At least these comments are kind. I was listening to some other channel with rain sounds and there were so many hateful comments toward each other. I like to read the comments and it brings me lots of peace and relaxation reading them.
I listened to this for the first time in 2020 ...while I was teaching biology remotely....and driving an 18 wheeler. I would play it when I stopped for the night or was in the showers., It grounded me and gave me permeance, 4 years later, it is hard to describe what it does to my mind. I had heard it in 2010 ish during skyrim days ...but never internalized it till 2020,,,then now...very transcendental. Gives longing and forlorn. Wish times were simple again. Love to all who wall the trails of Tamirel
That's very touching thing to say. And that sounds like a high workload. I take it you were able to get through that successfully? Either way, we're glad you're here and thanks for commenting
"Having arrived at Gottlesfont Priory, halfway on the Gold Road between Skingrad and the Imperial City, I resolved to make a side trip to view the magnificent ruins of Ceyatatar, or "Shadow of the Fatherwoods" in the ancient Ayleid tongue. After many hours of difficult travel through tangled hawthorn hells and limberlosts, I was suddenly struck dumb by the aspect of five pure white columns rising from a jade-green mound of vines to perfect V-shaped arches and graceful capitals towering above the verdant forest growth. This spectacle caused me to meditate on the lost glories of the past, and the melancholy fate of high civilizations now poking like splinter shards of bone from the green-grown tumulus of time-swept obscurity."
I've been listening to this nonstop while designing a native landscape for a property owner in the PNW. Somehow I can perfectly imagine what every corner of this space looks like with this music in the background.
If they took all the resources they put into Starfield and just remade Skyrim again from the ground up, I wouldn't have had a single argument against it.
I’ve been having similar thoughts. Hire Jeremy Soule, forget cancel culture. Spend all of that money and just make a Skyrim sequel for Elder Scrolls VI. Iterate instead of trying to innovate so much. Hand craft everything. Make the tiny details matter again just like in Morrowind. It would be incredible.
I'd say include the rest of the continent as well not just skyrim. An entire world with deep lore would be much easier to dive into then a setting we've already been to.
Thank you *Jayson H.* for the donation!! 🤗 Now...forgive any confusion but this is: “The forest of Tamriel” (the 'Redux' version-AKA: the one with no “gaps of silence” between each of the forest samples). However, a very kind user named *Shizaho* pointed out (and to them, I say thank you 😊) that it would sound even better with forest noises/ambience- which is kind of a no-brainer I'm embarrassed to say I never thought of before now. So again, thank you *Shizaho* . Now, a quick note: the atmosphere is track already does have forest and me sounds integrated into it, so Jeremy Soule is responsible for the credit for that
Hello! I wanted to ask if you could also upload non-redux versions of these beautiful songs, I mean the versions with silences in-between. To me they sound more relaxing and I always listened to them on your old chanel. Could you please post them again?

Im here listening to this having the most nostalgia ever. Waiting. Waiting for that myth spoken in reverence amongst the tavern dwellers. The sixth elder scroll. Bethesda please just give us cool things!!
This has been my go to study music for the last year. When its dark I listen to Secunda (slowed). Shame I can't play it during my exam lol. Thank you so much for not riddling with adverts too. Great channel. Great game. Greater Soule gem.
Oh wow this was already my favorite mix you posted, and with the added forest ambience it sounds so atmospheric. Thankyou so much for all this fantastic content on your channel!
I don't know what's more fun, Alone in the Forests of Tamriel" or "Just You & Your Person in the Forests of Tamriel" Either way I love the ambience and video paired with this mix. Awesome job bud 🌲☕
Ive been meaning to request a reupload of this for ages, but keep delaying it. But now you posted it! And subtley different with the ambient forest track does improve it. Thanks ~
I just had to request it, I've been repeating the same few minutes in the official Skyrim Ambience for too long because that is exactly what this video is.. it's so calming!
52:50 is some of the most audially-captivating tones I’ve personally ever heard. Sounds like you are in the forest and at peace, no duh, but it just does. 53:55 onward as well. 1:40:00
Various times when in forested areas. There are a lot if them, I just compiled them all together so they sound seamless. But they never play like that in the game.
Jeremy is a musical wizard

The first ever background music that actually makes me able to study

The ambiance of Skyrim is unmatched. Nothing comes even close
Oblivion and Morrowind ambience far surpasses this and it’s not even close😂 people like you just say anything

This is amazing! Could you please tell me where the placeholder artwork comes from? Thank you so much!
Good 😊
If Soule doesn't make the OST for TES VI idk if I can even enjoy it
😍😍😍
Beautiful🤍
nice video! ty! you have the video of hut or house in the woods with snow falling? i cant find it
My plant knowledge tells me this is a kind of hemlock tree
I don’t really see it, the leaves don’t look like any western or eastern hemlock iv seen
the font is so difficult to read in the thumbnail i thought it said alone in the forest amirite
Could you make this song layered with a stream or river ambiance? It'll be perfect for sleeping.
where does this music start to play in the game? i can't remember.

Anyone else looking forward to the NEW Starfield extended videos we’re going to have soon?! 😬
I'm really curious about if we are going to have really peaceful music like this one for example. Looking forward to it!
We are living in end times. Imam Mahdi is coming the savior
