One thing that REALLY annoys me with the EA video games is that if a driver has a primary sponsor that is alcohol or drugs (like Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Sterling Marlin, Rusty Wallace, etc.), they don't put it in. WHY?? I can understand Mark Martin and Viagra because a pill that helps you "show love" to women again is totally not appropriate for an E rated game! But the alcohol, I don't get it!! You know Personal Trainer Cooking? That game was rated E and it had alcohol references. But EA is too chicken to let a beer brand sponsor a driver, even though they could've just slapped an alcohol reference warning like PTC. But NO!!!!!!!!!! They had to go the easy way!!
@@onewhitedude But this was before they figured it out with the age verification. EA probably didn't want to risk getting a higher age rating. There's no use complaining about it now. This was 19 years ago.
Jeremy Mayfield was the Original Cover Driver for the Game but when he was dropped in favor of Kevin Harvick JM wanted his Likeness and Himself out of the Game (He would appear in Total Team Control)
If I would hazard a guess, they had to put him in there because of a lack of Jeremy Mayfield not being in there and they needed another driver to fill the field. They even put Derrike Cope in this game. They didn't put Jimmy Spencer in this game despite him driving the 4 car.
Earn 3000 points in a race or lightning challenge and go to the thunder plates. You may have to count every locked scheme in the game to get the one you want.

I hated how Jeff’s rainbow scheme was in 05 and 06 but not in Thunder 2004.
Because it was the 2004 All Star throwback scheme. It wouldn’t have made it to a 2003 based game.

Same censorship with certain memorabilia as well. As a child i didnt really notice while playing the game but now as an adult it really bothers me. 😂

The ai is so easy
And the soundtrack rocks! I also like the hero villain feature as it makes the gameplay interesting and somewhat unpredictable, the ai has emotions!
