such as the LGBTQ community. That and Mormonism. That in turn influences the show. I used to watch this series but when the truth came out about their views on the LGBTQ community, and their acceptance of it, I chose not to continue watching.

Do you know him? Do "you", ("whoever" is reading this), know Jesus? Even more, are you "Saved"? If Jesus were to return today, "now", would you be ready? Are you ready? That is the one question that you, and everyone, better know the answer to, because that is the most important decision you will ever make. Jesus is the "ONLY WAY TO SALVATION". There is no other way, "none". This "life" that you are living now, is a "limited" existence. The life after this is "ETERNAL", which brings us to another question: "Where do you want to spend eternity?" Well, you have only "two" choices: either "HEAVEN" or "HELL"! Not everyone will go to Heaven and likewise not everyone will go to Hell. It's your choice! It's always been your choice. Have you ever wondered why we all don't go to Heaven? Well, it's because of just one thing. But that "one" thing "separates" us all from God, and that one thing, is "SIN"! We are all born into sin, everyone is, and the Bible says that the wages (penalty) of sin is "Death". You see, because of our sins, when we all die, we are all "eternally separated" from God. But you know what? God Loves you so much that he made a way for you, for all of us. The Bible also teaches us that even though the penalty (wages) for our sins is death, we can gain SALVATION (a GIFT FROM GOD) through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. God made a way! He sacrificed his only son, for "you"! That's how much he Loves you.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Here's the GOOD NEWS, (THE GOSPEL) Jesus took your sins and paid your sin debt in full. He took all your sins, past, present and future, to the Cross, shed his Blood and literally DIED for your sins, was buried and then God raised him from the dead three days later. Anyone who believes in the finished work of Jesus Christ will be Saved. That's THE GOSPEL (which means GOOD NEWS).

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

He paid the price so you don't have to. Jesus is the ONLY ONE who could. He is the ONLY WAY.

God gives you, all of us, this "GIFT", because he Loves you. How much does God Love you? Well, let me ask you this: "Could you sacrifice your only child?" That is exactly what our Heavenly Father did. He gave (sacrificed) his only begotten son, Jesus, for "you", for the "WHOLE WORLD"!

Please, don't let Gods "sacrifice" (for you) be in vain. Jesus "died" for you. Please "Live" (eternally) for him.
They let one of the crew members (which...they've been open about hiring non Christians since day one) have a small pride flag on his camera rig.
That's hardly an endorsement of LBGTQ ideology. That's letting someone decorate their private property as they wish, because it has nothing whatsoever to do with their actual job or ability to do that job.

I'm compelled to tell everyone that you must repent of your sinful nature and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ. I'll explain how: acknowledging how horrible you have been in God's eyes then have faith in God with a willingness to lay your life down for God so follow through with good works (serve in LOVE) to show God how much you want to change. Seek God with everything knowing you will die and yet live with Faith in God. Then repentance may be granted to you that being the free gift of God. You will be persecuted and yet live, you will suffer tremendously and may even wish for death but endure it!! You will be witnesses to the TRUTH and the TRUTH will set you free from the law of sin and death.
It's extremely difficult because it's not our own doing it's the gift of God, so that none may boast!!! Why lie to yourself and think you're saved if you are unwilling to become a living sacrifice that is acceptable in God's eyes?
