Hey guys, I'm sure you know this, but I feel I should point this out anyway. People keep talking about how extremely dark this show gets later on; while I do think it gets pretty dark, for a kids show, I'm worried people may be setting up your expectations too high. The show is truly, TRULY amazing, but I'm worried that you will be let down because the imagination can go quite wild. I'm sure you guys are aware since it is a Disney show, but I figured I should say something just to make sure you don't go into this thinking that something like mass murder happens. It can get dark, but not very. The characters and storyline get more complex and serious but it almost always keeps it a funny family animation.

Bold for an animation show, Gravity Falls runs the risk of being 'overblown' and be deemed 'revolutionary',.. big words as such. When sth has so high a reputation people's expectation for a show might exceed its quality, resulting in disappointment. so yeah I don't think he's necessarily downplaying gravity fals.
Fun fact: Tyler ended up buying both the panther and puma shirt. He then cut them in half and sewed them together, to make a pu-anther shirt. You see him wearing it later in the show. Another fun fact: Chutzpah is Jewish, and is wearing a kippah. I appreciate that.

I find it interesting they enjoyed this one as "something young boys can relate to" but not the Mabel and Gideon ep, where she's dealing with what a lot of young girls are pressured into. Maybe it was harder to relate because of their gender? I do like this episode a lot, it's very self contained but not as plot relevant as others.

Another thing that gravity falls is amazing at is it’s lessons. I don’t know many other kids shows that tackle the lessons this show 11:43 does, and it does it very well!
This show is amazing it has so much depth to it when it gets deeper into the series, I can’t wait till you get farther into it and I would love to see you watch it twice a week
It definitely gets better trust us!! The first half of the first season is more setting up and establishing the world and characters and then out of nowhere you’re hit with all this crazy lore and backstory. That’s all I will say and not give away too much.
Honestly I’d recommend y’all watch these episodes two at a time!! Since the episodes are short and take their time to build up throughout the show, I feel like it would make sense to. Anyway I love your content, your uploads make my week!!!

Apart from Brooklyn Nine Nine and other shows you react to, I always look forward to these Gravity Falls reaction episodes. This show is a HUGE part of my childhood and seeing my favorite reactors react to one of my favorite shows just makes my day. Like what everyone says, the show does get darker. Though I'd use the word 'serious' rather than dark. It does get dark but I think the better term for what the show is like moving forward is 'serious'.
imo, this is one of my least favourites episodes but it still has good jokes. The messaging for both stories is just kinda messy. Like I get Stan should be himself but then Mabel introduces him as someone who needs fixing? And also that's a red flag for dating lol.
