True, Sam Raimi's spidey is not bad, but this one is closed how original spiderman(60's comic) would behave.
He captures Spider-man's personality perfectly. The voice acting sounds a bit too matter-of-fact but I'd watch this
The voice is pretty manly but the nuance is still jokey and fun
That's the entire point of the gag. She's so shocked, yet he's saying it in such a matter of fact way. It's an extra layer of disrespect towards her plan
That whole thing just sitting in the bus and waiting that feels to me like something any Peter Parker version of Spidey would do
literally punches open the floor of a bus
Supaida: Shh!
I like his little nod at the end. Spidy was really proud of that plan.
I miss that we didn't get to see him in across the spider-verse with his own mecha, hope he is in the next movie
It might be because of peni but I would love to see him return as well. Plus it'd be such a miss considering how many kamen rider kicks have been showing up in animation recently that I feel Spider-verse is going to do one as well. Take full advantage of a spider-man that has strong ties with the rider-kick.
He's basically been confirmed to be like the strongest Spiderman, I think even by Stan Lee, so clearly they could bring a force that powerful into the spider verse 😂
The Director said they already got full permission to use him!

He is spiderman.
(1) He defeats his enemies while joking.
(2) He talks about how he outsmarted while crossing his arms (not necessary, and he continues to be in danger).
(3) He escapes without incident.
True
Original spiderman would do.
This is a faithful adaption of the old spiderman animated series that spawned bazillions of memes. The humor is on point and the manly voice acting is just cherry on the top.

Can we appreciate the fact that Spiderman did a perfect backwards kick with enough strength to make 3 grown men reel backwards...
From a sideways sleeping position.
Well, he is a superhuman. A slap from him without holding back would destroyed normal human bodies.
Spiderman can hold a midrise up. Just the wind from a kick of his would probably kill someone.
He didn't even have to lift a finger. A single glimpse of that spandex-clad ass was enough to send the two angry birds tumbling.
I mean he has super strength

No matter how completely different japanese spiderman is they still kept him as a goofball
A somewhat more surreal insane goofball but a goofball nonetheless

There needs to be an official marvel Japanese Spiderman to continue this iteration of the character. I love how humorous it is.
Spider-Man acting like Deadpool is strangely amazing.
It's the other way around
It’s amazing how powerful he is
Say what you will, it totally still captures the spirit of the character.
"Hey I'm trying to sleep here" is such a Spiderman thing to say
People back then are so powerful, they even manage to hurt the cameraman even just a little
good god i need to watch this version again. It's incredible that this one has virtually nothing in common with mainline spider-man but he still nails the humor perfectly. That "shh" just feels so spider-man within a scene that also feels very spider-man, if that makes sense.

00:22 Riding a bus in Mexico is exactly like this.
Uno se acostumbra
This Spiderman is a menace. His level of thinking is on par if not greater than the villains.
This scene proves that the show was way ahead of it's time
This shows just how much passion for this project they had even with limited budget and having the mecha suit stolen.
If only disney had this much soul put into their movies
Overworked CGI artist is the only thing Disney could do today.
0:17 aww man, I would love to see supaidaman unexpectedly appearing like that in the next crossover movie instead of using that magic portal 😂
"I'm trying to sleep here"
I see he at least has the same sense of humor as Peter Parker 😆
The fact that he made a hole big enough to get inside the bus without any high tech gadgets and only using his bare hands really does amazes me.
Any version of Spiderman could lift more than 10 tons so I'm not surprised.
People tend to forget about Spiderman's super strength, especially because it's often downplayed for plot. There's so many times Spidey runs out of webs and the villain escapes, even though he could totally chase the guy on foot
@@Blade.5786 yeah.
Tobey spidey
-stops a fast moving train
-survives multiple direct hits from a giant sand man
Andrew spidey
-survives bolts from a powered up electro, who is shown earlier in the film to be able to instantly kill people
Tom spidey
-pulls a splitting ship together (failed, but still impressive)
-casually pulls and throws a flying car(beginning of infinity war)
-gets hit by a train and only being knocked out
-survives getting pummeled through multiple floors and walls by goblin

The most bad ass superhero. Imagine, just go to supervillain and say "their plan is failed" and walk away like nothing happen.
this is 100% something comic book Peter would do.
I love how Spiderman stayed in the bus instead of also escaping, just so he could surprise and taunt the villains later.

I like that it both satifies that weird 70's and 80's tokusatsu trope of the hero being a large ego who always seems to be able to pop out of literally nowhere from the villain's perspective but also really fits original spider-man's type of sarcasm, physicality and wit.
I don’t know why, but the abrupt “sshh” that Spider-Man makes after he breaks through the car always makes me laugh
