I own about 100 props and costumes from Vikings and I was wondering if you guys might be interested in doing a interview or live to see some of the costumes from the show?
Side note Marie is in Red River in the beginning. That lady talking to her is the same one that was showing Hughie the Supes up for adoption in season 3 of the Boys.
I had such low expectations going into this show, and damn did it deliver big time! Looking forward to watching it all again with you and the Stikker Fam.
I’m actually glad you’ve taken this long getting around to watching this. I’ve already watched four channels react to this, but I gotta say yours is the one I’ve been anticipating the most. Just don’t let that go to your heads. With great reactions comes great responsibility.
While "the boyz" was more concerned with political and capitalist problems and bigotry, "gen v" dealt with issues such as anorexia, selfharm, gender. And the way they do it is just great. Considering the brutality of the show, they deal with it very sensitively. Right in your face, but because they are all teenagers here, you actually see them more as victims of the society in which they have to live. In case you haven't noticed, Jordan changes genders. Her female side attacks and her male side defends. So Jordan can only be seriously injured when the female side is out. That's why he/she always switches back and forth in combat.
I absolutely loved Gen V season 1. It's exactly what it is supposed to be it's not quite the Boys it just has its own identity. Some familiar faces and some emotional moments. I'm excited for the Boys season 4 and Gen V season 2.
With you, Steven - SO glad I was out of uni before camera phones were really a thing. So much easier to live by the first rule of the deviant (don't get caught!) back in the day 😉
When i watched this show i didnt know it was a the boys spinoff so 1 minute in seeing A train i got so excited and this show was the best thing that happened this whole year

👑 Emma! I am not one for spin offs and I was going to ignore this show, but I am so happy to be proven wrong. Especially since it is a bridge to season 4! I had no idea until watching it.
I didn’t know if i wanted to watch this show. After hearing all of the great reviews, I binge watched it in about two days. It was awesome! I never should’ve doubted this group of people that created this universe!
They may not be as powerful as Golden Boy, but Jordan is pretty versatile. Their powers are split between their two different forms. Male has strength and durability, while female has force blasts.
The beauty of Golden Boy, we start the show with the notion that he will be a Homelander 2.0 but he was just a good guy who couldn't live with what he did.

I know you'll appreciate this fun fact about the actress that plays Emma, Lizze Broadway. She dated Tanner Buchanan (Robby from Cobra Kai) for years on and off until this past January when finally split up. That girl is built so they must've worked out together when they dated. 😊 17:03 love this show but they got the simplest of math wrong. If the show started out "> years ago" and Marie was twelve, how can she be eighteen 68 years later?

Also, the invisible guy, Maverick, is Translucence's son. Annie mentioned him in season 1 in the bowling alley. And the guy who plays Golden Boy is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
HECK YESS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE! This show was sooo good! It has moments that were a bit over the top raunchy however it was just as good as The Boys maybe even better than last season of The Boys. For a show they really didn’t advertise all that much in comparison to The Boys first few seasons…it ended up being really freaking good.

The screenwriter's spoof news segments, social media interactions and marketing ploys are incredibly well done. Totally realistic, and all the more unpleasant because of it. Vought are utterly without conscience, but not at all stupid. The 'Citizen Starlight' campaign was exactly how a real megacorp would try to dodge responsibility for a serial sexual offender on their staff, and make it into a PR opportunity.
I had a curiosity about her power... if she pushed the blood back into the woman's body, would it go back in with all the nastiness it picked up while on the ground or exposed to the air..?

Finally, let's go. This is a great series and does well as a spin off. The characters are very endearing.

I absolutely loved Gen V season 1. It's exactly what it is supposed to be it's not quite the Boys it just has its own identity. Some familiar faces and some emotional moments. I'm excited for the Boys season 4 and Gen V season 2.
