"So since 2007, we introduced the Red Carpet Collection. It's a high jewelry collection, which means only unique designs and pieces. We make them throughout - it takes almost one year to make this collection. We present it every year and Caroline Scheufele has this challenge that every year we have to add a piece. This is 76 pieces - the number of years of the festival. So it's a big challenge for the workshop because these pieces all require several months of making. So it's quite a challenge."

"With the celebrities, it works both ways. Sometimes, for example, we hear that the celebrity is going to be in the jury or she's going to have her film in Cannes and we like her or we like to work with her, so we contact her. And very often now, because the celebrities and their stylist know we are in Cannes, we have a very big selection of jewelry, and so they contact us first. I mean, we actually even before the film's announced by the festival, we kind of know a bit who is going, which film is going to be there and who's coming through the celebrities asking for the jewelry."

"Yes. I mean, sometimes they ask us for look books, so we send in advance a few look books, but mostly the choice is being made in Cannes, the final choice. But sometimes it depends. Sometimes they fall in love with a piece in advance on the look book, and then they look for a dress to match the piece. But most of the time they have a few options of dresses and then they try to find the jewelry that will match the dress."

"I mean, security protects the jewels and also it's easy for them to give back the pieces and everything. But I mean, sometimes they're very useful. So a celebrity who don't have their own security because, of course, by protecting the jewels, you have to protect the person who wears them."
