NR1 selling car in Norway last month, 1000 cars in 35 days.
More like 2300 in less than a month
It is over 3000 this month and it is still a week to go.

@@denizkasap7322 Everything is more expensive here. But there is no tax on EV's and there are several other advanteges. The model 3 is therefor as much as a Camry.

Cody Anderson My car has HUD and It’s one of the few options extra that I wouldn’t like to live without. It has a big centre consol screen too but keeping your eyes on the road is simply safer..

I don't get why people hate the interior so much. It's nice and clean. Just like modern interior design. Would like to see your living rooms then...

@@xXYannuschXx And what's wrong with that? We use these devices daily. Why should a car be any different? If I walk into a modern living room with a big TV I wouldn't say that it looks ugly because there is just a TV slapped on the wall...
@@DarcersTech ....are you seriously comparing a living room to a car interior? Why not atleast have some physical buttons for the most important stuff? The Honda EV concept did it right. Tesla just slapped a giant touch screen on a stick in the car and removed everything else, it looks like a 5-10k car on the inside.
FYI: this isn't a design choice by Tesla, it is a financial one. Designing and building a car dash with physical buttons is alot more expensive than slapping a touch screen into the interior and have a few guys design the GUI. The same reason digital instruments are becomming more and more common.

Also, am not sure you quite know how software development works, because developing, and more importantly, maintaining software can get pretty pricey.
The point is, everybody was crying about the iPhone ditching the physical keyboard when it first came out. It turned out to be the right move. It makes the device future-proof. You cannot just add / change a physical button over-the-air...
@@DarcersTech In the end it is still ALOT cheaper, you also need to remember, that producing and storing repair parts is pretty expensive. There were some reports on how current manufacturers make more money by switching to digital instruments and using OTA to update the cars.
That's why I like Honda's approach: the most important parts that are present in the car at all times are controlled via phyiscal buttons or controls (like the air vents, climatronic, etc.); but the rest is done via touch screens.
Needing to go through menus while driving just to change the air vent direction is overly complicated IMHO, also not feeling the buttons when you want to change 1 or 2 settings of the car (like the climate control, steering response, etc.).

My story: My daily driver is a 2016 manual stingray corvette. I LOVE that car. The value-fun equation was/is just right. I can afford more, but I just can't get over the value equation. I feel completely at one with that car. It's fast, loud and ferocious. I honestly love driving it. Have I driven this point home enough? Today, I damned near traded it in after test driving a performance M3! YES, they're THAT good. I will NEVER purchase another ICE car. BOOM! The AWD hooks up perfectly, the steering is very responsive... this is a GREAT daily driver! My kids have definitely driven their last ICE cars.

DoubleDeckerAnton well personally I don’t think so. It will be some kind of milestone for a electric future but however due to the big influence of very popular car manufacturers it won’t be as successful I suppose. VW and most of the other manufacturers have too much control - especially in Germany.

No man, tesla simply sucks... If it's fast doesn't mean that it's good... This car haven't got a personality: no engine sound, no party, horrible interiors with just a cold and lonely iPad, exteriors copied from other cars (tesla model 3 looks like a 2013 jaguar xf) and terrible reliability of electric cars (batteries get ruined after some thousands of kilometers)

@AutoTopNL What do you think about the suspension and the wind noises of the model 3? In some videos it seems like the suspension is very sensitive to crosswise bumps and that wind noises become very loud at autobahn-speeds.
Wind noises are always a problem in electric cars as there is no engine noise,if you took a normal car and removed the engine noise it would be just as bad wind noise as this.
@@cerwynlewis3520 No there are huge differences between cars! Try an S-Class or the Audi A7 with ANC. The BMW 4-series is also very quiet and sized similar to the model 3.
The Tesla is not made for Autobahn speeds.
@@koupdude Rent a model 3 and try it yourself. It's way quieter than you think. But it still is worse than an Model S or an Audi eTron (which is by far the quietest car). But it still is way quieter than any petrol car I've ever driven.

Yeah, cheap materials all over the place combined with terrible build quality. No buttons whatsoever to make it cheaper to build, so you're forced to use the screen for basic functions which is annoying, unsafe, and impractical. I did try it and my judgement is that it's like a less practical Hyundai (and I'm unfairly insulting Hyundai here, actually, they're not rubbish anymore). I'm pretty sure you didn't try this car as you said, though. If you did, i imagine you haven't tried many other cars. Peace

@@MyRealName nope, no cheap materials. Actually, very good build quality. Amazing screen and infotainment system. Way better than the stuff the Germans put out. Very intuitive once you acclimate yourself with the screen.

GlidingChiller Seats are very comfortable and steering wheel is made of leather. The comfort is just my opinion though. You should check it out for yourself

Why did you give away you license
I had the chance to drive an BMW i3 (125kw/170PS) this weekend (the whole weekend). I had never thought i would say that. But i nerver missed one second an exaust or enginesound. It was so damn relaxing (noisewise) to drive these car. And even with only 170PS compared to these Tesla Modell 3, the response and accerlation was impressiv. An overall very impressiv experience. My next car will be an E-car! Greatings from germany.
