Collaboration works only for a single performer trying out how to blend with 2 or 3 voices from other contestants to find out if the singer knows how to "blend" or do blending such as doing parts of a soprano 1, soprano 2, alto 1, and alto 2. for girls and tenor 1&2, and Bass 1&2 for guys. The other collaboration contestants did that with other performers. Mica was complete, no need to try and blend them together because they were blending already and have shown the Korean People how the sisters can blend and shift roles in their voices. It would be chaotic for someone to fit in a group that has it all and I would FAIL the judges in music for not recognizing that. MICA should have been exempted from that round and was made to perform as a group, the MICA sisters of 4 voices, 4 heavenly voices that has captured many hearts including the composer of Frozen' theme, "Let it Go". May I repeat, they were 4 voices already and it would be unfair to add a mutant voice into that song. If Mica was a TRIO, adding a 4th voice would have been alright, but the 5th voice was what ruined their rendition of I'll be there" starting from the beginning of the song number where that very 5th voice "quirk" at 0:15 and trying to outdo some solo portions where a Mica member was obviously better at. If there was anybody not harmonizing with the group, it was that Korean singer and it was not MICA's fault but the Judges who was responsible for placing her.

I think what people dont understand that this song has two (regardless of whos version mariah or jackson 5) has two main vocalist. For jackson 5 it was michael and jermaine who sang lead vocals same goes with mariah's version it was her and trey.... so i don't get why people insist that there should only be one main vocalist. I think they both did great and really complimented each other.

Best rendition and blending...even the judges are so amazed and other contestants look nervoous about this performance... But they did not win...anyways, u are already winners from the audience around d world.
Just beyond 3/4 of the performance was like.. absolute perfection. But I could kind of hear the messiness towards the end - like too many dominating vocals at the same time. If the challenge is to be in harmony then that part would be the only fault but mashing together a group and a soloist - it may be expected. I think it'd be absolutely amazing if they can do a 4th impact rendition of this on X Factor UK - I think Almira's whistle note would blow the audience away on top of everything else.
