the fact that chaewon was trained to be a vocalist but is on the top 5 in terms of dancing really says a lot
honestly, it wouldn't be surprising if she passes to be in the top 3 if she showcases her dance more. we all know she focuses on her vocals, but she has really high potential if she tries to focus on her dance a bit.
Chaewon is the 2nd best dancer in Iz*one in my opinion (yeah is better than eunbi, don't hit me but she is more powerful and fluid than Eunbi and has sharper moves than her)
i personally love chaewon's dancing idk why but it's just so clear and the fluidity is *chef's kiss* and also i just really love her

yena is really a full package idol, she went to produce as a main dancer, became a main vocal during evaluations and debuted as the main rapper. iconic.
Wonyoung and Nako's weaknesses made sense. Nako is too small so she has to exert more power without overdancing to project her moves. Wonyoung gets wobbly due to her height.
Yeah, Wonyoung is tall but extremely skinny! Did you see how skinny she is in the video? I think it isn’t balanced.
@@iiExclipse Yeah. Either she needs gain a bit of width to compensate with her height or she needs to not fully extend the movement of her long limbs to not give off the illusion of an underdeveloped technique.

Woww actually this is the first time i see someone ranking hyewon higher than sakura. But i think the main reason why people usually rank kkura higher is her amazing stage presence. I think they both are the same level technique wise. (is this the right word¿)

i actually love yena's dance the most, she has a great facial expressions and stage presence, she has a great body control and balance, she doesn't overdance or underdance, has a great technique and is very versatile. she can be a main dancer but ofcourse they can't have 3 main dancers lol

Forgive me, but Chaeyeon is a 10/10
chaeyeon does tend to overdance a bit. she doesn't have any weaknesses but she can't do kpop group dances well because she tends to stand out in her group during performances because of a few of her exaggerated moves. she also isn't very flexible with different dancing styles besides the one we see her usually cover for her dance covers on instagram. i think she is a really good dancer, i even believe she's a better dancer than momo, lisa, and seulgi, the most recognized for the dancing, but no dancer is perfect in every single aspect, there are just so many variables you can scrutinize over.
Anime rocks your world the only reason it looks exaggerated is because she’s not comparable with the other girls in izone. She’s on a different level in dancing and you can see that in literally every performance. Of course she’s going to look extra when she’s dancing next to other girls like Sakura/hyewon
@@notagname exactly. she stands out more in her group which is kinda bad in a way . It makes the choreo look messy when we trained for dancing our tutor always said that you can be the best dancer in or group but that's when you're dancing alone when you're dancing in a group you can't show your full potential and must blend in 2ith the weak dancers in order to make the choreo look balanced.

@@notagname you can say the same thing about momo. while she may be more comparable with members in twice, she's still an outstanding dancer and from her fancams, you can see that she matches her style to be in sync with everyone else but then she goes all out in her solo "yes or yes" video up on their official youtube channel. there's a difference in power and that's because momo intentionally synchronizes herself with the rest of twice, while chaeyeon doesn't really do that. that's fine, but it just makes the group look a little less balanced.
i find it funny how during idol school yuri was known as a dancer rather than vocal even though her vocals are wayyyyy more better
and now she's at 9 oOf surprising. i still find her a better dancer compared to both minju and wonyo

I think people see chaeyeon's dance as 'overdancing' becauae of the way her hair moves which makes her moves much more bigger than normal. But tbh, even if she doesnt move her head much and dances normally and out of her style, she still stands out because she just have a natural aura while dancing. She's the kind of dancer that no matter how much she moves, you'll look at her because every move is precise. Even if she doesnt dance much, you'll still look and watch her. She actually adjusts to their choreo and then goes all out during dance break/her part.
Also, they thought also she's over dancing because she overshadows the other members

Even though Yuri isn’t a main dancer or lead dancer I feel like she could be at least a lead dancer since during the fiesta promotion you could see that her energetic in dancing grew. I don’t know hey but I can imagine her as a ballerina like Twice Mina. 😅
Edit after SSOTS: She improved a lot. I was watching her during the performance and her dance was powerful. She was able to control her energy very well! 🧡🧡

at 2018 MAMA hyewon was behind chaeyeon did the dance break behind her and was perfect
Both of Sakura and Hyewon improved a lot. The advantage Sakura has is that she's part of the dance break which I believe Hyewon can do too since the movements were only fast not difficult. So she still rivals with Hyewon.

Tbh, for me Yena is a great performer, can sing, dance and rap, if she joins everglow she might overshadow mia who is also a great performer, the difference between the two is that Yena is a versatile performer, Mia is not, she is more profound to hiphop. Yena is one of my bias wrecker tho ♥️

The fact that yena are going to join everglow after everglow 2years old is just not right. People tend to overlook on Chaewons dance abilities and I saw some people saying that she is the 7th best dance like what?
People sleep on her talent she is an all-rounder and I think she should be promoted as a Main Vocal because there are 12 members here.
Chaeyeon is number 1 but I'm a sucker for Yena's dancing. She is soooo cool when she does boy groups covers.

1/ Chaeyeon (best main dancer so far in Gen3, her dancing is on another level) 🕊️
2/ Eunbi (2nd main dancer in IZ*ONE maybe) 🐇
3/ Yena (she can easily become a main dancer in another group, her stage presence and charisma is no joke) 🐥
4/ Chaewon (main dancer material too, she has sharp and clear dance) 🧚
5/ Yujin (lead dancer and with more training, she can become a main dancer too) 🐶

I love chaewon so much but it's annoying that even though they watch these vids they refuse to believe that yena ranks higher than her they are both amazing dancers but yena has something that makes it hard to take your eyes off her like chaeyeon, she has more control and adapts to different concepts and images better than chaewon like hip hop and izone even said that yena is the most versatile member of izone and that's why chaeyeon picked her by herself to be her dance partner

Sakura has sharp moves in Secret Story of the Swan !!! She has improved a lot now and she's done an amazing job in the dance break.
I appreciate this video because finally someone appreciates Hyewon’s abilities and potentials. Many ranking often put Hyewon at last because she is already known as the trainee/member that was scolded in pd48 because of her bad skills. but honestly im a sakura stan but when they debuted i think hyewon’s improvement in dancing and singing is huge.

EUNBI and CHAEYEON are both god-tier.
chaeyeon has more flexibility but eunbi wins in agility and stamina.
as for Yena and Chaewon.
yena is a powerhouse dancer. she can do almost everything from boygroups to groovy just like chaeyeon. that's why she's chaeyeons favorite dance partner because of their synergy and similarities in dancing. loves hip-hop
while Chaewon is a sharp and precise dancer with good stamina and breathing.
yena wins over her because of yena's capabilities as a dancer is much higher because of her background. (dance major before she became an idol). also chaewon got her precise dance movements in woollim because that is the company's dance signature.
also yena dominates the stage with her stage presence.
sakura said that in all members yena has the biggest stage charisma.
eunbi and chaeyeon are both reeeeallly good, but I separated god tier to the top dancers of kpop. Not more than 7 dancers are gonna go there, so I had to make hard decisions.

As you said, while I watching this I think I come to a realization that IZ*ONE tend to fool me 😅. Their amazing choreography, synchronization, chemistry with each other, little elegant details, and position switch make me overlook what they're lacking as an individual dancer. Also, this might be because Chaeyeon is my bias 😆
This video has made me see what IZ*ONE member is lacking as an individual dancer, I think it will be great if you make an update version because one of the reasons is some of the members haven't receive proper dance training and I think they have potential to be a great one in the future since SSOTS already show their great improvement.
I think sakura deserves to rank higher now

Secret Story of the Swan: hold my beer
I do think that some are a bit lacking however sone of their movement might have something to do with their dancing style. Im referring to over/underdancing. Some dancers tend to exert more force and others are more fluid. Anyway dancers have their little habits so it influences their overall performance. While its not an excuse for mistakes, it is something that should be noted.
i agree w a lot of ur statements as a big wiz*one. first off, there are some ppl seem to view chaewon as a better dancer than yena. yes, chaewon has more energy, but yena's technique and power is way more better. also indeed, yena for me danced fiesta perfectly and the best. i also love fiesta's choreography so much and i agree w ur opinion w it, so i'd love a video abt it. i also think that hyewon and minju has big potentials.

2.Kwon Eunbi - Good Dancer with lot of Charisma
3.Choi Yena - Good Dancer with lot of improvement just like I.O.I Yoojung
4.Kim Chaewon - A Vocalist with good Size When she Dance
5.Ahn Yujin - She born to be Vocalist but her Dance is Stable and Clean
6.Honda Hitomi - A Cheerleader who can dance with gymnastic she is Stable Dancer
7.Jang Wonyoung - She need to improve in her Hand and Body when she Dance but her dance was stable little.
8.Jo Yuri - A Main Vocal who can be stable the Dance since IDOL School.
9.Kim Minju - She need a confidence when she dance she don't need to shy (Btw, Fangirl of Chae Yeon in Dance)
10.Yabuki Nako - She Have Stable Vocal and Dance Since the Love Whisper By Gfriend was hard cheography but she learn the dance 3-4 Days.
11.Miyawaki Sakura - She can dance tho but her dance was weakness in People she like Funny Dancer.
12.Kang Hyewon - Hyewon can dance tho but she can't sync with other member she need to improve her dance.

You should update this video. SSOTS was released and everyone especially Sakura(she was in the dance break) has improved so much. Also the video you used on chaeyeon was when she was injured and she just wanted to dance for the fans.
And good thing now all members have inproved. Yes, including kkura and kwangbae.

i think its bad cause i usually come to videos like this to see people notice minju improvement and potential and praise chaeyeon, im sorry i love all of them but those are the highlights of these videos for me
