“I have someone by my side. Is this not what you hoped for?”
Jerry's streaming program is met with great popularity. Unaware of his family life, his mother decides to set up blind dates for him. She even stalks him, which in turn leads to her shocking discovery of Jerry's gayness, which she finds painfully unacceptable. Such terrible and unexpected a process of coming out leaves Jerry down in the dumps. His father then comes to Taipei as well; how is Jerry to come out to his parents about his family life?
Damian, 38, is an overseas Taiwanese, divorced his wife and returned to Taiwan to open his restaurant, Verso. While at Verso, he meets Jerry. Their relationship intensifies and Damian yearns to start a family, with Jerry reluctant to take on parental duties at such an early age. Four years later and through surrogacy, they are now gay parents to a four-year-old boy. Jerry still has not come out to his parents and has now become a fulltime dad even though his parents still pressure him to marry a woman. Damian is busier than ever at Verso and their son Kai is just getting ready for pre-school....

So happy that Jerry's father tried to understand and accepted them lovingly. Now Kai has his complete family grandparents, aunts and parents. I pray that all such beautiful couples get love and support from their families all over the world. After all happiness of kids is the goal of the parents. 🌈😘😍👍

C'est trop mignons tout ça que ces parents acceptent et le petit Kaï aussi trop mimi surtout quand il surgit pour voir ses papas et grand parent j'adore, et la façon comment ils s'occupent bien de Kaï. Par contre je ne vois pas la saison 1 episode 1 et personne ne me répond bien dommage j'ai attendu et toujours rien se passe que episode 5 pourquoi ?🥰😍

I really enjoyed this Series 2, BUT some BL series are obviously produced, directed, and scripted by straight people. I hate the way that they insist on trying to equate a gay relationship with a heterosexual one by implying that one of them is the 'husband' and the other the 'wife’. This is such a stereotypical view of gay people. Love has no gender, and when two males are in a relationship it should be 'husband' and 'husband'. Wife is female. It is the obsession with 'top' and 'bottom' implying the 'top' is the husband, and the 'bottom' is the wife. In other words, the 'bottom' equates to the female in the heterosexual relationship. This is totally absurd, and I wish the BL film makers who fall into this trap would change their dialogue so that 'wifey or 'wife'' is never used at all to describe a gay man. To put Jerry in a skirt on his wedding day, in the finale for Series 2, also typifies this ridiculous stereotyping of gay men. Full marks to all involved in this series, but please re-educate the scriptwriters, director and producer.
Totally agree with the skirt wearing. If its woman to woman
getting married they can wear whatever they want trousers.. Skirts..dresses but man to man getting married and one wearing a skirt I think is not the norm. There has been a few gay marriages in many BLs and most wear white suits. I'm not against a man wearing a skirt but as you say they get labelled top or bottom and that's humiliating in itself.
My grandson is gay and has many gay friends but not once have I seen them in skirts.
It’s an lgbt show not a bl and if one women can wear a suit on her wedding why can’t a men wear skirt or a dress.
@@amnanasir473 because wearing accepted female attire implies that the person is effeminate. There are some very effeminate gay men, but they are definitely in the minority in my experience. At no part of this series has Jerry ever come across as effeminate or a drag queen. Most gay men are proud to be male and don't need to act in a non-manly way. They should in my opinion be treated as husband and husband.
