😄 This is exactly what I needed to see. You even answered the buzzing sound I was hearing. My goodness...thank you for putting this out.

Just replaced the cowl on my 2014 Durango. Your video was precise, easy to follow and very accurate. Made the job easy. Hardest part was freeing up the passenger side wiper arm,
    . Many thanks

THANK YOU....Very helpful and much appreciated. This leaking rubber cowling allows water and other debris create issues with standing water in the engine compartment.

I replaced the rubber seal on the cowl from Amazon that cost 9.00. Works great

Found your video after researching the buzzing. Ordered the part and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. So easy a housewife can do it! ;) Appreciate your tips - especially about the wiper blade covers and pushing down on the middle to get them off. Might not have figured that out on my own.

Where did you purchase yours from? I have a 2015 as well which is already damaged.

What part did you end up getting? As best as I can tell it is 5182164AH. Which is $216-240 depending on where you get it. Shipping might get it closer to the $300 you quoted, but I need to kill the angry hornet noise. It's gotten way worse in the last few months where driving more than 15-20 minutes is almost unbearable. Glad to see it's an easy enough to tackle replacement. I was concerned about those fender wings and getting them in place right. Pretty sure mine as never done right from the factory or got shifted with the break booster recall. They were pushed down under the fender lip and cracked those worse.

5182164AH. Found my receipt. I bought it from getoemparts.com
Part was $200 and shipping was $88.

@@mcschneiveoutdoors3681 Well looks like I am getting one for $269, but shipping was all over the place for sure. I found one Mopar parts site shipping was more than the part. Rock Auto was over $100 just for shipping as well. Hopefully by the 10th my buzz will be fixed as well.

@@mcschneiveoutdoors3681 finally got mine delivered earlier this week and installed today. Way way better. Didn’t realize I hit 80 up the ramp onto the interstate it was so quite. Also not sure if you have a replacement windshield, but mine had white alignment lines for the wipers. It sounded like you didn’t have any on yours.

Glad to hear. And still got my stock windshield. I don’t remember any marks.
      Enjoy your new quiet ride!!

      Here’s the Mopar part number.
I don’t remember from where I ordered it, tho. MOPAR was written on the box… but I don’t think I order it directly from them.

I don’t recall. It was a Mopar part and was shipped from overseas.
