I don't know" the resets, he doesn't know how long it's been anymore since they started "i can't get a grip but I can't let go, there wasn't anything to hold onto tho" he can't always stay alive but he can't be dead, and it doesn't really matter since it's all going to go back to the before anyone was killed
i just realized another way the sing fits Sans: "why can't i see all the colors that you see" no one but Sans, Flowey, and Frisk/Chara know if the resets, and Sans can't trust any of them, and he feels trapped by it, but Papyrus and Undyne and everyone else doesn't know, so they still feel free (except for the fact that they're trapped underground)
+Ultra Wolfy "please can i be, colorful and free" he just wants it to end "what the hells going on, can someone tell me please, why i'm switching faster than the channels on tv" that fits Gaster more than anyone else, but i guess you could see it as Sans; he's lazy (coughcoughdepressedcoughcough) so he doesn't pay much attention to time so every reset feels practically immediate, and it may be what he felt like when he 1st started noticing them
