Rendering this video was a total NIGHTMARE, as there were certain scenes I had to render incomplete and then put together due to the amount of outside effects like the explosions. Therefor, there are a couple of notable bugs in the video (Final Smash has no Inspiration Clip and a random explosion appears during the Playstyle Origin). Hope they don't ruin this video for anyone.
The chaotic nature of the Worms games was well represented here, and this was by far one of your most creative movesets overall! I really like how the Worm's moveset changes depending on what tier he activates after calling reinforcements as part of a shield special move, which in turn brings stronger weapons and attacks to the fray with each tier. This in turn really lets the Worm stand out from the other fighters in that almost its whole arsenal is split up based in power rather than every weapon being all available in one move only, which brings a lot more variety to his playstyle. I also like how there's special KO sounds which depend on how the KO was caused (ex: the Worm got hit by one of his own teammates or traps), which also helps him stand out from the crowd. I really think this moveset was well worth the longer wait, and it's gotten me to check out some more of the Worms games, as I primarily knew of a select few (including Worms Armageddon). No matter who comes next, I'll always look forward to everything Lawl Nova offers in the future!
Wow Skap, you came back swinging for the fences and it shows. This is everything I could ever want and love from Worm's moveset. From the chaotic weapons, to the tiers system, to the damage you can potential do to yourself, this truly captures the chaotic nature of Worms and I loved every second of it. This Moveset is a totally cool and unique Moveset that if I need to scale 1-10 in terms of difficulty he’s definitely a 10 in my book. This does worth the wait and I think your deserved a pat on the back you totally earned it. Can’t wait to see who’s next (my guess would be Toon Sora).
This is an Amazing moveset and was definitely worth the wait! From the risk and reward, Stage Control, and strategic Playstyle, to the great animation of the weapons and final smashes the Worm was perfectly represented here! I really like how this moveset flips my expectations on their head by implementing a well balanced shield special that lets The Worm switch out its great arsenal of weapons! I enjoyed the standard attacks done in the Ko Sounds, the animation on the victory screens and animation in general looks great and I really enjoyed the worms alternative attacks, as they are more useful than his default moves in the right circumstance, but due to the their ammo count, have to be used wisely, just Exactly like how you have to play in worms! I’m also glad to moveset was at the right length for showcasing all the things The Worm can do. I am very impressed by this set and I am really excited for who is next, no matter who it is, since Lawl Nova is a very good Lawl! As for the moveset, on top of everything I previously stated, there are no real notable flaws with this moveset, so: 10/10 would watch again! (Amazingly made combo in the Playstyle orgin btw)

And you even innovated a new dynamic that allowed the variety of weapons the original games used to have. That alone, is impressive. I also loved the little details, such as naming the Armageddon worms after every Nova character during the gameplay examples. It was absolutely worth the wait. After nine months of not new lawl movesets, is nice to see you back into action with a elaborate moveset for this childhood character, as I grew with worms too (Worms oper warfare saga and the GBA worms world party).
This character has been in your Empty Slot for years, so I am glad the moveset was made nowadays with such dedication to the animation and playstyle. I feel that a pre-Ultimate moveset for the Worm would be too simplistic, requiring multiple updates until having it as complex as now. I remember Worms being a huge gaming icon in the early-2000's like Lara Croft, Sam Fisher and Rayman. One could wonder how the Smash Ultimate DLCs would be like 15 years before. I hope Sir Pokon publishes the complete gameplay of the Nova Worms killing each other.
I feel the footage of the gameplay isn't that worth showing, as it's basically what I show in the moveset and that's it (I didn't play any actual full matches). But yeah, Worms in the 2000s was big because Worms 4 was a flop and they advertised the hell out of the games right afterwards, as well as the mobile ports. It has always been a bit of a quiet series though, with many people having played the games but there aren't as many downright fans
Welcome back to Lawl Moveset Making! You have been missed! This wasn't what I was expecting out of this character. Honestly, since I never heard of the Worms games before Nova, I thought The Worm was gonna be similar to the Lemmings in terms of playstyle. Turns out he's a British worm version of Duke Nukem. Who would've known that? :P Still a good creative moveset though. Also, I totally want Sakurai next.

Great video as always! The worm has received a worthy moveset with great animation and variety of attacks, nice job! The inspiration clips belonging to your own version of the game, with your teams and names, it's a very heartwarming touch. So, you can change the voice of the Worm in Lawl Nova just like Vince and other characters? Don't worry about the bugs, I don't think they ruin the video at all. Toon Sora looks like a really funny character, so even if this isn't a poll I'd love to see him next!

All the time spent in my opinion on this was WAAAAAAY worth it in the end as we get this beautiful moveset!! Where do I even begin with this? I never played that much worms but the regular moveset looks quite fun on it's own..BUT THEN ALONG CAME THE GIMMICK and my god did this go from great to spectacular! With how many options there are to pick from, I would have to say this perfectly fits in with their strategy based playstyle, and the a animation...HOLLY HOW?! How does all of this look THIS smooth?! I honestly didn't want this to end as I was so engrossed into this set. A few other things I find cool are the new k rool and Samuel L Jackson idles which look amazing,the cute sounds worm makes when..well anything really happens is such a great touch that is very much welcome and the fact he has 4 no sounds is super neat (funny traitor teammate). Carla, you really didn't need to work yourself out THIS much on this but you did and like I said before, all of it payed off as lawl nova keeps getting better and better as it goes on and one can only imagine what's in store for our next moveset! Oh wait, I probably can't because it will be so great! This is going down as my favorite lawl nova set and one of the best movesets I've ever seen! oh and before you ask, my preferred combination would be tier 2 neutral B, tier 3 or 2 side b,tier 1 down b, and regular final smash.
Even though this was probably on the lower end of upcoming fighters hypewise for me, this was still solid as always and had a lot of variety for a simple kind of character. Liked seeing some new stages as well (including some that I don't think match up with the revealed fighters right now. I'd be hyped for this tease, but I can't identify where these stages are from, so someone in the comments will have to figure that out for me. One looks like it's from a Super Mario World Rom Hack though?) Since the last empty slot was three years ago, and we've got everyone from that one, I just wanted to submit 60's Riddler, Vicky from FOP and Sideshow Bob for your consideration, for whenever that next slot happens. If you're ever gonna have a story mode, you need to beef up your rosters villains xD
The "Mario World Romhack" stage is based on Super Donkey, an early Yoshi's Island prototype that was leaked last year which featured a limbless main character ala Rayman or Plok
Really original, but one thing tough When you use the jetpack and press B to throw a grenade will it be 3 seconds? or the last timer assigned to the grenade? (Note: Pressing A in jetpack ends the recovery)
The asdfguy/gal split makes no sense. Snake arms is part of guy's moves, and the concept of the split is.... it just feels wrong. This has nothing relating to the moveset, but i dont know where else to put it

It would be the last timer assigned. Also, using the grenade thing does not end the flight, as you can see in the moveset.

Potentially. The idle was actually made by my girlfriend so I may ask her to help me with that.
