OMG I listened to these every night to go to sleep as a child. Pooh, fox and the hound, bambi. All kinds. And they had a book with them.
I had this! I like how the voices from the new adventures of Winnie the Pooh which got me into all things Winnie the Pooh make this classic story new again.
Christopher Robin even has an American accent, like in the show! (Probably because he was voiced by the same boy, Tim Hoskins.)
Oh my god, so much childhood memories with this! My sister and I used to listen to this on tape along with Snow White, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, and the Aristocats.
Had this growing up, I'm sure.
I only had this (the "Disney Storyteller '86" version) for a VERY short time.

This sounds like a re-recording of Pooh's dialogue. That's clearly Jim Cummings as Pooh. The original had Hal Smith doing Pooh.

Sterling Holloway originally voiced Pooh in the actual film. I mean the original read along version.
I say I’d wish Sterling Holloway reprised his role as Pooh in early episodes of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
