audi s4 c4 is based on audi 100 c4, when audi restyled c4 and gave it a6 badge they changed it to audi s6 c4 and s4 badge was transfered to a4

I own a 2006 Volvo S60 R. (5 cyl AWD turbo manual)…. So I just found out about these cars here and they are the same setup as the R. I’m very impressed.
Not quite. The volvo s60 engines are transverse where these are longitudinal. The audis use torsen diffs while the s60r awd uses something closer to a haldex or honda crv style setup with a transfer box.
@@Clutchdjw you are correct. I guess I was being very vague when I said the same setup. AWD and 5 cylinder.
These are also way more reliable than s60r's and dont have drivetrain issues as well as suspension issues.

god damn i love AAN! i have urs4 w/550hp/630nm and only reason that there is only 550hp is MAP sensor in kdfi that dont understand over ~1,65bar. once tried to switch that MAP but we broke whole ecu because it was so cheap made and that sensor rips wires from circuitboard :E

I sold my -94 2.2 6 speed a couple years back and i regnet it, but the maintenance is too expensive :(

@@Strangeworries Old tuned cars that are sought after with virtually irreplaceable parts get expensive rather quickly. Try finding a new head for a 2.2 at a decent price, still regret the sale to this day though.

The B4 is the Audi 80/90. The 100/ur-S4/ur-A6/ur-S6 C4 is bigger, whereas the rear of the 80/90 is rounder.

The 5cyl engine was actually designed in INDIA!! It was used in the 2nd world war, to power the India army Tata Coronation staff cars. After the war, the Retreating German army stole some, & took them back to Germany. The engines in India, were still producing 180-220 bhp STOCK! So can we all stop thanking Audi, & start thanking Imran Ahmed, who was Tata’s chief developer, & the man who should take the credit for all of the Audi rally achievements. 👍🏾
