The Rememberances are achingly beautiful. I've watched them for years and my heart always breaks a little more each time I'm reminded of those we've lost. Also, thank you for introducing me to various singers and musical groups.
Surprised and delighted to find Mexican actress Isela Vega at 27:57, a dame I had the honor to meet. Although we share the same last name we are from different countries and not related. She came to Puerto Rico hired for a TV project, a soap opera, in which I was working as a musician. A beautiful lady and a very humble person, Thanks TCM for remembering her.
How sad, sometimes very much so, to see all those wonderful actors and actresses, directors, screenwriters, producers editors and composers, who brought so many incredible scenes and moments that live on as cherished memories for the viewers who grew up watching their work on the silver screen, and eventually on the small screen as well. It's both heartwarming and depressing to see them all remembered so lovingly in the TCM Remembers. Thanks for putting these together. "We are stardust - meant to shine."
Showing all of the Exceptional Accomplished Artists, was shown in an outstanding forum. Thank you for helping us remember, all of the Individuals, that gave us many moments of pleasure, that will last forever in our memories....
Baby Peggy (who passed away in 2020) was the last surviving person with a career in the silent film era. Most of the films she appeared in, were lost in a fire in 1926.
met Richard Anderson several years ago at a celebrity golf tournament..he walked over to us on tennis court to chat...one hell of a nice guy !!....some of the names i don't remember but i remember a lot of the faces...TCM does such a great job of putting these together...the music and the scenes are really good...Thanks TCM
MUSIC by Dan Auerbach - Goin'Home (2016), The Cardigans - Lead Me Into The Night (2017), Lord Huron - When The Night Is Over (2018), Alice Borman - Waiting (2019), and Reuben and the Dark - Shiny Happy People (2021).
I used to be mediocre towards classic movies, but seeing a video of tcm movies shutting down in the uk made me become obsessed with this channel knowing that it will stay with us forever unless warner and discovery merge again like they did in 2022
I really did enjoy this. Most of them I knew that they had sadly passed away. But didn’t Debbie Reynolds & her daughter, Carrie Fisher, very sadly pass away within the same year, like a day apart or something like that? The video shown was portrayed as if one passed the following year. Regardless, this was put together beautifully! Usually, I don’t watch long videos but this time I couldn’t stop watching! Thanks!!
Yeah, they sadly passed within a day of each other, but TCM finished the "Remembrance" that included Carrie Fisher before they could add Debbie Reynolds to it. Usually when that happens, they'll add that person to the next year's remembrance montage. They're both buried in the same tomb at Forest Lawn in Hollywood.
You have to admit and feel quite proud that Keanu stood up for his beliefs. Black listing is a Power play abuse by corporate heads. Who's laughing now....
Putting Robert Osborn in that compilation must have been the hardest of all.
I miss him❤

Glad TCM puts this on every year so I can remember all the great movies that I forget about
These videos / in memorial are MOST important for all to see. Truly wish they were longer but very heartwarming. Than you TCM ! Don’t stop

I loved John Heard, such a great underrated actor.
I loved him, too. "Chilly Scenes of Winter" is one of my favorite movies.
I remember watching TCM. For a long time

We'll never forget you, any of you. Thank you for a million dreams and images.

These always make me cry 😢😭
25:05 What a nice, subtle nod to Ennio Morricone's score for "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" with the background music.
TCM did the same for Raymond Chow 15:11
Thanks for putting this together. I've sent it to many friends who unfortunately don't get TCM. They were all complimentary and appreciative.
The Academy of Arts and Sciences should just pay TCM to do their memorandum. TCM's is always better than the Oscars.
Yes totally agree with you this year's oscar memoriam solidifies that

May they all RIP ❤️ 🙏
This was very well done. Thank you.
Great job, thanks for compiling this. 👍
There are definitely people missing.
Thank You. 😢
Beautiful tribute 🙏
Wow a very well made and edit one, loved watching it.

I enjoyed this immensly!
Truth to who you are😊
Stunning.
Ty Man..
So many great people gone. Now Betty White has left us too.

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Who sings this first song? It's so beautiful.
"God's alive inside a movie.
Watch the Silver Screen."
Gary Brooker
This was so beautiful, but you went too fast through the individual memorials.
Debbie Reynolds died in 2016 not 2017...she died the day after her daughter Carrie Fisher.
Yes but her death came too late to be included in the 2016 tribute by one day.
😢😢
Was Penny Marshall missing? She was in the Oscar tribute with Stan Lee.
Trop rapide,on n'a pas le temps de voir les acteurs
Did they miss Anna Karina in 2018?
No because she died in 2019 but she's was in the revised TCM Remembers 2019 version.
What is the name of this song
Quickly now the candle burns
Who sings the first song?
2015 was Eryn McHugh.
For some reason these are getting worse every year, except this year ( 2022 ).
