1977 was sophomore year at The Pub...Hartford High school Hartford Conn. This music is part of my soul! 2021 going on 2022 and it still moves my spirit.
1977.... When I say that year out loud, it seems like yesterday because everything I did and went through comes to mind immediately. But sadly, that's been 43 years ago 😢 A lifetime for some people. This song, with countless others from '77, will always be with me to remind me of a time when life was simple and pure. Everything is so corrupt and screwed up today that it isn't even funny. I know it's not 1977 anymore. But a part of me needs it to be. If only for one night to go to the Disco and dance to "That's The Way I Like It" by KC And The Sunshine Band one more time ☺
I just happen to hear this track on Jango & Pandora for the first time and I really dig it. This must have been a sleeper song during that time. I sure did miss it until now 2015... Always appreciate my brothers from the bay area.
