I have a beautiful dark red base model 1991 Toyota corolla with 450 thousand miles on it! it has the 5 speed manual. I also own a 97 corolla 5 speed manual that has 300k miles. I also have a 2002 Tacoma with 270k miles on it. NONE of my Toyotas have ever given me an issue. Toyota is my vehicle of choice forever.
also 90% of them that want more power never plan on buying or even test driving this car. not only that the car MSRP would be well above 30k. and to everyone who says i cant buy one cause dealer markups well i have purchased 2 so far this year alone with 0 markup. you just need to take your time and maybe look at a few states near. mainly states that get alot of snow are having harder times selling a RWD sports car.

This is a Subaru BRZ w Toyota d4s fuel injection. Why toyota uses BMW and Subaru platforms is stupid. The GR86 is all Subaru BRZ... Toyota take the 2.5 i4 w 8 spd Trans and bring back a RWD Celica... w 240 NA engine. The BRZ is one of the fastest track cars you can buy due to its balance and weight. It's almost as fast as a 911 Carrera it's like 5 seconds slower. The 911 stock is 427hp

PLEASE get Toyota/Subaru to release a Corrective Action on the RTV silicone clogging up the oil pickup tube strainer. There is way too much RTV silicone being applied from the factory and pieces are breaking off and clogging up the oil pickup tube strainer enough to damage engines. PLEASE get Toyota/Subaru corporate to fix this issue and use simple gaskets!!
I am Glad toyota Made the GR corolla and Yaris. I still think you need to bring the GR Yaris here, there is massive demand for that car too. It is too bad the 86 and Supra were not built by Toyota strictly. Toyota should be building their owns sports car with their own transmission and their own Engines, not these Collaborations that give your heritage away.
