There was nothing wrong with this video. You did exactly as the title said. Every time we take people out to hunt here in sunny South Africa you can clearly see them where ever they sit just by the shine of the barrel. Doing what you did works very well.
I don't paint my firearms. It's just my choice. I use camo cloth/ burlap on rifles and shotgun. It works well, and is better at breaking up profile than paint.
I've had a brand from Midway USA, and it's been good. If your rifle has a quality finish on it, (DLC, cerakote, Durakote, Anodized) it should be fine. Heres the link to what i currently use. ads.midwayusa.com/product/3219167905
Did I just see this guy insert a loaded magazine, and then operate the bolt? Yes, I did. Then he removed the magazine and DID NOT CLEAR THE CHAMBER. WTF?
I had to watch it a few times thinking I had missed something! The Mossberg? With the burlap wrapped around it? At the 10:32 minute mark? When I loaded the Magpul SLR magazine and cycled the bolt once to show the bolt would cycle? Check the magazine one more time in the video. ( Hint: It was empty 😁) The loaded magazine on the table that was beside it was a AICS that goes to the Sig Cross. It never would've loaded into that gun anyway.
@@AlabamaVeteran no man at 9:20 you load the LOADED mag and cycle the bolt which loaded the weapon, then took the mag out and sit the weapon down LOADED with the safety OFF!! come on man this is how people die. The fact that you dont even remember doing it is the bad part!

Is is safe to leave the camo wrap tape on my rifle for extended periods? I dont want it to rust or pit the steel.
