Those who never played Xenoblade may think Mechanical Rhythm is reserved for some important boss battle and for good reason too, but allow me to introduce you to the fact that this is battle BGM for COMMON enemy grunts.
He was the guitarist for the base game, it looks like his credit in the DLC is because he made a metal cover of every song, like in Necrodancer. Which I am PUMPED for, you can't have the true Aria experience without hearing Jules go ham in the background
I've never played Xenoblade, but the score is a cut above the rest. Edit: To those wondering, as of 10/19/2020 I just bought Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition for half the standard price and I'm playing through it. Thanks for all the recommendations.
@@wolfpack_104 you might be waiting awhile, then. 😅 Trust me; you get your money's worth and then some just by playing it once all the way through! Incredible story; memorable characters; beautiful scenery; interesting side quests that make that world feel more real and relatable; top-notch music; and the list goes on. Not to mention that there's now a 10-12 hour bonus story that takes place one year later in-game! The DE was my first time playing (though I was familiar with the story and gameplay already), and I easily sunk 100+ hours into the main game and 12+ hours into the bonus story. I couldn't get enough of it, it's so good! 😍 Anyway...all that to say this: I wouldn't recommend waiting for a sale on the game that may never come; but trust me when I say it's more than worth your money! ☺
Thanks for watching! It's a real treat to finally cover some of these classics from Xenoblade and this song is one I've wanted to do forever. Hope you guys are still enjoying the Definitive Edition! As always, the full tab to this cover is available to my Silver Level supporters on Patreon and the MP3 and uncompressed WAV is available to Gold Supporters! Thank you so much for the support! 😊
Oh, l understand you don't want to keep an unintended video uploaded, but l thought it was Really cool to see how you got the entire track in one take, and it made the video really stand out compared to all your other covers :]
Yeah I thought the first video was neat for sure, it was weird at first but I was into it by the end, just watching Jules Jan without edits and cuts. Both versions are great tho :)
I would like to take a moment to remind you this song is exactly what makes the Junks cutscene so perfect. You probably know which one I'm talking about.
I may be a little late, but he ever plans on making a cover on either Unfinished Battle, Engage the Enemy, or the final boss theme (can’t say because the name of the soundtrack has the boss’s name in it), that would be amazing.
I listened to your cover of You Will Know Our Names, and was absolutely blown away. But this track just doesn't have the impact that the real version does when you replace most of the instrumentals with guitars. The violins really make it beyond epic. This is still a solid piece, but I guess it just speaks for how absolutely amazing the original is, as well as the Definitive Edition version.
The beginning of the video description sounds like a title for a Jules Conroy video. But really, this cover is fantastic! This was one of the songs that made me fall in love with this game's amazing soundtrack.
I never payed much attention to this song while playing, but that part at 0:41 sounds a lot like Shovel Knight. Wonder if both composers took inspiration from the same source
YES! Jules this is fantastic and has been on my wishlist for a long time!! Thank you for once again filling my playlist with banger after banger. (And the obligatory plea to listen to Twilight of gods from Fire Emblem)
Ha I had just gotten to Galahad Fortress the other week and looked to see if you covered this. Low and behold you had it the works. Such a rocking song!
Who could've doubted that Jules's take on Mechanical Rhythm would be amazing? Certainly couldn't have been me, no sir. It's perfect. If you intend on doing more of Xenoblade's soundtrack, I would be really curious as to how you would cover Unfinished Battle. The fact it only plays once in the main game is almost criminal, really. And I'm also really partial Tragic Decision. Doesn't get enough appreciation in my eyes.
oh my god "Still, move forward" from Xenoblade 2 would be so fuggin amazing! This remix already rocks hard and i absolutly LOVE that track in xeno 2. well lets see what comes next^^
This is a straight improvement over the original! Well, the originals, now. I mean, I like the originals, but the mastering in this cover is just superior.
Xenoblade soundtrack is always great. Btw, i really want some Xenoblade 2 covers now. With the many problems i have with that game, it still is a great game and with a ost as good as the first one. Torigoth Gormott Province Mor Ardain Battle!! Still, Move Forward! And so much more. Such an amazing soundtrack
Dude, not sure if you just haven't played the game or what, but XC2 has some real bangers. Check out Mor Ardain (day) and Battle Theme 4, in particular!
Is there any reason why you don't upload on SoundCloud anymore? I switched from Spotify to SoundCloud maybe a year ago because I learned it had better free features, so I'm just wondering.

Well only on mechonis but yes

No hyperbole when I say that the hypest part of the minidirect yesterday was seeing Jules as a credit for the Cadence of Hyrule DLC.
I had only recently heard of him and I thought, "holy shit."
