@Jo Poland. Goggins speaks to me and I don’t care who knows it. It’s only been 4 months and I pray I can keep these changes the rest of my life, but Goggins story and book have changed my life.
Considering how much he works out and specifically that he's heavy on the cardiovascular exercise we can expect him to age really well, as in pretty slowly.
For all people who think he's out of the scene, today he's set to break a world record of 4021 pullups in a day. He's already crossed 2500. Go David!!!
i met this man! he talked to us about him being over weight and failing his BUDS training and having to repeat it and he talked to us for about an hour in coronado island CA he is an inspiration
Jesus Christ, this was when David was in peak savage. It’s crazy he gave such a great interview full of smiles and a cheerful attitude. It’s always amazing to hear David speak, he brings me to tears with his message. Even though I’m not in sports anymore, “playing hurt” was always apart of the sport and for me, it applies so well in my circumstance right now and keeps me going. F-ing goggins!
This guy is so fucking cool lmao. One of the best ambassadors of mental mastery the world has ever seen, if not the best. The truest savage. The man has spoken in schools, he's put this information in books, he's spoken his story and his inner findings on television and online interviews. He's making sure the knowledge is out there and that as many people as possible get and stay hard.

When "manning up" doesn't do it....Goggin up!" I want to meet that guy before I die. Just to tell him thanks for the positive influence on my life. I needed the caveman talk and it drives me every day. Stay hard!
The most natural interviewer I've seen talking to Goggins all others are totally intimidated by him, especially all those "TH-camrs", who look like won't be able to do even a single pull up.
@mrblackmagic28 not if your consuming more calories > burning. Also it depends completely on the food you are eating. Doubt anyone can *trim up* if they have a diet low in protein, high in sodium/insert various other things that cause bloating, etc. Yes you can simplify getting lean in the sense a lower calorie diet and some cardio, but the real results come when you use the right amount AND type of fuel for your body.
@@normalbuerger Yes. You can look back to when he was fat and vs. his current self and see the difference in his aura. I see it in myself too and hope I can one day develop that killer instinct like him
diet is the biggest factor cuz running doesn't burn as many calories as some people think. on average just over 100 calories/mile. controlling your diet can get rid of hundreds to thousands of calories a day
Sorry for stepping in, and no disrespect. I can maybe add something useful for you? Better lungs and endurance mean better fat burning because you use more oxygen and that fuels the butter burning fire. Conditioning is key. You set yourself UP for burning more calories at rest. But losing too much fat too quickly can throw fat burning hormones off, so people have to know that if you go hard, you have to eat lots of nutritious food. I made the mistake of training too hard and not eating enough and your body will go into a metabolic shock and store everything as fat until it is satisfied that you are out of danger. Then your hormones have to come back into balance, and that can take a long time---6-8 months sometimes. That's what happened to me after i got into weight training. I was amazed at how easy it is to lose tons of fat---fast-- and i over did it. There is also the psychological factor of having your hard work just come undone and not being able to do a fucking thing about it. So eat. Eat if you are going to really train hard. The nutrition is key. You just gotta make sure to cut OUT useless calories and throw in the same amount of the good nutritious ones and you can begin to see the finish line.
Jake Barker Diet is important and I'm no expert but you definitely need a much stricter diet without running a lot. One thing I'm sure of is that I've never seen a fat runner. So I don't understand what kind of running you speak of. May ne you mean 20 min run on a treadmill. This guy runs miles on a daily basis.
There is an ANOITING, HOPEFULLY I SPELLED THAT RIGHT LOL. HE HAS TURNED HIS PAST PAIN, INTO PRESENT/ FUTURE PLEASURE. HE IN ANOTHER INTERVIEW SAID ON THE OTHER SIDE OF PAIN IS PLEASURE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THAT IS SO TRUE! HEBREW IS DAVID GOGGINS AND HE IS I THINK THE 36TH HEBREW KING! KEEP SHINING MY BROTHER!
